A rainy night in a cave

-Fluff, reader has problems with sleeping outside for the first time

You were trembling in a small cave in the middle of the woods. You, Aether and Paimon were on a quest, which was nothing unusual for them, but it was for you. This was the first time you joined the traveler on one of his adventures after he was nagging you about it for days now. It wasn't a long trip you thought, but in the big excitement you forgot about one of your weaknesses. You're not the best at sleeping at new places, mostly not where you haven't been... And now you're literally outside, in the rain among trees, animals, and monsters near by. How can your friends sleep so easily like this... You slowly sit up after moving around for quite a while. You're looking out of your temporary residence, how the trees are moving in the wind, and how the water is dripping down in front of you to the wet ground making a big mud puddle in front of you. You didn't notice that the boy behind you also woke up because of the thunder. Y/n? What are you doing...?"-he's rubbing his eyes with a tired expression-"Is there something wrong?" -he asks. "No.. No-Sorry did I wake you?" - you turn around to look at him. His eyes were glowing in the small light of the moon. You would adore it some more but a big rumbling from the sky makes you jump. Aether giggles at you quietly. "You can't sleep right? Is it because of the rain?" - He whispers because the small companion is still sleeping. "No... Well yes that too. I just... Have a difficult time sleeping outside and stuff. But it's okay I fall asleep in a bit I'm sure-! I mean we did a lot of walking today. " - you smile awkwardly. "Oh, I'm sorry-Why didn't you told me? We could've look for something more house like."-he sighs, but his expression is worried. "No it's really fine, don't worry about it!"- you insist. He puts his hand on his chin and stays quiet for a bit. "Well you can come a bit closer to me, if you're worried about the monsters that is. It might help that I'm right next to you."-he smiles gently and takes your hand. "Let's try to sleep, okay? We have lots of walking to do tomorrow." You would insist, he's being too generous for such a childish problem, but his idea might work. So you just go with his idea. When you both are finally laying down again, face to face, he smiles at you once again to reassure you that everything will be okay. He slowly takes your hand in his, and put your hands between the two of your heads. It makes you a bit flustered, but you just give him a shy smile and try to sleep. You troubled him enough already."Good night y/n, I promise to protect you.

sypnosis — they all got into a game of among us one day, and everyone decided to be a chaotic mess. who else is there to fix it, but you? well, maybe you did get carried away as well...

you swear, you thought that your boyfriend was either being a little kid or the devil's spawn.

you felt pity for his friends and brother. you never actually knew how he managed to persuade his brother into playing a game of among us with him.

you were laying on his bed as he played on the computer, silently laughing to himself making you really wonder if the devil had possessed him or not.

you didn't actually play with him so you just kept watching him play, and well, let's just say you heard aether going batshit crazy in the call and kaeya laughing his ass off.

he's honestly such a good imposter, if it weren't for the fact that he sounds like satan everytime he kills diluc. he doesn't do it often because then people would suspect him, but he does it every once in a while.

to be honest, as you were minding your own business, you heard kaeya chuckled and said "your mom" making you look at him with pure amusement.

it was getting late and you honestly wanted to have time with your boyfriend, so you tried to make him stop, that was until he made a deez nuts joke to you.

"this is my 13th reason. bye." you say jokingly and pretended to leave his room to go to yours but kaeya screamed out that he's sorry and stopped playing </3

whenever he plays among us with everyone else, he surprisingly gets more vocal about it, especially when someone saw his mistake when he killed someone-

"JUST BECAUSE YOU SAW IT DOESN'T MEAN I DID IT VENTI—"

you had cackled so loud when you heard him say that. you knew albedo was never one to be extremely vocal, even when he was angry, so when he shouted those words you were both shock and amused.

when the game started again, and sucrose was the imposter and killed albedo, the pure shock came out of his voice and was both confused and betrayed.

honestly, you never really expected your boyfriend to be this way but as soon as you had talked to him, he calmed down and smiled at you.

you swear you thought that there was a second albedo and he was the one playing the game.

"kaeya. KaEYA. i SAW tHAT. i SAW THAT" his voice cracks and you laughed. after having your fill of laughter, you went to grab him water because you were worried for him <3

by the time when everyone was done playing, you could tell that albedo's throat was sore from screaming. you gave him a warm hug as he enjoyed your embrace <3

if you were surprised that albedo was loud, you'd be even more surprised with him being loud.

honestly you were just cooking lunch for the both of you when you suddenly heard him scream and going "HOW COULD YOU—"

well, then again, even if in public aether is more silent than the rest, you knew him to be very vocal about his feelings behind closed doors.

you remembered him crying about a barbie movie before, but you couldn't blame him or make fun of him because you was crying as well.

when you were done with making food, you got some water and gave it to him when you were in his room from the screaming.

he basically got murdered and when he told you who it was, you were on the ground laughing your ass off.

"i can't believe lumine did this—" he said as you laughed before getting up.

what did he do afterwards? well, he went to grab a speaker and by the time the game was over, he unmuted himself and said "lumine, this is for you"
