There was so much angel symbolism around Blizo in this new episode. Separating some of it from Stolas, the golden feathers and staircase (staircase to heaven anyone?) are like huge symbols right off the bat. Then the x in place of his eye in Moxxie’s hallucination which we’ve seen the killer angels to have in Hazbin Hotel. Kind of Blizo’s outline matches a bit too with what we saw of angels in Hazbin Hotel. I know there’s like no way Blizo’s a fallen angel (though that would be some cool shit) but it’s interesting to see him with the angel/heaven symbolism. Adding in Stolas though and the staircase, that is still a big heaven-like scene to me. Possibly implying that Blizo holds Stolas to a god-like height.
Ello! Are there any life series/Hermitcraft fans who also watch Helluva Boss? Well if you are, there a meme of Jimmy where he would like order a pumpkin spice latte right. Well there's that one helluva boss episode (forget da name :P) where Blitzø and Moxxie are captured by the secret agents or whatever and they jokingly ask for coffee. THEN MOXXIE GOES ON THAT RANT ABOUT HIS COFFEE ORDER and uhh yeah. Js thought that was funny and Jimmy gives that energy.
I have seen some people complaining about how Stolas being part of the problem isn’t addressed in this episode.
Let me remind everyone, this is a Blitzø-centric episode.
Stolas isn’t the focus here, if he was, he probably wouldn’t be that drunk for the majority of the episode. While yes, he has a lot of screen time, most of it is dedicated to him acting as a catalyst for Blitzø to figure out his own internal problems.
It doesn’t mean they won’t address Stolas behavior and as we have seen before he is way more proactive and quick when it comes to fixing his behavior. Perhaps he won’t even need a whole episode dedicated to learning his lesson, but rather a conversation with Blitzø or some eye opening moments here and there.
Let’s be patient, this season isn’t over yet.
