Lewin blinks. A threat? Man, teenagers are weird. "No, just a fact. The Vatican is safe, no one from outside the Order can get in." But it seems that suggestion is shot down so Lewin just shrugs. "Up to you. And him of course. In any case, I got what I needed, so I'm gonna head out," he says, pointing behind himself with a thumb. The situation appears to have been diffused, so he turns around to leave.

🌀 "Give me a break! Normal schools are more careful about who they let walk around their campus!" Of course, Rin was also aware that True Cross was huge compared to 'normal schools.' The labyrinthine layout itself was meant to be a diversion for visitors with nefarious intentions.

Lewin's following suggestion sends a chill down Rin's spine. "What the hell?! Of course I don't want that! Is- is that supposed to be some kind of threat!?" 🐈‍⬛

"Hey little guy, you lost?"

"No." And he resolutely continues despite the fact that he is very lost.

"Yooou sure?" Rin is going to stay close by, 'cuz he's a little worried about the kid all by himself. "You got a parent or older sibling around?"

The teenager is getting another look. Lewin completely ignores the question though. "Why do you have a tail?"

That does catch Lewin's interest. "What sort of demon? Do you have other demon things? Are you half human or half other demon?"

If that tail gets anywhere near Lewin, he will grab it.

🌀 "Hm?"

"Oh- I'm half demon." Hopefully that wouldn't scare the kid, but honesty felt more appropriate than making up some kind of lie. 🐈‍⬛

Fire demon? Maybe he's part Salamander, they have horns sometimes. Or a dragon? Lewin watches the tail as it moves, wondering if its like a cat, dog, or reptile tail in behavior.

"What's it like having a tail? Do you control it?" He still wants to grab it.

🌀 Woah, that sure is a lot of questions! But at least the kid was curious rather than scared.

"Ah... what sort?" How was he supposed to explain that, though? Claiming to be of the 'Satan' sort probably would terrify the poor child.

"I guess- fire demon?" Technically wasn't wrong, right? "I have fire horns sometimes, if that's what you mean by 'demon things.' And yeah, I'm half human-" Was being double-half-demon even possible?! 🐈‍⬛

Lewin is following the tail with his eyes. "Can you hang from it like a monkey? Do you brush it?" He continues to ask small question until the tail is suddenly within reach. And he grabs for it, not gently either.

🌀 "Yeah, something like that."

"Uh- it's... it just feels normal now, I guess. I don't really think about it that much. I can control it, but sometimes it moves without me meaning to." Lewin no. 🐈‍⬛

Lewin does not fight when he's yanked by the scruff of his shirt, because Osceola tends to carry him like that a lot. However, he doesn't think to let go of the tail. So if Rin isn't careful, he will yank his own tail.

🌀 "I think that would hurt if I did. And I brush it sometimes, but- GAH! Hey!!!"

"Be careful!!!" He's gonna attempt to scruff the kid by the back of his shirt, maybe get him away, if he'll let go. 🐈‍⬛

The child looks to Rin, expression unafraid and if not a little curious about the reaction. He considers his choices, hanging from the scruff of his shirt. Finally, forever questioning, he asks; "Why?"

🌀 "YOW-!" Yeah, that might've been a bad idea in hindsight. He's just gonna dangle the kid in the air still latched onto his tail, unsure what to do now...

"Let go." 🐈‍⬛

Lewin hums throughfully. "Mm, 'kay," he says, letting go of the tail. That makes sense. He doesn't really struggle to get put down, just hanging in Rin's grip. "It's soft."

🌀 Rin just lets out a weary sigh, his tail twitching in the child's hands irritably.

"Because it hurt when you grabbed it like that, so I don't trust you with it." 🐈‍⬛

Why are we whistling wedding tunes?

"Actually, if you eat demons you just eat the thing that they possessed, but with an underlying bitter and sulphur taste. I think that could be the taste of Gehenna miasma!"

Staring at him suspiciously.

"Are we having a staring contest?"

"You really are Fujimoto's son!" Lewin laughs. "Thanks kid, but I can't promise they won't pick up some of my bad habits," he grins as he ruffles Rin's hair.

"I have a sixth sense for idiots who don't feed themselves properly. You can blame my brother... so just! Take it!"

"Suguro and Dennis both look up to you, I don't want them picking up any bad habits." 🐈‍⬛

"Careful or they might get mad! And since Fujimoto is the mom, that'd make Rin the weird little brother."

"Some, for sure! A few are kin of Azazel as well, because y'know, wind and wings. Demon is definitely 'just a word' used as a broad interpretation of beings from Gehenna."
