Starting off strong I see. Alrighty then *cracks knuckles* here we go~
1) What was your first exposure to TMNT?
I laugh at this now in retrospect.
Picture this: 9-year-old Jen visiting her newly moved out older sister with her mom. Mom and sis are needing to talk about stuff that doesn't involve wee little Jen, so big sis tells her to watch whatever DVD was left in the player -- should be good for a kid younger than preteen age to watch. Low and behold, it was the original 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, at that time the same age as wee little Jen. Now, little Jen has seen the original cartoon -- but it had been a hit or miss. But this movie? Holy crap, it was like the holy grail was delivered within the palm of her hands.
What's funny, apparently mom and sis ended their conversation not even fifteen minutes into the movie and tried to get my attention, but I was immediately hooked and sucked into it -- they finally got my attention about halfway through the movie lol We ended up eating lunch at my sister's so I could stay and watch the movie. Never looked back and have no regrets (and lovingly fully blame my older sister to this day for my obsession🐢💕).
12) Which version of Donatello is your favorite?
Picked up on that, I see lol Honestly, love all the turtles equally due to their differences and complimentary dynamics--BUT, speaking specifically on Dontron...couldn't have asked a tougher question lol
After thinking on this (I literally stepped away to ponder this question, no lie) it will have to be Bayverse Donatello. His adorable snort-laugh (tickles me every time). His nonchalance on electrocuting his brothers with his electric bo. His pure, un-adulterated excitement with anything science/tech related, even if it's preconceived inconceivable science and tech. HIS NONCHALANT STEPPING OUT OF AN AIRPLANE AS IF HE WERE STEPPING OFF A PORCH. BRO. Just. *mind still trying to compute after so many years* What the fuck, Don?
I also can't help but think Bayverse Donatello was a core blueprint/inspiration for Rise Donatello and, if that's truth, I love that kid (Rise) even more for his complete, unhinged energy ✨🤌🏽
19) Who is your favorite ally?
Hands down, the Nutrinos from the 1987 cartoon. Absolutely love the trio, especially Kala. The episode where she was accidently stranded in the boys' dimension, and they had to work on getting her back home is one of my top 10 favorite episodes of any iteration of the series. Michelangelo and Kala tiptoeing around their hard-core crushes for each other is just chef kiss ✨🤌🏽🧡
33) What is your favorite thing you've made for TMNT?
Hhhhnnnggg That's another toughie, considering how endless my pit of stories has become. If I'm to be honest, it's a tie between two drafts that I have:
1) A story that started 13 years ago titled "The Fifth Renaissance Master". It is currently getting revised and ties in TMNT with Gargoyles and Transformers, a story that will be told within the span of 3 arcs. My two favorite bits? And this I don't mind spoiling 'cause it's gonna be in the summary once it's a good way along to post -- I figured out a way to have Elisa be their sister while still holding her adult history on becoming a detective for the NYPD. And for Transformers to tie in via the villains after the second arc. Words ✨cannot express✨ how excited I am for this story.
2) A softer story titled "A Family Tail" that is geared towards Splinter finding, in his early years as a newly formed mutant and father, the care, compassion, friendship, and eventual love from a nurse that helps him get his sons through their first ever bout of illness at a very young age. Possibly one of the most wholesome stories I've ever plotted out and my heart hurts so good every time I pick it up to write😭💕. I am thinking of posting this one soon(like, two really's soon), chapter-by-chapter, as I randomly get scenario ideas during the day. So, this one might just end up an on-going story post soon enough.

For those wondering: No. Neither Gravity Falls or The Owl House are being removed from Disney+. Both are money grabbers for the company and have gained increasing popularity; it's on their top charts. To the point that Disney is in talk with Gravity Falls Creator, Alex Hirsch, about a possible revival of the series (it's still in conversing; nothing official has been confirmed or announced since I last checked, as that is one of my favorite series).

I think one of the most helpful things I've heard was that everyone plays differently. Figure out what pup play means to you and work to expand that. With that in mind, there are resources that are super helpful. Wattsthesafeword with Pup Amp and Mr. Kristofer is great for learning concepts and they talk more on the kink side of things. Other than that I'd recommend looking into your local pup communities and observing/experiencing them. Most communities I've met have been super chill and welcoming!
TLDR: everyone plays differently, learn what pup play means to you, research is helpful, reach out to local communities, go experience/observe it.

No worries about asking questions lol, it's the 2nd best way to learn 2nd to experience. If you can't find a local community, maybe look online. I first got interested in pet play after seeing a man with his hood on just vibing and I thought, "nice vibe, but what's this all about." Went online and found Wattsthesafeword and then went down the rabbit hole. I ended up finding a site called Pupspace, made an account amd started chatting with pups all over the world. The best way to learn what is or isn't for you is to first ask yourself what are your limits. What are things you find interesting, things you don't really care for, all of that. Then research it, ask questions, get feedback, experiment, and experience. Pup play is after all a subsect of pet play. I've come to know various different pets ranging from pups and kitties to horses and lions, but if your looking specifically at pup play, there's moshes (get on all fours and roll around with other pups. Might have some wrestling, might just be a nice cuddle puddle, might even play fetch with a few handlers), some prefer the hierarchy where there are handlers, alphas, betas, omegas, etc., and for some it's the social aspect of being around other pups and just shutting the brain off and enjoying the vibe and living in the moment. Remember though everyone plays differently so my definition of play may look different than others. As for gear, it is not necessary at all, but it can help get you in the right mindset. When I put my hood on, it makes it easier for the human to go to sleep and the puppy to come out and play. I really hope this has been helpful!

It is exhilarating! When collared/leashed it is the purest form of trust I can have with my handler or alpha. No thoughts, no need to plan, no need to make decisions, I really get to live in the moment, be as impulsive as I want and trust that they'll keep me safe while I'm wondering the "pupspace".

No worries, I love answering questions! I met my handler by accident lol. I went home to visit family and got introduced to a new family friend and we became really good friends. He then found me on grindr and was surprised to learn about how kinky I am lol. The rest was history lol. As for the hierarchy stuff, I'm still learning but I think it would go handler/owner, alpha, beta, omega, then stray. They're not exactly order of importance, but roles within the pack. Alpha is typically the leader, betas are 2nd in command, and omegas tend to be more service oriented and submissive. Strays are those without handlers or a pack and are just as valid as any other pup! I was a stray for the longest and it's surprised me how mean some pups can be about strays. The service classification (if it's what I'm thinking) means that they are more interested in your pleasure than theirs. I know a really good service alpha who really prides himself on taking care of his pups.

Don't forget what I mentioned earlier, "everyone plays differently." I don't really do it for the sexual side of things but for the social and for the stress relief. Being in school and entering a high stress field has my mind wired to constantly be on the move, making sure I make the right calls, follow all the right steps, and worst of all it comes with social isolation. Pup play helped me rediscover my social side and temporarily shut off the need to worry and stress, and just be in the moment. For me, it lets me chill out, have fun, and be social and let go some of the burdens my human life has.
There are some pups that go through training, but thats typically between handler and pup or alpha and pup. As with most kind of kink play, training can also look different from person to person or pup to pup. For example, my handler used "funishments" to correct bad behavior. They were all punishments, but with a fun spicy twist to it. I don't really get where people get the idea that I can be "bratty" from, but because he felt I was being bratty by teasing him, he gave me a funishment of no orgasms for 3 days while he would "play" with me. It was intense, but fun lol.
For the most part and this is just my opinion, it's pretty much acting and playing like dogs or pups. Getting into that puppy headspace and just being present and in the moment with others is what I think puppy play is all about. I don't think you are overthinking it, and I think you are asking some very well thought questions. I sincerely hope that my explanations have been helpful, but i also do want to stress once more that everyone plays differently. There is no 1 right way to pup play, but by asking questions, gaining insight, and experiencing what it is, I think all shape a strong foundation for your path to pup play.

You're welcome! From my experience, I haven't really met many pups on discord, Pupspace is where I found a pretty nice community and that introduced me to local pup scenes. With that being said, I'm sure there are some pup discords out there, so potentially it could be a good place.
