“A picture is worth a thousand words”
A phrase that is so often quoted to the point it is considered a cliche. A cliche perhaps not only by its frequency of use, but also by how obvious it may seem. This photo above seems to portray that so much stronger though.
The image contains a tangible sense of dread. The subject, a young Henry, staring at the entrance to the abyss that will soon capture him. Taken just hours before his death, there’s a sense of despair as he gazes upon what will soon steal his freedom in just mere minutes. The composition, particularly the relationship between Henry and the faceless ass that will consume him are framed in such a way I probably did not even have to reveal Henry’s fate, it was already so clearly foreshadowed. A melancholy sorrow permeates on his face, not that of fear, but loss. He seems less concerned about the horrors he knows to be awaiting him just behind those cheeks and more so grieving all that he will be leaving behind in the world before passing through that one way gate to his demise. It is in this moment he accepts his own mortality, depressed by this revelation, but not afraid. An accepting glare that acknowledges his hesitance and his loss while also acknowledging the inevitability as he prepares to enter the faceless figure to be processed into mere compounds.
Do you think you’d be willing to write a story about a reduction predator?
No, simply because I honestly don’t know what that is. Can you DM to explain?
Have fun, big man. What you don’t realize is that little Dominik here thinks eating big is fun.
Being big is fun.
That’s cute, he got himself all dirty so I wouldn’t eat him. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like it, I far prefer clean guys any day of the week, but make no mistake that’s just a preference. If I can melt your bones with ease, I’m not gonna have any problem with a little dirt.
Uhh, should someone tell him that the Freshman 15 usually refers to 15 lbs gained during your first year of college due to overuse of the dining hall, not 15 Freshmen tanked during your first year of college.
It’s just the freshman 15, right?
