" You aren't exactly a puzzle ", Kaz said tartly.

Inej looked at him and though he didn't look back , he already knew how her eyes would have been. Bonfire at a musical. Home.

She nodded ," Yeah. But you are ."

Kaz could hear the music the warmed up the fire in her. " But you can't solve me ," Kaz professed and then added , " Some of the pieces are lost ."

It always rained in Ketterdam . But not today . Not tonight . A salty breeze lifted his hair and pressed them to his side , like trampled grass over the battlefield . But for Inej , it was like a wave crashing over the rocks and wetting the shore . Violent but serene .

She seemed sceptical for a moment . " I will carve mine and make them fit in yours ."

" Will you ? ," Kaz wasn't sure if he had made up those words himself . It was difficult to hear over the sea wind .

" I will ", Inej confirmed .

She left the way she came , like a lost phantom . Like the true Wraith.

But was she even there ? Kaz asked himself . No .

She wasn't . Afterall she was the Wraith and the Wraith didn't unveil herself when she was spying on rich thoughts .

She was just a phantom.....a phantom of his imagination .

Ok, so I have a weird thing to share:

Kaz Brekker is the 'Bastard of the Barrel'

But , a gun also has a barrel...and the bullets once being shot , become highly deformed for a reuse i.e. they loose their original value..( bastard is a thing that is no longer in its original form)

That's just sums up the fact that

Kaz Brekker is like a bullet!

(I know I am weird, if this doesn't make sense to you, don't worry you are normal)
