VegetableFrittata

Vegetable Frittata

Frittatas are a terrific way to prepare elegant brunches, hearty and quick breakfasts, and meals that help empty the fridge. Frittatas are delicious warm, cold, or room temperature. In comparison to certain other egg recipes, it is far less fussy. It has almost enough space for everything. Add whatever strange things or leftovers you have lingering in your refrigerator to your frittata. It is really adaptable. And it is really easy to make them. Once the basic formula has been mastered.

A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe. –Thomas Keller

Hong Shao Rou - Chinese Red Braised Pork

Hong Shao Rou - Chinese Red Braised Pork

In China, a dish called Hong Shao Rou, also known as red braised pork or red cooked pork, is highly well-known. Everyone is familiar with it, and there are numerous variations and new twists on the original. The dish's melt-in-your-mouth quality is the consequence of a protracted braising procedure in which the liquid is reduced and thickened. The sauce is typically sticky, sweet, and thick. Steamed rice and veggies are typically served with it. A favorite over the holidays.

Halo-halo - Filipino Dessert

Halo-halo - Filipino Dessert

There is no better time to cool off with some frozen desserts than now, when the sweltering temperatures here and across much of the US don't appear to be abating. Next time you're planning a day in the sun, stop by one of those chilly dessert shops for a cool down.

Mooncake Festival - September 29, 2003

Traditionally consumed during the Mid-Autumn Festival in China, mooncakes are a type of Chinese pastry item. While moonwatching is allegedly related to the event and mooncakes are considered a delicacy, the festival is mostly about the harvest. While commemorating the holiday, mooncakes are shared among friends or at family get-togethers. As one of the four most significant Chinese festivals, the Mid-Autumn Festival is well-known.

Shrimp In Coconut Milk (Ginataang Hipon)

Shrimp in Coconut Milk (Ginataang Hipon)

I enjoy cooking and eating. I've got a delicious pescatarian Filipino comfort food with shrimp cooked in coconut milk. The way I make it and the things I use are determined by my mood. I used string beans, kabocha squash, and red bell peppers in this recipe. I wanted to keep things simple and fuss-free, so I went with peeled shrimp. I made it soupier than normal since I like it poured over steaming, sticky Japanese rice.
