I'm seeing a lot of posts about how Steve "isn't white" when... he was created by Notch, who is very much so a white cis het male from Sweden.
Which according to the Internet, has 80% native Swedes, who are white, and from what we've seen from research has had some xenophobia/racism issues.
He has said some very racist, transphobic, and homophobic things in addition to all this.
I don't think he would ever make a non-white main character.
You're allowed to headcannon Steve as whatever ethnicity you want, but why don't we uplift actual minority characters instead of getting upset about Steve of all things?
