I love this
Hellsing Headcanons
Alucard is covered in scars left over from his human life that never healed after he became a vampire. I mean from what we’ve seen in canon he was imprisoned by the sultan and was probably tortured throughout his imprisonment; not only that also fought in penlty of wars as well. Leaving ever inch of skin caked in scars and ripped flesh.
Seras also has a few: one on her side where her parent’s killer had shot her. Some from the other children at the orphanage; I like to believe Seras had sort of a violent streak after the murder of her parents and every little thing would just set her off, causing her to get in fights nearly everyday. And one scar on the left side of her chest where Alucard shot her.
It’s never seen nor mentioned what happen to Integra’s mother. I headcanon that see probably died during childbirth and integra only knew her mother through stories that her father told her. Also Integra’s mother was an Indian immigrant who moved to England in search for a better life.
Alucard was estranged towards his father. They never had a stable relationship and barely spoke to one another as he got older. But I like to think that he was very close to his mother and was predominantly raised by her.
Seras did have other family members, however they didn’t want the burden of caring for an emotional unstable child or they just made other excuses as to why they couldn’t take her in. So they abandon her at the orphanage.
Walter was also orphaned at a young age and lived on the streets as a thief in order to get by. He met Arthur Hellsing while trying to pick his pockets.
I also think Anderson was orphaned at a young age as well and was born in a small Scottish village. His father was a local preacher and his mother a school teacher. He lived a pretty normal life until his village was burned down by bandits; he was the only survivor. He wander aimlessly for a long time , lost and hungry and lonely with no place to go for most of his life. Hence , his love for orphans he never wants those poor children to suffer the way he had.
