I am furious

For those of you who do not know, HBO Max had just released a massive list of animation shows that it will be removing permanently from its streaming service. This includes Infinity Train, Mao Mao, Summer Camp Island and OK KO. For a lot of these shows, they can be found nowhere else on the internet apart from pirating sites.

I am beyond angry. I am sick and tired of animation as a medium being treated like shit. We are talking YEARS of animator’s lives being ripped away like they are nothing. This is a genocide of creativity. And as someone who has always dreamed of going into Animation, I feel like I have been shot in the chest. To say that this is disheartening is a gross understatement. It makes me want to throw up to see how my talent and the talent of artists like me and much better than me is treated like garbage.

Animators are not replaceable. You can’t just throw out works of art like this. Animation is such a personal and deeply emotional process, that seeing this purge is absolutely disgusting. I am enraged and scared and fucking PISSED OFF

I feel useless. Cartoon Network is probably going to die soon after this. And I feel like I can do nothing to stop it. This is mainly just a rant. But I am hoping that other people see this and get just as pissed off as I am.

Who else tears up over little comforts people hold on to in Tv shows. Like Keith and his knife or Barnaby and his little robot. I am in my mid teens and I still have my comfort that Ive had ever since I was a baby. Idk its just.....I relate to it heavily.

I think one of the reasons Snow despised Katniss and Peeta so much was how much they reminded of Lucy Gray and Sejanus.

Peeta and Sejanus are very similar with their hate to violence and feeling insecure on how they were bought up with Sejanus being a district originally and Peeta being a baker and his only skill (according to him is decorating cookies) but they both have great talents with Sejanus being a crack shot and Peeta being great at being manipulating people.

With Katniss and Lucy Gray what I could gather from Google images they do have similar looks in appearance and they both sang. What struck me was the Hanging tree.

Now to be the song reminds me of the Ballad of songbirds and snakes in some elements with the sing with the first verse “Strung up a man who say they murdered three” Now that would be Bobbin, Sejanus and Mayfair Lip.

Now my theory is that Lucy Gray write the song and and Covey knew about the song so somehow it was passed down so when Katniss sang it Snow knew it was aimed at him or something.

Also, another reason Katniss reminds Snow of Lucy Gray was how she tricked the Game makers in the first book with the berries like with Lucy Gray with the snakes.
