Warriors World #2 - Clawface
Clawface is a scrawny, battle-scarred brown tom with yellow eyes. Before joining ShadowClan, he was a kittypet who went by the name of Moor. His mother, Sonya, would always tell him that he was named after the place she met their father seasons ago. Moor, alongside his brother Night, would listen to the tales Sonya told of their father: how he would visit every greenleaf to see her, how he spent time with the wild cats on the moor, and how he went on many adventures throughout his lifetime. Moor admired this mysterious tom, idolizing him to an extraordinary degree. Sonya always told her two sons that just before they were born, their father had promised to come back and take the two kits on adventures of their own. Moor eagerly awaited the day his father would return and he would finally be able to see the world he was so curious about.
“Boys, I need to talk to you… It’s about your father…”

What if when a cat dies and goes to starclan they get the scent of the season they died in mingled in with their normal scent.
And the dark forest cats get a sickniss from said season, winter comes greencough, constant coughing fits and chest pains from df cats who died in leaf bare. Greenleaf could have heat stroke. I'm not sure for the other seasons-- any ideas??

A concept that when Firepaw joined the clans, his collar burnt off in his battle with Longtail. His power is that he can shoot fire from his neck. And ya know how he always does that thing where he goes limp then jumps up at his attacker when they try to bit his throat? I was thinking that he would use his power to blind his enemy and get them off of him
Another idea I had was that the reason Brokenstar would make kits into warriors was so that they would get their powers young. He had thought that a cat had to be a warrior to get their special ability until word spread of how Firepaw had gotten his power before he was even an apprentice. This knowledge is what led to the deaths of Marigoldkit and Mintkit when Brokenstar had tried to unlock their power but ended up going too hard on them and killed them.
Mintkit’s power was that his blood would freeze and turn into sharp icicles. Marigoldkit got this cute lil flower tail

Redesign of warrior cat minis
okay so i don't like the warriors minis. I don't really hate them either, but they always felt really messy, cluttered, and inaccurate to me. But i also understand the cats need to be mass producible, since the franchise is so big, so i redesigned them using a base i made.
I might upload a video explaining every change in debth when im done with every set, but for now, the basics:
i traced the mini-maker stencil roughly and changed a few proportions, using the symmetry tool to keep patterns simple, unless the character patterns need to be different (like tawny). There are a few eyes and mouth differences for a variation of expressions, and i switched the second Jayfeather for Brokenstar. I also switched around the pairings for something more, logical.
For now i only have the first two sets done.
SET 1
Pair one: Firestar and Tigerstar.
The two famous leaders changed the clans around them for seasons and seasons to come. Firestar led the clans into a new age of tolerance and acceptance, while Tigerstar's rein still leaves scars in the clan's memory.
Pair two: Tawnypelt and Graystripe.
These two cats both struggled to find where their loyalties lie, leaving their original clan in search for a better life. While Tawnypelt found her home among the shadows, Graystripe decided he couldnt turn against his former friends.
Pair three: Jayfeather and Leafstar
These two cats may seem radically different on first glance, but they both share a calling for a greater destiny. When Leaf, a former rouge, was called apon to lead a brand new clan, she didnt let her anxiety come between her and her destiny! Jayfeather, simularly, set his sights on a warrior's glory, before his powers dragged him into a spiritual role he eventually saved the clans with.
SET 2
Pair one: Blackstar and Brokenstar
These two cats set their paws on the path of darkness when the clans still walked the forest. But while Brokenstar tormented the clans until his bitter end, Blackfoot was able to turn away at the last moment, leading shadowclan in peace for moons.
Pair two: Ravenpaw and Sandstorm
These two apprentices trained together in thunderclan, growing to be great hunters and growing close to their clanmates. While Ravenpaw had to leave due to a certain shadowy tormentor, Sandstorm would grow to be invaluable to her clan in leaf-bare, as the best hunter in the clan.
Pair three: Cinderpelt and Brightheart.
These two sisters were injured while serving their clan, and both fought with fears that they wouldnt be able to serve their clan. Despite this, they rose above their clanmates in terms of sheer determination and strength, becoming foundational cats to their clan!

Experimentation with lineart, colors, techniques etc. 😔
I think the pen I’m using for lineart makes my drawings feel more cartoony. I could also utilize line weight/sharpness more often. I’ll try again next time.
