Well...I have to say I know nothing about canon Combaticons and their gestalt, but I read The Combiner Quirks of the Combaticons by Gayrob0t today and this is so so good odktjfjfmfn I just had to draw at least one scene from it

Okay Random Combaticon idea
In the dragonformers au, The Combaticons are all actual brothers. Onslaught, Blast Off, and Brawl are all from a litter and Vortex and Swindle are from the second litter making them a year apart, but the idea with Bruticus is that he is their carrier instead of their combined form.
Not sure about the sire but Bruticus is the momther of these five boys.
Onslaught was the first to hatch in the first litter, making him like the eldest and Vortex was the first to hatch in his litter making Swindle the little Con-mech baby.
Bruticus is a grounder dragon, as is Brawl, Onslaught, and Swindle. Whoever the sire was for the two litters was a flyer, making Vortex and Blast Off flyers.
The line-art and underlying sketch off Dragonformer Bruticus, going with the idea that Bruticus is the Combaticons carrier, *coughcough* Momther. I hope to finish coloring him, then start working on the unknown sire of the Combaticons. Idk who he is, but- yeah XD
