I love this Hobbit <3 (I still remember my best friends calling him Billboy, Blorbo and Billboard, don't ask me why lmao-)
Took me a while to capture the essence and personality of his character, but I'm most pleased with the two in the middle!
Just Saw "The Hobbit"!
My friend got me into an advanced screening of "The Hobbit"! I won't spoil anything here for those who don't know what happens, but it was very good, and did its job of living up to the "Lord of the Rings" name. Spot-on performances, great sense of humor, stellar special effects, and all of the epic shots and battles (and walking) that we've come to expect from the series. I think I sense another Best Picture nomination in this series's future...

So, this⦠is the hobbit
I headcanon that Dori and Gloin don't get along too well. In AUJ in when Gloin is going on about Oin reading the portents Dori was right next to him rolling his eyes. Firstly, Dori doesn't believe in reading omens and stuff and second finds it annoying how Gloin talks on and on like he's so important even if no one's listening (kind of like with Gimli in LotR). And Gloin gets annoyed by Dori's finicky-ness and frilly tastes in things and words.
They are loyal to each other and the company and trust each other in battle, but when they aren't head-butting orcs they're butting heads. (I'm so clever with words!)
This is my peeps diorama for the contest at school. I didnβt win but there is still the Peepleβs Choice Award and if mine gets the most likes on facebook then I can win a kindle fire tablet; which would be pretty cool.
