Embarrassing Moment For Me. When I Didnt Realize A Certain Actor Was In Netflixs Adaptation Of The Sandman.
Embarrassing moment for me. When I didn’t realize a certain actor was in Netflix’s adaptation of The Sandman.
Ferdinand Kingsley.
I knew him as Mr. Francatelli from ITV’s Victoria.
So that episode. (Episode 6: The Sound of Her Wings)
My sister pointed out that Hob Gadling's face looks familiar. huh? maybe...
Then 1700 era hits, and we're both "IT'S HIM! I KNEW IT". Then the 1800 era hits, and we're both "THAT'S HIM! THAT'S FRANCATELLI!" (The sideburns and mustache help.)
But I was still following him on Instagram. Still following since ITV's Victoria first aired on Masterpiece PBS. Yea, Insta algorithms get weird and I was not that active in the cast's social media presence bc of other things... I saw Jenna Coleman's face in The Sandman trailer. But clearly, I missed all Sandman-related advertising from Kingsley.
So now, I feel stupid for realizing too late.
At least it was a delight to see Jenna Coleman and Ferdinand Kingsley share the same screen again.

No mainstream news channel broadcasted South Africa's presentation at the Hague (you actually had to find a livestream YouTube or Al Jazeera) but they broadcasted Israel's arguments 🙃

I made a meme

Barbie Fun Fact
Barbie ballet movies vs real life ballet.

For some lay people on the subject, in ballet there is a specific type of lacing for the straps of the shoes, and in today's post we will check the laces of the shoes in Barbie ballet movies!
You may be asking yourself "how do you mean correct lashing?" The image below will answer that:

Without further ado, let's get to the shoes!

Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Pink Shoes, They are correct! (Apart from the fact that the pink shoes are the wrong color, and in the movie we know why)
And we have the 12 Dacing Princesses

But, this may have an explanation! As we know 12 Dancing Princesses is not a ballet originally, and this may have reflected the ninth film. In addition, the wrong way of lacing the shoes can mean the way that the 12 princesses are different and more independent, not following rules, as they are shown in the film, being treated like savages, without label.
