Evil Stan’s memories of Before are a bit of a mess – Bill surely had a hand in this. He needed Stan to hate Ford to the last atom of his being, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he inserted false memories or simply suppressed what good ones he had to twist Stan’s innate loyalty to his side.
Now, Evil Stan is not stupid. He knows Bill has messed with him, so sometimes he can’t help the intrusive thought: What was his original Ford like? He’s seen so many of them die that he can’t remember what was unique about his own.
He is, essentially, an unreliable narrator, even to himself.
He’s back.
I guess this counts as Stanuary week 2 art even though it’s quite old?

This is a very messy and sloppy patchwork of a Discord convo, I hope it’s somehow understandable.
AU where, after Bill’s demise, one of the Fords still roaming the universe finally manages to make his way back to his own universe. In a Gravity Falls where Stan has given up working on the portal a decade or so ago. Imagine Stan’s surprise when, one foggy evening like any other, someone knocks on the door and interrupts his The Duchess Approves marathon. Guess who’s the untimely visitor.

So the thing is after Stanley succeeded in killing Bill the bitch came back the very next day (jk) and he just like annoys the fuck out of him. Not that he WANTS to actually stay there, after death his soul (actually—does he even have one? Whatever.) was forbidden to leave Stanley’ side for the rest of eternity.
