Abolish The Police - Tumblr Posts
Let’s be honest.
The police aren’t made to be punishers, yet they act as if their trigger happiness is justified. Their is no reason to fund and sponsee or vouch for the police when they don’t have any morals to stand for, when they spread blood on the pavement, and when more people are afraid of them instead of needing them.
I can’t keep being told that “ things are going to get better.” When things should have been better a century ago. If I wake up and the first thing I see is that there’s another victim and their killer walks free. The police needs to be abolished, the justice system reformed, they had too many chances.
Disgusting, when you know that you don’t have an excuse for killing a child, yet instead you bury yourself deeper in this pit of utter bullshit! This is beyond just killing a person, this is just mocking them after they’re gone. I don’t have the words for this level of stupidity. Blue live matter my ass, another child is murdered.

NYPD continues violently clearing Washington Square Park by showing up in the 100s in riot gear, chasing park guests, arresting park guests, and attempting to illegally prohibit filming them.
The park’s closure enforcement is being demanded by the wealthy property owners around the park who believe displacement and violence and justified to secure their desires for a quiet park. more here

And who enforces this? Is it just a few bad apples, or is it all cops?
How hard is it for them to find cops willing to enforce this? Do they have to sift through hundreds of heroic cops who refuse until they find the one cop who's monstrous enough to enforce this, or do they easily find cops willing to enforce this because monstrous cops are everywhere and being a monster is part of the job?
"All cops are bad" is not a stereotype. It's literally a requirement for the job that every single one knew about.
ITS A LONG VIDEO, BUT YOU CAN DO IT. WATCH THIS, EVERY WORD.
-No video TW other than loud noises, yelling, chants-
“There are principles and there are human lives that matter more than our careers and our futures. …the commitment to Gaza runs deeper than fears for our safety, fears for our careers, fears for our paychecks. It is a fundamental obligation we have as citizens of a country that is presiding over, arming this genocide, and as students at a university that is invested in those same weapons manufacturers and that has partnered with the same apartheid institutions that train that military and develop its technology. …For me the next step is a simple one… to keep fighting with every breath we have, with everything we have for the people of Gaza, because the blood of those kids is on our hands…”
If we can’t put stopping this brutality before our own fears about career, reputation, fucking profits - we’ve misunderstood the assignment of being a human.

‼️EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING NEEDS TO WATCH AND HEAR THIS INTERVIEW‼️
a man, who was 75 and posed no threat, got assaulted by the police. he was pushed to the ground and left bleeding from the ear. he was put into critical condition (I am unaware how he is doing now sadly, as the article I read didn't name him). guess what he was protesting?
police brutality. namely that against George Floyd.

I'm not gonna be quiet no matter how badly people want their feeds to go back to "normal"
I'm here and Im gonna fight!

I keep thinking about how fast they murdered Tamir Rice. Less than two seconds on scene, before they could even put their car in park. Tamir’s skin color alone was all the justification police needed to use deadly force. Pretty much the same thing with Adam Toledo. But even knowing that white shooters have literally killed people and are still armed, cops will bend over backwards to see their “humanity” and take them in alive.
And it’s not just the race of the active shooter that matters to the police—it’s also the demographics of the neighborhood and the race of the victims that plays a large part in deciding which mass shooters get taken to Burger King, and which ones get executed on sight.
Anyway

icky!!! >:^(
