also thinking about making a very long post about the beauty of the last of us world? like the buildings having collapsed and the roads falling out and the cars being taken over and all the vegetation and all the animals coming back. but I do not know if anyone would be interested? I've seen a bunch of people make comments of "oh, would it really look like this?" and that has got me going, man. because it would! it would really look like that! I read a book a few years ago called "The World Without Us" and it's about what would happen if humans disappeared from the world and it is (almost) exactly how it's shown in the franchise
