adar is a "dom with men, sub with women" bisexual, love that for him

If truly Maglor is Adar I badly want Adar and Elrond to meet and have an emotional reunion. Elrond would have to accept Maglor is too far gone to be his father but he would still hold on to false hope that there was still something there. And even if there was a part of Maglor that cared for Elrond , Adar would have no love for him.

LOTR: The rings of powers + Text posts
rewatched rop and i genuinely enjoy it. idk man something about adar is just super cool. something about galadriel is super cool. something about miriel is super cool. something about durin and elrond both is super cool. something about halbrand. something about nori and poppy and the stranger is super cool
hell i even like theo. theo's neat. and isildur, i like him too.
i may just be able to say this because i haven't read the silmarillion or any of the other books and i'm not a die-hard tolkien fan who points out every inaccuracy but i like it. i just like it
ORC CULTURE !!!!!1!1!!!!!
Minor spoilers for Ep7 of trop?
Is anyone else going to lose their mind with me at the fact that trop just gave us a little hint of Orcish culture- which is way more than Tolkien ever gave us. Orc funerals !! They mourn !!!! They gather in silence to watch the last remnants of their kins' beings leaving the world !!!!!! I am going insane !!!!!!!!
That's not even mentioning the expansion of Black Speech- which Tolkien wasn't even interested in developing further than a few dozen words. Apparently he simply lost interest in his dedicated and painstaking explorations of culture and language when it came to the Orcs, so we were just left with a big gaping void- which was filled in the case of Elves and Men (Dwarves to alesser extent) with rich cultural history and nigh-speakable languages.
I'm just happy that the show has filled in a tiny bit of the blank space, and made the lore all the richer for it.
So I just finished the rings of power season 2 finale it was epic 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Sam Hazeldine as Adar S2.E6 ∙ Where is He?
So about S2E6. Adar suspecting, and now knowing, who Halbrand is, totally changes the finale dynamincs for me (kudos to everyone who guessed he recognised him)!
Adar probably suspected it since asking Halbrand 'Who are you?' after he interrupted Galadriel's interrogation. Because who is this mortal, who is so close to one of the most powerful elves in the Middle Earth?
Halbrand tried to kill him, but restrained himself with great difficulty after Galadriel asked him to. Adar knows Sauron deeply! He would know how difficult that would be for him. He must have guessed Galadriel is important to Sauron.
Adar might have even overheard some of their 'I felt it too' chat on the log (enhanced elvish senses?).
This motherfucker must suspect Sauron desires Galadriel! And the nature of his proposal to her! What's why he's proceeding with the attack even though Galadriel warns him not to - he thinks he has an upper hand with Sauron until Galadriel is his hostage.
Think about the conversation with Galadriel and all the innuendos from Adar (I'm still whizzing because of them by the way!). How he asks about Sauron's offer. How he reaveals the very intimate nature of his own tempting (his desire for children). How he knows one will be obsessed with Sauron once he gets into one's mind. It's all so suggestive and it must have been intentional. He's oversharing in an attempt to get as much information as possible from Galadriel.
Sauron looked into Adar's soul, saw a need for being a parent, and exploited it. And Sauron's promises in canon come true but in a twisted, nightmareish way, like with Adar's children. Adar shared with Galadriel that Sauron has seen his most intimate needs and used that knowledge to manipulate him. In Galadriel's case this might mean that Sauron saw in her a need for love and connection (and power too of course) and tried to exploit it.
I am wondering what it means for the finale (I haven't read any leaks and I don't inted to).
Does Sauron know Adar has Galadriel and that he knows who he is?
If not, could this face possibly come after that reveal? I for one would absolutely love it

Edit: I have changed some parts to explain better what I mean
