My room is in the basement. We know this. Unfortunately, that means I hear whenever water turns on anywhere in the house. The sprinklers are on between 2am and 8am. Not normally a problem until I have to listen for something outside during that time.

Anyway, I'm laying here, reading on Ao3 because I took a nap earlier and can't fall asleep, when there's a flash of light outside my window. Concerning because there's four feet of foliage and 15 feet of yard before the street. I turn to look and there's a second flash. It can't be a car because of the angle, so I start freaking out about someone with a flashlight looking in my window.

It's lightning.

I checked the weather because I keep hearing distant and quiet rumbling.

On the bright side, it's looking like it's going to be storming for a few hours.

I did not need that heart attack, though, thank you Zeus

We're gonna piggy back offa this to make another announcement for Time Loop

I'm gonna try to update Time Loop every Monday on a consistent schedule. Hopefully at noon (my time), but I can't guarantee that the time will stay the same.

The parts (for this and other stories) are going to be scheduled to post at noon on their chosen days, though depending on several factors, the update announcement won't go out until a bit after the part goes up.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'm not doing tag lists anymore, so the best way to keep track of updates is to subscribe to the masterpost for the story(ies) you want to follow. Or, you can check back every week. Up to you.

Time Loop, to get back on topic, won't be going up on Ao3 yet. For now, I'm undecided on whether I'm going to post all of it here before moving it or not, so that's still up in the air. I'll have it figured out, soon, though, so....

I figured I should let ya know that I'm going to be posting the entire story here on Tumblr before editing and posting on Ao3.

If Person A and Person B are dating, Person A's kids cannot date or fuck Person B's kids

My dad doesn't like pics of himself (I get that from him). Today, though, was Hawaiian Shirt Friday at his work, and went and bought a Star Wars themed Hawaiian Shirt and he has now been inducted into the club, complete with a tiny palm tree to prove it. He got home and had mom take a pic of him in his shirt. We now have exactly one picture my father knows he is in.
