Grandma's opinion of Of Mice & Men

I asked my grandma who is 61 years old what she thought of the name of the band, each member and then I had her listen to 2 songs by the band. I also told her what each member in the band does. This is what I got for Of Mice & Men.

Lego Owen

So in Lego Jurassic Park Owen has pratically the combined powers of Alan and Billy.

And that let to me and my boyfriend calling him their child.

But it would make sense. Owen likes dinos, especially raptors, so that is from both. And he is very sportiv from the militairy, and Billy was very sportive too.

So we are sort of waiting for a fanfitcion where Owen comes home to the 2 men that adopted him and gets greeted from the whole survivor-of-Islar Nublar+Solar club with a sort of: we are happy you are back, but hell we told you so- speech.

Overwhelmingly Alan post. Her arc at the moment is kind of changing morals through gaining empathy for her “lab rat”, which clashes with her wife who still dgaf about lab. Not sure where to go from there yet, but hopefully not Yuri divorce

is this a life? i don’t know. i make another cup of coffee. stare at a tree from my balcony. write in my journal. take a hot shower. i call my sister and say nothing of value. she listens anyway. i make another coffee. read a book that gives me bad dreams. pick up my pen to write and put it back down. another flip of the calendar i carry in the center of my chest. i am learning to let my heart open up again

Sketch dump: Smiling Friends edition! My brother found it very strange that Alan and Glep are my favorite characters, and I’ve got no clue why either. They’re both deranged warped little creatures and I like that. I think they’re homies

Apprehensive towards posting sketches because they’re so unpolished but then I think about how I love it when artists I follow post sketches and that made me feel better.
