Winter Training
Winter Training
I’m officially back at college for winter training and my week of practices can be summed up in the following statement:
I’m cold.
In my defense I’ve never run in the winter before. We’ve been running on the roads for the past couple days because the track is still snowy and the only reason I’m still hanging in there is because I bring a box of tissues to practice with me. I can’t feel my legs and my nose runs constantly because I breathe through my nose when I run.
That doesn’t mean I’m not enjoying training though. The only day struggled was with 800m repeats (and I always struggle with those). Yesterday we ran 150m (my favorite distance) and I was the only person on the team happy to be out there. I know tomorrow will be another hard distance day, but I’m staying strong.
In other news, my roommate from last semester is moving to a new hall to be closer to her friends, and I will be rooming with the best runner on the team next semester. I really respect her a lot and I think we have a lot in common, so maybe rooming with her will help motivate me even more.

Although it still needs a bit of work, this is my little study space. I plan on filling the bulletin boards with aesthetic pictures and inspirational quotes. The drawer has everything I use for studying: highlighters, index cards, pink staples, and more. I'm proud that it's tidy and ready when I need it
This is gorgeous <3

This is what i do in study breaks. It wasn’t supposed to look so gloomy though
Studyblr Introduction
I’m gonna be honest: I’ve been silently watching the studyblr community the entire Spring semester, but I was afraid to get involved. However, now that college is out and I’m dying to absorb new information, I figured I’d join in on the fun.
I am going into my senior year of college now, and I am majoring in psychology with a minor in coaching. I plan on pursuing my masters/doctorate in Sports Psychology and working in the field of research. Besides my studies, I run track and field, sit as the president of Active Minds for my college, work as the vice-president for Psi Chi (the psychology honor society), and am about to begin as a research assistant for one of my psych professors.
I will never know how I’ve managed to keep my GPA up this far.
I plan on using this studyblr for study motivation for my courses, as well as learning Korean. My sister and closest friend are both from South Korea, and I’ve already started with an introductory Korean book last semester.
I hope to get involved with the community more soon!
