this is a basic and powerful banishment spell to keep a toxic, malicious person from influencing you, affecting your world, and attempting to hurt you. best done during a waning moon. you will need:
> black pepper (banishment, protection from evil)
> cloves (banishing hostile and negative forces)
> vinegar (banishing, binding, and averting evil)
> black and white candle
> paper and pen with black ink
> a jar with a lid
1. as you light your candles, recognize that the flame creates an aura of fire, will and strength. the black candle burns and summons protection from evil; the white candle burns and brings you cleansing and purifying. meditate on the flames and allow their warm auras to surround you.
2. write the personâs full name (if itâs known) on a small piece of paper. hold the paper in your hands and let yourself feel angry, hurt, sad, or whatever this person makes you feel. charge the paper with the pain this person has caused you, until you feel done. then, take your pen and scribble out the personâs name until itâs completely blacked out and opaque.
3. fold the paper up as many times as you can, and throw it in the jar. sprinkle the pepper and cloves over the paper, then fill the jar with vinegar. this mixture banishes their evil from you and drowns out their will and power to harm you. close the jar tightly. if you wish, use some black wax from your candle to drip onto the lid and seal the jar shut.
4. place your banishment jar in a dark, hidden place, like the bottom drawer of a dresser or the corner of a closet. keep it forever, or until you feel its purpose is fulfilled.

Supplies:
Paper towel or paper
Black sharpie (banishment)
Yarn [thick kind that is really hard to cut] (binding)
A small container
Black Walnut oil (banishment)
Black pepper (protection, banishment)
Cayenne pepper (protection, banishment)
One rusty nail [or more, depending on how big your container is] (protection, banishment)
Vinegar (protection, banishing)
Bay Leaf (protection, banishing)
Black candle (protection, repels negativity, banishment)
Steps:
On the paper or paper towel, write down the name of the person youâre trying to banish. If you know their birthdate and/or zodiac sign, write that, too. I liked using paper towel because itâs absorbent and better absorbs the spell, I feel thatâs the case anyways.
Tie the rope around it tightly, while thinking about binding that person from doing any more harm.
Stuff it into the container.
Add 3 - 9 drops of the walnut oil. Enchant it with the purpose written next to it. Add your peppers, enchant.
Place your rusty nail(s) in the container. Enchant.
Fill the container to the neck with vinegar. Ensure there is enough room to add your bay leaf, though. Enchant.
On your bay leaf, write banishment twice on one side and on the other, draw two Pentacles to seal it in. Stuff it in the container.
Light a black candle and drip the wax into the inside of the container lid. Let it turn gummy, not completely dried yet. Then screw it onto the bottle.
I placed it in the freezer afterwards to freeze the person from creating anymore harm. I wrote on the lid (since Iâm not the only one in the house) âDONâT OPENâ

Cleanse yourself and your space well. If needed or desired cast a circle or any protection wards you may feel to be necessary though this up to you as a personal preference. Make sure you are working in a place where you can safely burn candles, tie back long hair and roll up any loose clothing or sleeves. Place your cookie tray down in your work area and cover it with wax paper if desired to protect it from dripping wax.Â
For your poppet make it out of what you wish to and make sure to write the names of the individuals you are banishing from your life on it. If you have any taglocks you may attach them to the poppet as well. Have your bag and tape set to the side for easy access but out of the way.Â
Set up your candles so that the red ones are on either side of the black candle, light them as you desire before beginning your spell.

đ„ âBy Dinâs Fire, I banish youâ Repeat this as you drip the red wax
đ„ Once done with the red wax extinguish the black candle carefully and drip the black wax
đ„ â(name[s]), You are gone from my life a never returnâÂ
đ„ Take your wax paper with the poppet, salt and wax still on it and fold and crumple it up carefully but firmly so nothing falls out.
đ„ Place this bundle into the bag you are using and tape it up well, sealing any remaining energies or things they have brought into your life so it cannot affect you again
đ„ Take the taped up bag and toss it into the trash or dumpster where it belongs and continue on with your life without them

Iâm looking into banishment spells for banishing people, anyone have any they found particularly successful in the past?
I think the 21st century has a branding problem.
Why is "this person is morally corrupt/violent so should not be allowed to have the power and influence they have" and "bland tv show is no longer on the air" the same word? I don't want to cancel someone, I want banish them
op I'm gonna fucking cry. I'm gonna.im gonna cry. The number of times I needed to put my head down and breathe before continuing is not countable what the FUCK whyyyyyyyyyyđđđđ
The line 'as warm as his father promised with an agony he'd never mentioned' i legit gasped. Oh gosh, the gods truly believed that they were incapable of changing, but Zeus and Apollo's relationship begs to differ
Whatâs better Christmas present than a bit of angst huh?
When Apollo was young, not yet a year old, he was banished from Olympus due to his crime of murder. Gaea called for his head, but Zeus shielded him.
âI will not rule as my father did,â he said âThe boy can learn, he can be better.â
Apollo was sentenced to exile. Nine years, though he was not told this. No, Apollo was certain that he had lost his chance to join his family in the heavens. His father had spared his life, and as penance he now had to stay on the mortal realm for all eternity, alone.
The young god made due with what he had. He wandered through the fields of Greece, tending to the animals he found along the way. He would sing, as light and clear as the birds, and mortals would flock to the sound. Apollo was never allowed to linger long, but he fell in love with that feeling of warm comfort mortals seemed to carry with them, that joy that he could never quite reach. When he could, he worked, often for little reward. He wanted another taste, another glimpse of a less lonely existence. So he became a shepherd, a soothsayer, a musician, always a few steps away, watching but never being.
One day, in the middle of the coldest months, Apollo was hired by a farmer in the Vale of Tempe. He had a large herd of cattle and was in desperate need of a someone to care for them. Apollo traveled through the backroads and forests, making his way to the valley. When he arrived, however, he found no farmer, and no cattle. Instead, a lone man sat at the base of the river that flowed through the vale. The water was near frozen over, but the man did not shake. Instead, he turned, and smiled wide.
âApollon,â Zeus said, âOlympus has missed you.â
Apollo was shocked. Had his father truly come for him? He dropped into a low bow, too nervous for words.
Zeus chuckled, low and warm, âRise, son. There is no more need for humility. It has been decided you have done enough.â
âTruly?â Apollo asked, âMay I truly join you on Olympus?â
âYou may join me at home, Apollo.â Zeus responded, âYour home. Come, we shall perform a rite of purification in these waters, and then you will ascend to your throne.â
And so the rite was performed, and Apollo was cleansed. As far as the rest of the world knows, the two immediately ascended to Olympus, to the glorious applause of the other members of the divine court. Apollo took his throne, next to his dear sister, and began his immortal duties.
But there was a moment, one moment, which was kept away in that sheltered vale. Once Apollo had been cleansed, he stood at the bank, waiting for the next step. Any demand his father asked of him, he would have agreed too. But Zeus held nothing over his head. Instead, he summoned a cloak of sheepâs wool, and placed it over Apolloâs shoulders.
âA gift,â he murmured, âThe golden treasures you were born with will bring you glory, but this my son⊠I hope this will keep you warm.â
And Apollo believed, with all his heart, that he would never be lonely again.
Time is a cruel master. As years bled into centuries that bled into millennia upon millennia, Apollo realized that loneliness would be his most constant companion. He realized that the source of this loneliness, this suffering, would often be the very man that promised to keep him warm. The fire of his fatherâs hearth burned everything it touched, leaving Apollo with blistered hands and a scorched heart.
But he still wore the sheepskin. When the loneliness crept into his bones. When the lightning crackled across his limbs with a burning pain, as warm as his father promised with an agony heâd never mentioned. When all seemed lost to the ground and the dust. Apollo found that wool cloak and cast it over his shoulders. Even broken promises can bring some sort of comfort. Even old sheepâs wool can bring an illusion of warmth.
I was his child once. He used to love me.
If only the bite of a kingâs cruelty could be chased away as easily as the chill of a winterâs day. The wool does nothing, and the loneliness remains. Apollo shivers, and goes to rest.
