hear me out, I have an idea about Reverse AA-AU where everything is somewhat similar, but characters are switched. It's kind of reversed DL-6. Gregory and Von Karma switch places, and Franziska takes Miles' place. Yet there's where I propose a somewhat interesting concept, mb?

What if instead of Miles and Franziska having their dynamic reversed, it was Eddie/Ray who wants to know which one of them "deserves the Edgeworth' name" More.

In this AU Miles becomes an attorney, and was tutored by his father. But before Miles, Gregory was a Eddie's/ Ray's teacher. Gregory was famous for his perfect defense and thorough belief in his clients. And now Eddie strives to be like this, and, much like his mentor, hasn't lost any cases this far.

This au might include Gregory forging evidence and this was found out during the case he and MVK were investigating. Though Manfred couldn't prove it fully in court, it has shaken Gregory's reputation and he was penalized (basically he couldn't do his job for a few weeks). This drove Greg to insanity which is why he shot MVK.

Basically, imagine how funny it would be if Edgeworth couldn't escape this petty competition in any universe.

Continuation of this post with some new ideas. I'd really want to see OG Phoenix, Maya and Edgeworth to meet this reversed people they long new. Because it would be so hilarious to have MVK be our assistant.

Like imagine Phoenix trying to defend Franziska in Reversed DL-6 and hitting the dead end. Phoenix reaches for the court record, but it isn't where it was last. He turns to Maya, who was unusually quiet for quite some time. But it isn't Maya anymore, it's MVK's ghost, that she channeled. And he took the court record to examine the case for himself. He explains to Phoenix that he suddenly awoken in these strange clothes, in the middle of the court case with a crumbled paper in his hands. There was simply "I'm Maya Fey, channeling you to help Phoenix to win the trial. Your daughter is the defendant, crazy, right? Anyway, we're stuck, please help." So he helped himself to the court record to at least understand what's happening.

Now in this AU MVK is a good person, but still a jerk at times. Like, if Phoenix gets something wrong Manfred would be at his limit.

Phoenix: "And the real culprit is.... Franziska von Karma! "

Judge: *shocked*

MVK: Sorry, I guess the defence is an absolute buffoon who humiliates both himself and this court. Allow him to think again, though.

Phoenix: The victim in DL-6 incident was killed... With the glass shard!

Phoenix: (why do I feel that my temple burning..?)

Phoenix: This is the proof that Ms von Karma wasn't there during the crime!

Phoenix: (if the looks could kill, we'll have a trial with me as the victim.......)

But the other times he helps very much. Despite staying stoic ans unfazed, MVK tries his best to protect his daughter and find the truth. And when prosecution (OG Edgeworth) or witness (Gregory) tries to push defence around, he usually helps with his mere presence. When Judge tries to end the trial MVK does smt similar to his OG counterpart and literally stops him mis sentence.

Another AU. No DL-6. Byrne gets very close to finding out the identity of the ringleader, so the smuggling ring decided to act. Instead of killing Byrne, Callisto had to expose him for being Yatagarasu. Mack Rell still kills Deid Mann and during his trial Byrne is accused. But, unlike the original, trial continues and more and more evidence point at Faraday. But suddenly Badd appears, starting to give the testimony. After a few words he says something that only the real yatagarasu would know. When Callisto starts questioning him, Badd plays dumb, but ultimately admits to being the legendary thief. He says that he used his friendship with Byrne to gain access to different companies and position as a Detective to hide the evidence. Byrne is shocked, since he understands that his friend is now taking all of the blame for his own. However Badd doesn't back down and continues to disprove Byrne's allegations. The court was adjourned and Mack Rell is pronounced guilty. Tyrell is arrested. Callisto did what she wanted by immobilising Yatagarasu and leaves (???). Gregory and Eddie (Ray) hear about the case and want to prove Badd's innocence, but he refuses. Despite all their reasoning he refuses to have them as lawyers and even refuses his right to a lawyer. But despite this, Ray (Eddie) finds a way for them to represent Badd in court. Ray (Eddie) switched to being a state lawyer and asks Gregory to be his judicial assistant, so Tyrell can't get away from them. They meet Faraday, who looks 10 years older because of the shock. Badd took all the blame, because he wanted to protect Byrne and, most importantly, Kay. +Badd didn't want to make Gregory compliciant, so doesn't invite him to the trio/defence. Thus begins the story of mysterious theif that poses the question: are all the truths should be revealed?

I started thinking about it and it’s made me go feral- Like I can’t even begin to describe it in words-

I know that this AU has been done time and time again- but I really want to put my own spin (Maybe?) on it-

Plus it’s an excuses to draw happy, healthy Wrightworth-

We all know that the end of aa1 edgeworth lefts and making most people think he dead, right?

How about that after hearing the news about edgeworth's 'suicide'. Phoenix went under a depression and quitted being a defense attorney and make money buy doing other jobs (depends on what you like. I like that he opens a bakery.)

But he only came back when Maya was accused of murder (again). Phoenix tells Maya that he's quits being a lawyer but would come back and defense her. After the trial, he went back and continue with his bakery. Maya don't understand why, but when ever she asked he always never like to talks about it so she eventually drops it.

And can you imagine the reaction when edgeworth hears about it or how'd phoenix's reacts to the friend that supposed to have died now standing in front of him (he would chuck the whole basket of bread at him).

Edgeworth would begs him to come back but phoenix would just ignores him and continue with his job. But eventually they would make up and talking to each of again but edgeworth also drops the fact that phoenix would not returns to be a defense attorney.

And how the story progress is up to you.

Ok. I know this is a stupid name but it call "Turnabout Nice Try!" or "Turnabout Try Again!" Yeah I know it's stupid and have nothing to do with the au itself but I can't think of another name.

A dream? A memory? Or a foolish wish that reality didn't bind you to be left behind?

i made these in different times in the past 2 weeks, ignore the inconsistencies please lol

 Drawing for a medieval wrightworth AU I’ve been thinking about, in which Phoenix is a... phoenix, Maya is his priestess partner and Edgeworth is a knight.  The basic lore is that phoenixes are powerful guardians with the duty of protecting the innocent from injustice, and his time has come to take this role.  I’ll probably post more about it sometime

 Here are Maya and Luke’s designs for my laywright au! (and the whole team together just for height comparison.)

 As far as I’ve tought, the synopsis for the au is that Luke’s spirit got separated from his body, which makes professor Layton go seek the help of Maya Fey, the spirit medium - who happens to work with famous attorney Phoenix Wright. On their quest to find out what sort of power affected Luke, they end up caught in a great mistery involving some vengeful ghosts from Wright’s and Layton’s past...

 I think I’ll keep working on this thing, so asks are welcome!

 Well, I’m not even sure if Godot will play a big role in my au, but I thought about how cool his design would look so yeah here he is 

 And a bit of lore: the ghosts in general never look 100% human, their forms are always a bit (or very) monstrous. That’s why Godot has the weird eyes and Luke has a fish tail and because his name is Triton sooooo...  Mia, however, retains her human appearance since she had spiritual powers. (Might change her design a bit though)

since this au is set after what would be it’s version of the origninal trilogy events, they’re already in friendly terms with Wright and co. now. 
I think Wright and Edgeworth dated back at some point, which didn’t work out (for a number of reasons I may get more in detail about later). Still, from this failed relationship they built a really strong friendship. They just know they can count on each other for anything, be it fighing ghosts, battling in the courtroom or asking romantic advice of how to get to their new crushes (Wright’s is Layton, and Edgeworth’s… welp, I’ll reveal that soon enough).
