Elmville is wild. Like 14 year olds are just allowed to kill people as long as they go a specific high school. And that school is run by a wierd old man with the same deranged impulses as a high schooler but with hundreds of year of magical study and practice so he's basically unstoppable

You know, I know how it happens from an 'unfortunate consequences of worldbuilding over time' point of view, but also Arthur Aguefort murdered the shit out of Mister Gibbons even though the school apparently regularly resurrects entire adventuring parties as part of an optional but expected standard exam.
