This is not a friendly reminder. Sharia law is to resolve disputes with equal rights given to both men and women. It is very easy to defend all women instead of just one group of them. Malaysia and Indonesia also use Sharia law. While those countries do have problems with women's rights, those problems are completely different from middle eastern countries (more similar to India then Saudi Arabia). You don't see them being denied the right to work, right to education, being forced to wear or remove their hijabs .etc.
