"So, you actually met your soulmate last night?" Yuna asked, and you nodded.

"And even though he knew he was your soulmate, he still left?" Yeonjun asked, and you nodded again.

"Wow," Yuna muttered.

"Well, at least he got her number," Yeonjun said, causing Yuna to scoff.

"Yeah, but has he tried contacting her? I mean, he could've sent here her a text as soon as he got home, but the guy didn't, and he still hasn't."

You let out a sigh and closed your eyes. "Maybe the guy's busy? Did I not tell you he said he was famous?"

"Famous? Maybe your soulmate doesn't want to contact you because he's embarrassed? He probably lied to you since he didn't expect to ever see you again?" Yeonjun suggested, but you shook your head in disagreement.

"We found out we were soulmates when he gave me his phone to put my number in. I don't think he would've asked for my number if he had lied."

"You know his name, right?" Yuna asked, and you rolled your eyes. "You remember it, right?"

"Of course, I know his name," you huffed. "And even if I forgot, I'd just need to look at my shoulder for some memory."

"Yeah, yeah. Anyway, if the guy told you he was famous, why don't you try to google him?" Yuna said, digging into her backpack to retrieve her phone.

You were sitting in a cafe, telling them everything that happened before your soulmate ditched— no, left you alone.

Make It Three | Two

"I guess your friends were right. The club is the perfect place to look for your soulmate."

"I guess they were," you muttered. You couldn't believe their idea of looking for your soulmate in a club wasn't so stupid after all.

"As much as I want to stay here and keep talking to you, especially now that I know you're my soulmate, I can't."

You frowned. "What do you mean you can't?"

He raised his phone and shook it, reminding you of the call he received earlier. "I really have to go. I promise I'll contact you. You made sure this is the right number, right?" You nodded, causing a smile to grow on his masked face.

"But Jimin-"

"Great! I'll make sure to text you when I get the chance. Bye, y/n!"

"Jimin!" You exclaimed as you watched him disappear in the crowd of dancing people.

Your mouth fell open in shock. 'Did Jimin really leave? Just like that?'

"Well, that's a first," the bartender said, causing you to glare at him. "Sorry."

Make It Three | Two

"Found it! Now let's google this bitch. What did you say his name was again?" Yuna said, snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Huh?"

"I asked for his name, sweetheart," your friend said.

"Sorry. Jimin. His full name is Park Jimin," you told her, scratching your nape.

"No way! He said he was Park Jimin? I wonder if he's talking about the Park Jimin since he claimed he was famous."

'Claimed? Why was she making it seem like he actually lied to me and ran away?'

"Don't say he claimed as if he actually lied." You muttered.

This man was still your soulmate, whether he lied about being famous and who he was or not. But he could've been telling the truth... because the first name on your shoulder if you read going down, is Jimin.

"Do you know a famous Park Jimin?" Yeonjun asked, and Yuna hummed in response as she typed away on her phone.

"The Jimin I know is from the rising boy group, BTS. y/n said her soulmate said he was famous, and he did say his name was Park Jimin. So it's kinda easy to guess who he says he is."

"Anyway, y/n. Are you sure the guy's name is Jimin? Did you check your arm?" Yuna asked, causing you to groan in annoyance.

"Of couse I did, Yuna. Jimin is the first name on my shoulder."

"So y/n's soulmate could be some liar, or he could actually be famous," Yeonjun whispers.

"Bingo, Yeonie," Yuna said.

"Ah, here he is. y/n, look at these. Does this guy look familiar? Other than on billboards and shit."

You took the phone from her hand, and Yeonjun shifted his chair closer to you, peeping over your shoulder to get a look.

"Holy shit, he's beautiful," he muttered, and you silently agreed. Yeonjun was right.

Even though you didn't see his face, you knew the man in the picture was also the man you met yesterday. You also knew that this Jimin was your soulmate.

You didn't need to see a picture of him in a mask to figure that out. Just by looking at his eyes, you could tell. In the photo, he was smiling so brightly that his eyes disappeared. And you remembered how his eyes did the same whenever he laughed yesterday.

"He's my soulmate. I remember his eyes." You said, handing her the phone, and they both gasped.

"No fucking way," Yeonjun whispered while Yuna squealed, drawing attention to your table.

"Will you shut up? People are looking at us."

"I'm sorry, y/n, but I can't help it! I just found out that one of my bestie's soulmates is famous! Like the Park, Jimin is your soulmate!" Yuna said, almost exclaiming, causing Yeonjun to hiss at her.

"Shut it! We don't want people to know. Imagine how many fans might come for her once they find out? Let them find out when she's got his bodyguards protecting her."

'Bodyguards? Aren't this two over-exaggerating?'

"Is Jimin and his group that famous?" You asked, causing Yuna to gasp.

"Oh, honey, they are. You've probably listened to a lot of their songs without even knowing."

"Who would've thought that one of y/n's soulmates would be famous?" Yeonjun muttered.

'It's not one of them, Junnie. I believe all three of them are.'

You remembered Jimin talking about how he could find two of his soulmates so quickly because they were already in his group.

"And who would've thought Jimin could be a dick?" Yuna sighed, shaking her head.

"He's not a dick," you muttered.

"Uh, he kinda is. He did leave you semi-drunk and alone in a club, even after knowing you were his soulmate. That's a pretty dick move if you ask me."

"He was in a rush. He had somewhere he needed to be," you said, trying to defend him, but it didn't seem like any of them were having it.

"He's still kind of a dick, y/n. He should've checked in on you when he was done his business—"

"Well, what if he finished late?"

"—or he should've checked in on you this morning."

"Come on, guys. We just found out he's a k-pop idol. He might have a busy schedule."

You really didn't understand why they seemed to be so bothered by Jimin's actions last night when you weren't.

Your friends seemed to pick up that you didn't want to talk about him any longer, so the topic of the conversation quickly changed.

You felt a sudden buzz coming from your back pocket, causing you to take it out and view the notification.

new message from unknown contact! 2m ago

Your brows furrowed in confusion before clicking on it.

-

unknown: hey, is this y/n?

y/n: yes, may I know who this is?

unknown: i’m so sorry for not contacting you earlier. it’s jimin :)

Make It Three | Two

You looked at his now saved contact on your phone with a smile.

"Why are you suddenly smiling at your phone like that?" Yuna asked, eyeing you weirdly.

"Jimin texted me."

"Really? What did he say?" Yeonjun asked, peering over your shoulder as he tried to look at your screen.

"He apologised for not texting me sooner. What should I say?"

"Tell him it's okay and ask how he's doing! Do that!" Yeonjun suggested.

"No! It's not okay. This guy left you at a club, alone and semi-drunk, even after knowing you were one of his soulmates. And he didn't bother texting you until now," Yuna huffed, crossing her arms.

"But… he apologised," you muttered, looking back at you pone.

"Yeah, but-" Yeonjun cut Yuna off with an over-exaggerated sigh.

"Come on, Yuna. Let y/n tell him it's okay so that they can conversate. She needs to bond with her soulmate." He turned to you and smiled. "Now, tell him it's okay, and ask how he's doing."

-

you: hey, jimin. it’s okay don’t worry about it.

jimin: that’s good😅. i was lowkey worried you’d be mad at me.

you: don’t worry, i’m not! anyway, how are you?

jimin: i’m good, just a little tired from practice.

you: oh, i hope you’re not overworking yourself

jimin: you’re already worried about me? that makes me happy :)

-

Your friends looked at each other when they saw you bite your lip, fighting back a smile.

"Oh, you're blushing. Did Jimin say something sweet?" Yeonjun asked.

"Uh, he told me he was practising, right?"

"Right…" they said together, growing curious.

"And, uh… I told him I hoped he wasn't overworking himself," you told them.

"And what did he say?" Yuna asked, growing impatient.

"He said it makes him happy. That's I'm already worried about him," you finished.

"That's why you're blushing?" She asked in disbelief.

"What? I think it's cute. It reminds me of how I was when I first found Mingyu," Yeonjun smiled, causing you to cringe as you remembered how he acted at the beginning of his relationship.

"Ew, I don't want to be like how you were when you first found your soulmate."

"Well, good luck with that, love. You have three soulmates. I know… for a fact, you're going to be three times worse than I was," Yeonjun chuckled.

You rolled your eyes and looked back at the screen. 'Shit, I've been leaving Jimin on read.'

-

jimin: y/n?

jimin: why are you leaving me on read? ://

jimin: is it because of what i said?

jimin: y/n, are you still there?

y/n: sorry, my friends distracted me for a bit.

jimin: you’re with your friends?

y/n: yeah.

jimin: i’m not disturbing anything, right? 🧍‍♂️

y/n: not at all, we’re just chilling until we have our next lectures.

jimin: oh yeah, you’re a student.

y/n: yep, and you’re an idol.

jimin: so you don’t think i’m lying?

y/n: my friend did, until we googled you.

jimin: you guys googled me? 🤣

y/n: uh, yeah 😅

jimin: how do you know the person you googled was me? i’m pretty sure i kept my mask up the whole time.

y/n: your eyes. i kinda used my memory of your eyes as confirmation.

jimin: really? 👀

y/n: yeah. i hope you don’t find it weird. 🧍‍♀️ your eyes were just so captivating.

jimin: i don’t find it weird at all, don’t worry. and thank you 🤍

"Who are you talking to, hm?" Jimin looked up from his phone to see his soulmates walking toward him.

"Yeah, you only smile like that when you're talking to us," one grumbled, sitting next to Jimin. "And I know you're not texting one of us right now."

"Don't get jealous or anything like that, Tae," Jimin chuckled. "I'm talking to our other soulmate."

"Really?" Taehyung asked, and Jimin hummed in response.

The two males peered over their soulmate's shoulder, growing curious as they tried to read the text conversation.

"Did you apologise for leaving her like that? Don't forget you left her alone when she was kinda drunk and shit," Taehyung asked, remembering what Jimin had told him yesterday when he got home.

"You should've told the manager you had just met your soulmate. I know what you were needed for was important, but I'm sure he wouldn't have minded," the other frowned. "Imagine how she felt watching her soulmate leave just after meeting her."

"I know, and I felt horrible in the car, Kook. I was so close to asking the driver to turn around and take me back just so I could talk to her some more," Jimin sighed. "I haven't apologised for leaving her like that, but I did for not texting her sooner. The next time I see her in person, I'll apologise."

"You better," he warned before resting his chin on Jimin's shoulder. "Now tell us what's she like. You didn't tell us much about her yesterday."

"Well, Kook, she's beautiful, like so beautiful. And not only is she gorgeous, but our soulmate is adorable too. Well, tipsy her is adorable." Jimin giggled, remembering how you were acting yesterday.

"We've been searching for so long, and I'm so happy you found her yesterday," Taehyung whispered. "Now, I can't wait to meet her."

"You two will meet her soon," Jimin placed a soft kiss on the side of their heads.

"Come on, guys. Practice proceeds in five!" One of the other members called, causing Jimin to frown. He wanted to talk to you more.

-

jimin: as much as i'd love to talk for longer, i can’t. i need to get back to practice.

you: that’s okay. my class in ten minutes, anyway

jimin: i’ll talk to you later then :)

you: later it is :)

Make It Three | Two

"Jimin had to go back to practice," you sighed, turning off your phone with a slight pout.

"Going to be three times worse than I was," Yeonjun sang, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Shut it, will you?" You groaned, crossing your arms.

"By the way, did you talk to Jimin about your other soulmates? Has he found any of them? Or do you need to search for the rest? If he hasn't, I would love to take you to a bar this time-"

"There will be no need to take me to a bar, Yuna. Jimin has already found them. Both of them." Both of their eyes widened.

"Really? You're so lucky you don't have to search for them!" Yeonjun exclaimed.

"Yeah, he told me they're in his group. So he found out on their birthdays," you told them.

"His members? Oh my God, y/n," Yuna gasped.

"What?"

"You said your soulmate names were, um… what the fuck were their names again?" Yuna asked, causing you to giggle.

"Jungkook, and Taehyung."

"Yes! Them! I know Jungkook's part of BTS, but I'm not entirely sure about Taehyung."

"What do you mean you're not entirely sure. Jimin said they were in his group," Yeonjun said, causing Yuna to sigh.

"He could've meant friend group as well because, as far as I know, I don't remember a Taehyung being in BTS," she said.

"Stage names, love. What if one of the members with a stage name's real name is Taehyung?" Yeonjun did have a point.

"Ugh, just google them when you have time, sweetie. Don't you two have to go to have a Criminal Law lecture to attend?"

Your eyes widened, and you quickly turned on your phone to look at the time.

"Shit, we have five minutes to get there," you muttered.

You and Yeonjun began to pack your things while Yuna laughed.

"Bye, you two. We can discuss y/n's soulmates later."

Alright, so the names are Jungkook and Taehyung, right?" Yeonjun asked, and you nodded. "And what's the name of the group Jimin's part of?"

"BTS. I think…" you said, and he hummed in response before he began to type in their names.

"Jungkook, BTS…" He muttered before he pressed search.

You anxiously bit your lip as the search results slowly began to show. You didn't know what to expect.

"Okay, so apparently, he's turning twenty-six this year! It says he's about 1,79m tall, and his full name is Jeon Jungkook," Yeonjun read. "And oh my gosh, are those real?"

You shifted closer to Yeonjun and rested your chin on his shoulder so you could look at his phone.

"He's so handsome, oh my gosh. The tattoos, the piercings, oh my," Yeonjun gasped as he scrolled through the many pictures that appeared once he clicked on images.

In some pictures, he looked like a bad boy straight out of a teen romance movie, mask up, dressed in all black and chunky shoes. Not to mention his sleeve of tattoos and multiple piercings. And in others, where he wore a simple hoodie and sweatpants with a backpack on his back, he looked like a typical student.

The man had pretty doe eyes, and in the photos where he wasn't wearing a mask and could see his smile, his smile that reminded you of a bunny.

When he's dressed in brighter colours and his sleeve of tattoos is covered, Jungkook's entire appearance screams adorable. Until you see other pictures of him. You'll realise that despite his round face, he had a sharp jawline, and suddenly he isn't so adorable.

"Your soulmates were blessed with looks. If Taehyung is this handsome… girl, the universe favours you," Yeonjun commented before tapping the search bar to type in the other name on your shoulder.

The two of you were in the student lounge, using google to find out about your other soulmates while waiting for Yuna's photography lecture to end.

"Now, let's see if Taehyung is part of BTS or just Jimin's friend group," Yeonjun said. "Taehyung. BTS… and search!"

Again, you were nervous because you didn't know what to expect.

"Okay, so his name is V… but it says it's just his stage name!" he told you. "His real name is Kim Taehyung, around the same height as Jungkook, and he's turning twenty-eight," he read before clicking on images to see what he looked like.

"Holy shit… is this man even real," he gasped as he scrolled through the images.

Your eyes widened when you looked at one of the pictures.

The man's visual screamed royalty. His piercing eyes, sharp jaw and angular features reminded you of a cold prince. In some of the pictures you saw, he had a stern and mysterious look, and if you hadn't seen a picture of him smiling, you definitely would have thought he was a cold person.

In the pictures where he was smiling, Taehyung's rectangular smile was bright. And like Jimin, his eyes seemed to disappear when he smiled.

"Holy shit, he's just as beautiful as the other two-" Yeonjun muttered as he stared at one of the pictures. "The universe favours you. Like, how are all three of these handsome guys yours?"

"Actually, we don't know that yet. My soulmates Jungkook and Taehyung could be different from this Jungkook and Taehyung." Your friend rolled his eyes at your words.

"Oh, come on, y/n. I can google Taehyung without putting BTS, and the same guy will show up."

"He might not be famous," you mumbled. It was hard for you to believe that all three of these men could… well, be your soulmates.

"What are you two talking about?" You and Yeonjun glanced over your shoulders around to see Yuna.

"Hey, Yuna. We're talking about y/n's other soulmates and looking at pictures of them," Yeonjun told her before looking back at his phone.

"Really? So did you find out if Taehyung's part of BTS?" she asked as she made her way to the seat next to yours.

"Yeah, he is. Also, because of what you said earlier, y/n doesn't want to believe that these two handsome guys are her soulmates," Yeonjun told her.

"Why don't you ask Jimin? I'm sure he'll give you the answer you're looking for," Yuna suggested, and he hummed in agreement.

"Why don't you do that? It's not like he can say no. Those guys are your soulmates, too," Yeonjun said.

Unbeknownst to you, your soulmates were having a conversation similar to yours.

"Do you think y/n's curious about us? Like what we look like and stuff?" Jungkook asked as he closed the now-empty water bottle

"I don't know, but I think she is. She's probably googled, you guys. Just like she did with me," Jimin chuckled.

"I wish y/n was an idol or something, so we could just google her too. I want to know what she looks like." Taehyung softly whined as he rested his head on Jimin's shoulder.

"We should add y/n to the group chat," Jungkook said. "I don't think I'' be able to wait until we meet in person to talk to her."

"So you want to text her first?" Jimin asked, and Jungkook nodded. "You don't want to call her anything like that? A video call, so can she see your faces?"

"I feel like a call would be awkward," Taehyung muttered. "Unlike you, we've never talked to the woman."

"Yeah…" Jungkook sighed. "I feel like we should connect with each other over text first. I don't want her to see me like this."

The three soulmates had just finished practising choreography and were taking a break.

"I think you look hot, though," Jimin joked. "I'm sure y/n wouldn't mind seeing you like this."

"But I do mind," Jungkook whined. "It's the first time she'll be seeing me. I can't let her see me like this…"

"I agree with Jungook. It's too early for y/n to see us like this," Taehyung chuckled before opening a bottle of water and taking a sip.

"Okay. I'll add y/n to the group chat," Jimin told them before opening his phone to add you to their exclusive soulmate group chat.

Make It Three | Three

You looked at your phone with wide eyes before excitedly trying to show one of your friends your screen.

"What? For me to see your screen, you'll have to stop shaking it in my face," Yuna sighed before taking your phone from your hand.

"What is it?" Yeonjun asked, trying to look at what you wanted to show them.

"Looks like y/n's going to interact with her other soulmates."

"Really? What did Jimin say?" He asked with his eyes slightly opened wide. "He added her to a group chat called Corei3 and sent a text saying that they, which I'm guessing are her other soulmates, to somewhat introduce themselves. And now an unknown number is typing." Yuna explained.

"What are you doing? Give y/n her phone back so she can talk to them!"

-

jimin has added you to: corei3

jimin: you two can somewhat introduce yourselves or whatever.

unknown(1): lemme change the name first since it’s no longer the three of us.

unknown changed the name to corei4

unknown(1): now i can introduce myself. hi, i’m jk!

unknown(2): we’re introducing ourselves to our soulmate, not some people in the crowd of people at our interviews 🤦‍♂️

unknown(2): i’m taehyung by the way. kim taehyung.

unknown(1): jk stands for jungkook which is me. i’m jeon jungkook.

you: i think you guys already know who i am.

taehyung: you could say we kind of do. we know your name and your age, just not what you like.

jungkook: only jimin knows what you look like :(

jimin: i don’t think y/n know what you two look like either.

you: i do know what they look like because i kind of googled them too 😅

jungkook: hoping you didn’t come across any of my old embarrsing pics 😩

you: out of all the pictures i saw, i don’t think any of them are embarrassing. you looked good in each one. including taehyung.

jungkook: o///o

Make It Three | Three

"Why are they all staring at their phones like that? And Jungkook's all red in the face, too," one of the members commented, cringing as he watched their younger members.

"Didn't you hear, Yoongi? Jimin found their last soulmate while he was out one night," another told him. "So, I guess they're talking to her right now. I mean… we've only ever seen them smile like that with each other."

"I hope I don't look or act the same when I find my soulmate," Yoongi muttered, shaking his head.

"I honestly feel like you're going to be ten times worse than they are," The leader said with a chuckle.

"Nah, nothing can beat whatever the fuck that is. We're witnessing a lovesick soulmate but times three."

Make It Three | Three

"How are her cheeks not sore? She's been staring at her phone with that stupid smile for the past fifteen minutes," Yuna said, causing Yeonjun sighed.

"You wouldn't understand what she's feeling right now, Yuns. You haven't found your soulmate yet."

-

core.i4 groupchat

jungkook: now we know what we look like, and y/n knows who’s who, let’s go out or something 😩

jimin: you do realise going out will be hard for us, right? no one outside of the company knows we’re soulmates, imagine if they catch us with a girl?

taehyung: we can just say she’s a friend? i mean it’s not like we’re going out as just me and her or just jungkook and her. it’s all three of us going out with her.

jimin: fine, but we need to ask one of the managers first. we might need to book out a place too, and make sure y/n’s pretty covered up.

you: why? 🧍‍♀️

jimin: i can’t afford to have you exposed to the public so soon.

jungkook: life as an idol is tough. people are almost always in our business. if anyone gets a glimpse of you with one of us… you’ll be all over the internet in a couple of hours.

taehyung: right… i didn’t think of that.

you: so… we won’t be able to go out?

jimin: we can still meet up… it’s just going to have be an indoor date.

taehyung: something we’re used to.

jungkook: i think we can still have an outside date! we’ll just have to be cautious.

jimin: i managed to go to a club yesterday without getting caught. being able to go to a restaurant will be easy.

taehyung: don’t forget you’re not going in and out alone. you’re going in and out with three people. two men and a woman. 🧍‍♂️

jungkook: slipping in and out won’t be an easy task, my love.

jimin: we’ll make a plan 😭

-

"What're you guys talking about?" Yeonjun asked as he tried to peek over your shoulder.

"Jungkook wants us to go out," you told them. "But it's going to be tricky since they're famous, and them being seen with me could cause problems."

"So, are you just going to have an indoor meeting?" Yuna asked, and you shrugged.

"Jimin says they're gonna make a plan, but I don't know…"

"This is why I lowkey wish my soulmate isn't famous. Or at least, isn't a kpop idol because I know how ruthless the fans can be," Yuna sighed, shaking her head, which caused you to frown.

"Are their fans that scary?" You asked, and she nodded.

"Very. Well… the delusional ones who think the idol shouldn't be allowed to date anyone else but them," Yuna explained.

"People actually think that? In a world where your partner is determined by the soulmate system?" Yeonjun asked, sounding as equally shocked as you are. She hummed in response.

"Yep, they can get dragged and cancelled for falling in love if the fans are insane enough. But don't worry, not all the fans like that. Many fans know their place, and some even route for their idols to find love," she said.

Yuna managed to answer your silent question about whether all of their fans were like that.

"I don't know much about your soulmates' fandom, but I'm sure majority of them are chill. I mean, I've only bumped into one or two crazy ones. The rest were cool. But then again, I haven't met a lot of BTS stans."

"So those guys are right for wanting to take any precautions. Wait, but does anyone know that they're soulmates?" Yeonjun asked, and Yuna shook her head.

"Not that I'm aware. I don't remember seeing any articles or posts about the members' soulmates when I looked into the group. Meaning y/n, the members, and probably some staff know about the three being in a cluster."

"And us. We know that too. Wait, OMG, I just realised I have to keep such a huge secret! Oh… but that means y/n can't let other people know who her soulmates are," Yeonjun said, causing you to sigh.

"To be honest… I don't think I mind," you told them. "Sure, it would be nice to go out publicly and post about them like I've always wanted to, but I don't mind."

You were just happy to have found them.

"I'd rather be with them in secret than not be with them at all," you smiled.

You looked at the time and sighed. "I need to catch the bus. I have to go home since I have an assignment to finish."

"Right," Yuna said, getting up. "I need to meet some people in my cinematography class for a group project."

"So we're all just going home?" Yeonjun asked, and the two of you nodded. "Alright."

"See you two tomorrow!"

Make It Three | Three

"I feel bad y/n has to keep us a secret," Taehyung muttered while Jimin groaned, running his fingers through his hair. "Even though we have to hide our relationship, at least I can be seen in public with both of you."

"As much as I love my job and our fans, sometimes I wish I wasn't an idol. Sometimes I wish I was a regular person who wasn't part of a popular boy group."

"Same here," Jungkook said, closing his eyes. " I wouldn't have to hide the actual kind of relationship we have. I'd peacefully go out without worrying whether dispatch might see me."

"Hey, but at least we got permission to go out with her," Taehyung said.

The three members came from a meeting with some of the managers and told them about you, their last soulmate.

"I know. Even though avoiding the public eye will be difficult, I can't wait to go out as a complete cluster of soulmates," Jungkook said, happily clapping his hands.

"What do you think you wanna do, though? Should we have a typical first-date dinner? Go to an amusement park and have the kind of date you see in romance movies?" Jimin asked.

"Let's ask y/n. I mean, the girl is the reason we're going out, right?" Taehyung said.

-

taehyung: y/n~ you there? 👀

jungkook: we have something to ask you!

jimin: we got permission to take you out and we wanna know where you’d like to go.

taehyung: and what kind of date you’d like to have.

jungkook: a formal dinner date or got to out to an amusement park? or even something more fun?

y/n: i’m not the kind of person who enjoys going to fancy dinners and that kind of stuff, but how will be able to go to an amusement park? they’ll be too many people 🧍‍♀️

jungkook: we can book it out or something.

jimin: yeah, as if the managers would let us do that.

jungkook: it’s our money we’re spending though.

jimin: yeah but that’s a lot of work. too much work when it’s just going to be four of us. Plus, it’ll also just ruin the whole amusement experience it’s the only the four of us who go there.

taehyung: you’re the one who brought up the idea of going to an amusement park, though 🧍‍♂️

jimin: i didn’t think it through, shut up👨‍🦯

jungkook: since you don’t like fancy dinner where would you like to go?

y/n: how about an arcade? i haven’t been to one in a minute.

jungkook: i love playing games so why not?

jimin: an arcade is definitely easier to book out.

taehyung: but what about food? are we just going to play games? :(

jungkook: no, we can probably get some street food if we want something to eat.

y/n: ooo, i love street food. 😋

jimin: you guys are forgetting the whole avoid public eye thing. 🤦‍♂️

taehyung: to be honest, i kind of want to be around people.

jungkook: lowkey same… 🤸‍♂️

y/n: i’m used to be being around people 😅

jimin: fine, we might as well as go to an arcade without booking out the place since you guys want to be around people so bad 🚶‍♂️

taehyung: but will they allow us?

jungkook: we’ll just have to beg.

jimin: and if they do agree, we’re going to have to make sure we’re pretty disguised but not too much. we need to blend in after all.

y/n: so, we’re going to an arcade?

taehyung: that’s the plan

y/n: okay, when are we going and where should we meet?

jungkook: most likely thursday, it will be a weekday so they won’t be that many people and we’re pretty much free on that day.

taehyung: and just send us your location, we’ll pick you up.

y/n: uh sure. xxxxxxxxxxx

jungkook: wait that’s not so far from our personal house.

jimin: he’s right. it’s like a ten minute away from ours?

y/n: personal house?

taehyung: it’s an apartment where just the three of us live. the rest of them members live in the main house one or with their soulmates.

y/n: oh, your other members have found their soulmates?

jungkook: just namjoon, actually. but yeah.

jimin: anyway, is everyone okay with thursday, from 5 pm to around 8 pm? i don’t to send y/n home late and we have a busy schedule the day after.

y/n: yeah, that seems perfect to me.

jungkook: yeah, that’s fine.

taehyung: that’s perfect.

jimin: great. see you tomorrow

Make It Three | Three

"Looks like I have a date with my soulmates tomorrow," you told your friends as you turned off your phone.

"So they made a plan?" Yeonjun asked, causing Yuna to roll her eyes.

"y/n just told us her date is tomorrow. So if they're going on a date, doesn't that automatically mean they made a plan?"She asked.

"Jeez, sorry," your friend scoffed. "Anyway, is it a formal or casual date? And- wait, since your relationship has to remain a secret, will your soulmates book out a whole restaurant or something? I heard that's a thing famous people do."

"One question at a time, Yeonie. Give the poor girl a chance to speak," Yuna said.

Yeonjun muttered a soft apology as you chuckled.

"I'd say casual since we're going to an arcade," you said.

"Arcade? Are they actually going to book out an arcade?" Yeonjun asked with wide eyes.

"At first… they were, but Taehyung and Jungkook wanted to go out and be around people. And I don't really mind," you told them. "You know… since I'm used to being in public places without having to hide."

"Ah, it's the kind of date I've seen kids in high school teen romance movies! Omg, that's super cute!" Yeonjun squealed.

"If I lived the kind of life they did, I would want to be around some people other than my members and staff too. Anyway, so tomorrow is the day, right?"

You hummed in response.

"Great, so we have enough time to find an outfit for you then," Yuna said.

"I hope you don't think you're going to be the one to pick out an outfit for her," Yeonjun said, causing your friend to scoff. "And why not?"

"With the way you dress, there's no way I'm going to let you pick out something for y/n."

"Really? What makes you think y/n would be better off with someone who dresses like you as her stylist?" Yuna asked.

"Someone like me? What's that supposed to mean?"

"I'm not going to deny that you dress in many different styles, but you dress in your dark street style the most, Yeonjun. Dark colours, oversized clothes and fucking stompers. y/n is going on a date for the first time. She's trying to end up in one of those fashion in japan tiktoks."

"You're one to talk," Yeonjun scoffed. "You dress the complete opposite of the way to act. You act so cold, mean and boring, but then dress like a unicorn decided to empty its stomach on you. Make that make sense."

You couldn't help but chuckle as they continued to quarrel.

"Guys… you know I'm capable of picking an outfit for myself, right?" You asked, and both of them scoffed.

"Yeah, there's no way we're letting you do that. You have the worst fashion sense," Yuna said, and Yeonjun hummed in agreement.

"I agree. We can't have you go out looking like the basic bitch you like every day."

"Hey!"

"Damn, we did a good job, didn't we?" Yeonjun asked, examining your figure, and Yuna hummed in response.

"Fuck yeah. Your soulmates are going to fold when they see you."

"Why are you guys are acting as if you dressed me in some fancy clothing and shit like that?" You asked with a chuckle.

Thursday had come. Meaning today, you'd see Jimin again and meet your other soulmates.

"You look good, babe," Yeonjun told you. "Is it wrong for us to hype you up?" Yeonjun asked.

You shook your head and smiled. "Thanks, you guys."

"Anyway, when are your soulmates going to come and pick you up?" Yuna asked, looking at the clock sitting on your pedestal.

"Anytime from now. It's almost five, right?" Yuna hummed in response. "It's like three minutes till five. So you two finished just in time."

"How are you feeling? Nervous? Excited? Both?" Yeonjun asked, fixing your hair.

"Mix of both. I'm super excited, but I'm also feeling super nervous," you sighed, playing with one of the rings on your finger. "But you two seem more excited them I am."

"How could we not be excited for you? I can't believe our little y/n is already going on her first date!" Yuna said, causing you to send her a playful glare.

"I'm older than you," you warned.

"So? I said little y/n, not younger y/n," she said, rolling her eyes.

"Hey, watch-" You were cut off by a knocking on your door. "No way they're already here," you muttered, causing Yeonjun to giggle.

"Seems like they're just as excited as you were. They couldn't wait, huh?"

And your friend was right. Your soulmates couldn't wait.

"Why did we get ready so early?" Jimin muttered, looking up at your apartment building through the tinted window. "We're here twenty minutes before the time we're supposed to be."

"And whose fault is that?" Jungkook muttered, causing the older male to glare at him.

"Don't blame this all on me. You were just eager to leave the house as we were," Jimin said.

"It's better to be early than late," Taehyung told them. "Although we're going to look a little excited… it's whatever."

"Let's go up five minutes before the time, okay?" Jimin said.

"No, we can't do that. We're going to be at y/n's door after five," Jungkook whispered. "Then our early arrival is going to be pointless.

"Ten minutes before?" Taehyung asked. "Yeah, ten minutes before."

The guys waited outside your door for five minutes before Jungkook knocked on your apartment door.

"Why did you knock at exactly five?" Taehyung whispered-yelled, and he shrugged.

"I don't know!"

Jimin shook his head. "We-"

"Well, hello, gentlemen." The three males turned to the door with wide eyes. They expected to see you, but instead, they were greeted by a girl who looked nothing like you.

"Uh…" Jungkook said.

"You don't think y/n gave us the wrong address, right? Are you sure the text said apart 276?" Taehyung whispered to Jimin.

"Don't worry, you guys knocked on the right door. Hi, my name is Yuna, one of y/n's best friends," she introduced herself before stepping aside. "And this Yeonjun, her other bestie."

"Damn, even though you're masked up, you guys look even better in real life," Yeonjun said, eyeing the men at the door.

"Uh, hello," Jungkook said, giving them an awkward wave.

"Junnie, you've got a lovely soulmate waiting for you at home," you told him as you squeezed past their bodies. "Will you please move? Oh my gosh?"

"What're you doing? We were supposed to step aside and let you walk towards the door. The entire point was to reveal you-"

"Yeah, yeah. That's too extra. This is not a movie scene where the leading actress gets a whole slow-mo walk as her outfit for her date is revealed," you grumbled before turning to face your soulmates.

"So-" you cut yourself off as soon as you looked at them. The guys looked good. Like… really good.

Although they were dressed in all black, they dressed differently from each other.

Jungkook wore a sweatshirt, baggy sweatpants, chunky sneakers and a black cap.

Taehyung wore a polar neck, trench coat, pants, dress shoes and a beret.

Jimin wore a long sleeve t-shirt, a leather jacket, skinny jeans, dress shoes and glasses. He was dressed similarly to the way he was when you first met him.

"It's a good thing we decided to go with dark colours with this outfit," Yeonjun whispered to Yuna, who silently agreed.

"Hi…" you breathed once you snapped out of your slight trance.

"Awe, look at her," Yuna cooed. "She's so memorised she can't say anything else.

You wanted to glare at Yuna, but you kept your composure.

"It's nice to see you again, y/n," Jimin said.

"Yeah, funny how this is the second time we meet in person, and I see you're still in your mask," you chuckled.

"Yeah… we'll remove our masks when we're alone in the car," he told you.

"Wait, do they know we are?" Jungkook suddenly asked, referring to your two friends.

"Of course we do."

"As in who we are?" Jungkook asked again, emphasising the part "who we are".

"Yeah, we know exactly who you three are," Yuna told them with a smile.

"These two googled you guys with me," you told them.

"Ah, I'm guessing they're the two who convinced you to go to the club to find me?" Jimin asked, and you nodded.

"Yes, sir~" Yuna sang, causing you to playfully roll your eyes.

"Alright, let us not keep you any longer. Please bring our y/n back on time and- Ow, what the fuck, Yuna?"

"Stop sounding like one of her dads," she hissed. "Anyways, you guys… just keep her safe, alright? Have fun but remember to be cautious of who might have their eyes on you."

"Don't worry. We will."

Make It Three | Four

"You can take off your mask, y/n. The windows are tinted, so it's okay," Taehyung said before sliding the door closed.

Jungkook sat with you at the back while Jimin and Taehyung took the two seats in front.

"We're heading to G-Plex first," Jimin said, starting the car. "I hope you don't mind that we decided to do the games and stuff first. We figured it's better to eat after."

"No, it's okay. I had some food not too long, so I don't think I'll feel hungry soon."

"Ah, that's good then," Jimin nodded. "Anyway, tell us about your day?"

"Mmm, it's been pretty uneventful so far. I mean, I did the same thing I do almost daily."

"Ooh, and what's that?" Taehyung asked.

"Wake up, go to school, attend lessons, eat lunch, attend more lectures, go home, study, and sleep. Well… I didn't study today because I'm here with you three."

"Are we taking away your study time?" You quickly shook your head.

"No, not at all!" You said. "I study so much because I don't have much to do. Yeonjun and Yuna sometimes come over but rarely stay the night."

"By the way, your friends seem interesting," Jimin said. "Those two are opposites, right? I'm only asking because the girl was dressed in bright colours while the guy was dressed in dark colours."

"They are opposites. Not only are their styles different, but their personalities too. It makes me wonder how those two even became friends," you giggled, thinking of the day Yeonjun dragged a whiney Yuna to your lunch table.

While you were talking to the other two, Jungkook was admiring you. He couldn't help but think about how beautiful you were.

'Pictures don't do you justice,' he thought, remembering how long he spent looking at a selfie you sent them when they added you to the group chat.

"You're so pretty, y/n," he suddenly said, surprising you.

Your cheeks turned pink, and you bit your bottom lip to prevent a shy smile from growing.

"You look cute when you blush, too," Taehyung chuckled.

You mumbled a soft thank you before turning away and looking out the window.

"You guys can't be making her flustered already." Jimin couldn't help but chuckle when you cleared your throat and watched you steal glances at them. "But you're right. y/n does look pretty cute."

You playfully huffed before putting on your mask to hide your almost-red face.

"Awe, come on. Why are you hiding your face?" Jungkook whined. "I just told you were pretty! So there's no reason to hide it."

"Yeah! It'll be hidden for a lot of the night. Can't you let us admire you when we still have the chance?" Taehyung asked with a pout.

'This is going to be a long evening,' you thought.

Make It Three | Four

"Alright, everyone. Masks on and caps down or hats down," Jimin said, pulling down his cap once the car was parked.

"For a Thursday night, this place looks busier than I thought it'd be," Jungkook muttered as he looked out the window. "Maybe we should've rented out the place."

"It's too late for that, now. Don't stress, guys. We'll be fine!" Taehyung chuckled. 'At least I think so.'

"Alright, G-Plex isn't a long distance for here. We're going to play some games and then eat. If we still have time, we can do something else, but I doubt we will," Jimin said.

"Let's go!" Taehyung said before opening the car door and hopping out.

"Unfortunately, the only parking spot available is a bit far from G-Plex," Jimin sighed, pulling down a cap he put on in the car. "So we'll have to walk and try not to get recognised."

"So we need to fit in, right?" Jungkook asked, also pulling down his cap.

You sighed and shook your head. 'These men don't know anything about fitting in.'

You stood in front of Jimin before gently pulling up his cap. "Having it this low will make you look suspicious, and then you'll stand out even more."

"So…"

"Be a bit natural, guys," you chuckled, turning to fix Jungkook's cap too. "Being in all black, mask up to your eyes and cap down to your nose, and you're bound to get noticed."

"So, should they ditch the caps?" Taehyung asked, and you shook your head.

"They just shouldn't wear them like that," you smiled. "There we go. We can go now."

"I don't remember the last time I went out like this," Jungkook said. "It's a weekday, but they're so many people out."

"Well, it's almost six," Jimin said. "People are going home from work, and students are probably coming from their extra lessons."

The four of you began to walk to G-PLEX, and you eventually arrived.

"This seems to be a hotspot for school kids," you muttered as you looked around the place. There were a couple of adults, but most people standing in front of the games were dressed in school uniforms.

"You've never been here before?" Jungkook asked, and you shook your head. "Nope. I've been to many other arcades, just not this one."

"If you come here on weekends, it's filled with more adults than kids. You could say it's a hotspot for kids on weekdays, but during the weekend, the grownups come," Taehyung told you.

"Let's get tokens, shall we?" Jimin said, and the four of you walked over to the machine to get your game tokens. "How many should we buy?"

"A lot. We'll be here for a while, right?" Jungkook asked.

While Jimin paid for the tokens, you turned to look around the place.

You liked arcades. They seemed to radiate happiness and good vibes with the neon LED lights and the sounds that came from the games. The distant chatter, the sound of whines when a game is lost, or the shouting and cheering when one is won.

Despite how loud it was, everything in here made you happy. And you felt happier because you were here with your soulmates.

"Alright, now that we have enough tokens to last us an hour or two, what do you guys wanna do first?" Jimin asked, looking at the plastic tubs full of tokens.

"Claw machines?" Taehyung said.

"And waste a bunch of tokens trying to get a stuffed animal?" Jungkook asked, taking a tub from Jimin. "Maybe when we're about to leave and are trying to finish the tokens."

"y/n… what do you want to do first?" Taehyung asked.

"Hm… how about I challenge you guys to a dance-off?" You said, looking at the Dance Dance Revolution machine. "We can do a couple of rounds. Whoever wins each match will verse the winner of the other one until we have an ultimate winner."

"Will that be fair, though? We dance almost daily," Jungkook asked with a smirk, causing you to playfully roll your eyes.

"There's a difference between proper and professional dancing and this. May the best man win."

Make It Three | Four

"You dance on a daily, hey?" You joked as they glared at you. "Told you this was different from your guys dancing."

The final match was between you and Jungkook, and in the end, you won.

"You have experience in this, don't you?" Taehyung huffed, causing you to giggle.

"Maybe," you shrugged with a smile. You had a fair share of visiting arcades and playing this game in particular.

"Let's play something else," Jimin exclaimed. "How about some shooting or fighting games? Or some other two-player games?"

"Some other games," Jungkook said. "And it doesn't have to be two-player games. We can play that basketball game or that game where we try to knock those things down."

"We can play every game if you want," Taehyung smiled. "But let's start there!"

Make It Three | Four

"Pull down your mask for a second. Let's snap a quick selfie," Jimin said, eyeing your surroundings. There weren't many people around, and luckily those who were didn't pay attention to you or the boys.

All of you had slightly pulled down your masks. Jungkook linked his arms with Jimin while Taehyung wrapped an arm around your shoulder and pulled you closer before he held up a peace sign.

It wasn't like he was embracing you, but you felt your beat quicken because of the sudden closeness. Despite being with them the entire time, you never got physically close to them. Well, until now.

"Is this okay?" Taehyung whispered, snapping you out of your thoughts. "Huh? Y-yeah… it's okay."

"Everyone smile!" Jimin softly sang before snapping a pic. "I wish I could post these," he muttered before turning off his phone and putting it in his back pocket.

"Alright, so we still have half an hour left. Let's use the rest of our tokens at the claw machines? Then we can go find some food," Jimin said.

"Oh, gosh, yes. I've been craving dakgangjeong. Can't wait to eat some!"

*dakgangjeong: Sweet Crispy Korean Fried Chicken

"I've been craving eomuk. I don't remember the last time I had some," Jungkook said, licking his lips. *eomuk: Korean Fish Cake

"Then let's finish our tokens as soon as possible! So we can get some food. I wanna get some bungeo," Taehyung said. "We should buy a lot, too. To share with the others, too." *bungeoppang: Korean Fish-shaped Pastry.

Most of your remaining tokens were wasted as the boys miserably tried to win a stuffed animal. You couldn't bear to watch them fail, so you took over.

If you hadn't decided to try, you would've walked out empty-handed.

"You guys suck at claw games," you joked as you walked out of the arcade. "Consider these my gift for taking me out today. It's been a while since I've had some fun," you told your soulmates.

"It's not our fault those claws don't grip on the stuffed animals," Jimin whined.

"I was too hungry to pay proper attention," Jungkook huffed. "But thank you."

You hummed in response. "Now, let's get some food. All that has made me hungry."

Make It Three | Four

The four of you took sat in the car with a sigh.

"It's after eight. You'll be home a little later than planned, y/n," Jungkook, who was going to drive this time, told you.

"That's okay," you said. "I get to spend more time with you guys, anyway," you whispered, a small smile coming to your face.

You had fun today. And you were a little upset it was coming to an end.

"Damn, this eomuk is delicious," Jungkook groaned, taking a bite before handing it to Jimin so he could start the car.

"We know, Kook. You've been saying that the entire way here," Jimin chuckled. "But let me take a bite to taste how good it is."

"I wanna taste too!" Taehyung playfully whined.

"Take a bite. And when I say bite, I don't mean a mouthful!" He warned.

"Yeah, yeah," Taehyung mumbled before taking it from Jimin and taking a bite. "Do you want some, too?" he asked you.

Before you could decline the offer, the treat was already by your mouth. "Here, take a bite," Taehyung smiled.

You hesitantly took a bite. "It tastes great!"

"You should Tae how to take bites," Jimin chuckled.

"Hey! She took such a small bite because she was hesitant! Did you not see it yourself?"

You grew slightly embarrassed. "Look, you're making y/n feel embarrassed!" Jungkook said, looking at you from the rearview mirror.

"She's just shy. Get used to it, princess. It'll be like this and a lot worse majority of the time," Taehyung said, taking your hand in his.

You looked at your joint hands with pink cheeks. 'Princess?'

"Look at her turning red because you called her princess," Jimin chuckled.

"I think it's the hand," Taehyung smiled.

How were you going to survive with all this teasing?

You looked away from them and out the window,, just like you did earlier.

By now, Jungkook was already on the road to your house.

"You know what I just realised?" Jimin suddenly asked, causing you to grow curious. "You haven't told us much about yourself. Well, you sorta did over text and at the club, but I wanna know more!"

"Oh, I wanna know more about you, too! Tell us more about yourself, y/n," Jungkook said.

You lowkey hated when people asked you to tell them about yourself. Your mind would become blank, and you'd temporarily forget who you were and what you liked.

"What do you guys want to know?" You asked. "Ah, but wait. I'll only tell you about myself if you guys do the same. I know I can just google, but I want to know the real you," you said. "Not the Jimin, V and Jungkook of BTS."

"Yes, of course. Anything you want to know, and we'll answer."

You couldn't describe how happy you were to be here. Sitting in the car with your soulmates, holding one of their hands as you got to know more about each other.

You didn't want to go home.

“Y/N angel, I think today’s the day we need to wash blankie.” Jimin calls out to you in a gentle voice when he spots you waddling down the stares with said blanket in hand after your nap.

You’ve had that blanket for months now and it’d only been washed a handful of times. It was getting so bad that the original pink color it came in was now a nasty light brownish color and covered in all types of food stains.

Originally, Minnie Mouse’s face was plastered in a diagonal line. But now, you could barley see her black outline. Not to mention the wrinkle and god awful smell.

At first they thought you were going through one of your phases and would eventually ask for a new blanket that had whatever thing you were fixated on. And of course they’d buy it for you cause you they loved spoiling you. But that’s how it had always been. Stuck on unicorns? You needed a unicorn blanket. Cars? Needed it in a blanket. Even plants (you could thank Namjoon for that phase).

But no. You couldn’t seem to let go of this Minnie Mouse blanket. Literally. You’d take it everywhere with you. Quick grocery trip, the studio, the beach, to another friends house. The boys were actually glad one time you brought it with you to the water park so they could rinse out some of the dirt from the last trip.

But now it was beginning to be a problem. The boys had several talks about it amongst themselves. All begging the question, ‘how do we get it out of her grasp?’ Why was this one thing giving you so much comfort you would fight them for it? For months they had tip toed around the idea, pointing out the blankets flaws in hopes of cloaking you over time to wash it. But somehow you weren’t phased.

The boys had finally decided to put their foot down that day when Taehyung came complaining to them in the morning about how he couldn’t sleep because the blanket was uncomfortable and smelly, but you had insisted on sleeping with it.

Sure it didn’t bother you, but it was starting to get to them. Being idols, Taehyung needed that sleep. But every time they even reached for the blanket you’d flinch before starting to scream and kick, not stopping under any circumstances till it was secure in your arms.

You quickly shook your head at Jimin’s words, eyes already filled with worry. “No. No wash blankie.” You huffed holding it tighter.

“Baby..” Namjoon warned, not liking the word no coming out of your mouth but this seemed to only make you angrier.

“Baby, it’s icky! Wouldn’t it be nice for it to be soft and clean again? Almost as good as new?” Jungkook asked you trying to pass his excitement over to you but you weren’t having it.

“I don’t want it good as new.” Your voice got louder as you argued with him in a mocking manner which only caused him to frown. This could turn bad really quick.

Your words just made the boys more confused but let the comment pass. “Y/N I don’t think this is up for discussion anymore.” Hoseok said sympathetically. He knew this was going to escalate and that you were likely going to cry, which is one of the things he hated seeing.

“Because it’s not.” Yoongi stepped in with a somewhat firm voice. Yoongi was easily one of the scariest when mad but he never let his anger get to far. Still, you knew his potential from small moments when you were big. “Baby the sooner you hand over blankie the sooner you can have it back.” He explained in a calmer voice.

You seemed to realize that this time they wouldn’t back down so easily. “But l love blankie! You can’t have it!” You almost shouted tears already welling up in your eyes as your face turned red.

“Y/N calm down.” Jimin told you firmly. They had tried to be sweet but it was frustrating when you acted like this.

“Baby, we’re sorry. We truly are, but this has to be done.” Jin told you and your eyes widen with fear when he stood up, making his way towards the end of the stairs where you stood.

“No! No! Please! Mean daddies!” You pleaded with tears, walking up the stairs backwards which was also a no-no. The others followed behind Jin, now worried that you’d trip and abruptly told him to stop moving.

Even when Jin stopped following you, you turned your back and run upstairs and to your room, slamming the door shut behind you.

The boys sighed as they stood there in silence. “I hate this.” Yoongi admitted, guilt brewing in his stomach when you started crying and the boys agreed in hums.

“But we can’t put this off anymore or it’ll come back to bite us in the ass. We aren’t getting rid of it.” Jin spoke as if reminding them cause it felt like you were going through the six stages of grief.

“Maybe she doesn’t realize that. We should try to make her understand the situation more.” Namjoon suggest and without another word Taehyung pushed himself between them and up the stairs. Jimin tugged on his arm before he could go further.

“You guys just stay here for a while.” He told them ultimately ignoring their confused and concerned glances before continuing up the stairs and to your room.

Taehyung’s heart broke when he could hear your sobs from outside your door. He couldn’t help but feel the slightest bit guilty that his whining had caused you all of this. They knew it brought you some type of comfort but your attachment was getting unhealthy.

When he knocked on your door, your sobbing stopped but he could hear you shift on your bed. “Go away.” You told whoever was on the other side in a shaky voice.

“It’s Tae Tae. I just wanna talk.” He told you and not giving you another chance to refuse before he slowly opened the door to your room before softly closed it.

You watched him with glossy eyes and short shaky breaths as he made his way to the edge of your bed. He held out his arms for you and you slowly climbed into his lap, clinging onto his shirt for dear life as you two hugged.

He combed through your messy hair and after you had calmed down, he spoke. “Baby, why do you like blankie so much? You were over Minnie Mouse ages ago.” He asked trying to understand your attachment to it.

You sniffled before answering, “Because it protec me. Like at the airport.” You stated and at first Taehyung was just confused until he realized what you meant.

The blanket was a split second decision. You were at the airport with them and had spotted it in a store for a brief second. The boys couldn’t resist saying no to you when your eyes sparkled just describing what it looked like to them.

They couldn’t go out and buy it themselves, there was to much press and it was a baby scandal waiting to happen. So they sent out some staff to go get it and you were over the moon when it was in your hands. It was one of the easiest flights with you ever and you were fast asleep the whole time.

The boys had joked about how magical the blanket was and how it protected them from any bad behavior (mostly talking about you). Hearing that, I guess you took it to heart and vowed to take it everywhere.

The worst part of it all was that it worked.

Whenever you took the blanket anywhere you were on your best behavior and had no mishaps.

“Oh but honey, it doesn’t need to protect you at home. Nothing bad can happen here and if something does that’s what we’re here for.” He explained with a beaming smile, happy that they had gotten somewhere. “You trust us right?”

You nodded hurriedly. Of course you trusted your daddies to protect you. They were super safe and had protected you many times before. And now that you thought about it, nothing had ever happened at home…

“So while we’re protecting you, blankie can get a nice bath.” Hoseok spoke softly, you hadn’t even realized that the rest of them were slowly making their way into the room hearts fluttering when you said you trusted them.

“Bath?” You repeated and he nodded with a reassuring smile. “You know when you get icky after an accident or playing in the mud? Blankie feels icky too.” Jin stated and they watched with anxious eyes as you glanced down at your blanket. You guessed it did look less pink, and you had seen a ketchup stain that felt weird when you laid on it.

“Blankie feels icky?” You asked still nervous and the boys smiled, knowing that they had finally convinced you to crack. They would help you feel safe and the blanket would finally get washed.

“Very.” Jimin answered scrunching his nose. He made a mental note to bring up cleaning your room to get rid of the smell.

“Can I help with the bath?” You asked eyes slowly started to brighten which warmed the boys hearts.

“Absolutely!” Tae grinned.

“Now you can’t get in, but you can help wash.” Yoongi clarified but it didn’t seem to matter to you which made him feel proud of you.

Moments later you waddled off be bed and handed the blanket over to Jin causing them to shower you with praises about how good and brave you were. It made you feel a lot better.

After everyone put on gloves, including you, they all headed to the bathroom and got it ready. You had wanted a lot of bubbles and they didn’t fight you.

“We should have used the washer and dryer.” Jungkook said his arm covering his nose when the smell got worse. He was the one with the most sensitive nose so they put him on snack duty instead.

“And the tub is going to be ruined.” Namjoon pointed out when they had drained the nasty brown water for the third time.

“It’s better than buying a whole new dryer.” Jin scolded them with a huff. Not like they couldn’t afford millions anyways.

“I got pink dye.” Taehyung said when he came rushing in out of breath. He had ran all the way to the store when he had thought of the brilliant idea.

After hours of hard labor and letting everything set you were reunited with your blanket right before going to bed. You had been tucked in, teeth had been brushed, story had been read but they could tell you were still sad about not having it with you.

You let out a loud gasp when Namjoon came in the door with it in hand. It smelt like flowers and it got some of its color back. Not good as new, but you didn’t mind.

“Thank you daddies.” You whispered, yawning when it was in your hands. They looked at you with loving eyes at the adorable sight.

“Thank you for being so brave.” Yoongi said back giving you a soft kiss on the forehead before tucking you in himself. Your daddies always knew how to make you feel safe.

The boys never liked the idea of you having a job in the first place. On top of the possibility of you slipping into little space at work or someone realizing you live with the biggest boy group in the world, they had money. They could pay for all of your expenses anyways.

So why did you get a job? Simply to get out of the house and to have your own hard earned money in your pocket.

It didn’t take long for you to quickly feel bad about all the things they’d get for you big or little. And it didn’t take long for the mansion they moved you into with them to get small.

So here you were, two weeks into your job as a simple barista when you made your first mistake. Someone had ordered a pink drink that was pretty with strawberries and once you saw the sprinkles you slipped.

You hurriedly finished the order the best you could and rushed into the bathroom but to your horror one of your mangers Gigi, had already been in there and was washing her hands.

“What are you doing?” She quickly questioned you. She had always been a hard ass and almost no one liked her. She was picky with everything anyone did and had obvious favorites. “Your not on break, are you?”

Stupidly, your five year old mind told the truth and shook your head no.

“Then get back to work what’s wrong with you.” She said harshly which immediately brought tears to your eyes. She had yelled at you before so her harsh tone usually wouldn’t push you. But it was different when you were little, and she seemed to see that something was wrong.

She glanced at the sprinkles stuck to your sweaty hands, then at your glossy eyes. She raised an eyebrow, “How old are you twelve? Stop acting like a fucking child.” She scolded again taking a step towards you.

“N-No I’m five!” You shouted out of fear and she immediately realized what was happening. Her lips curled into a nasty grin before grabbing your ear and pulling on it as she lead out out the bathroom.

“You’re one of them idiots that think they are kids. Well guess what? Kids have to work too. And if you don’t, I’m deducting your pay.” She whispered into your ear before harshly pushing you towards the cash register where another coworker had took over.

You had no choice but to continue working and every day after that she’d keep a good eye on you. She’d criticize your every move and did things like intentionally throwing sprinkles on the floor and demanding you to sweep them up. She’d try to trigger you on purpose and when you eventually slipped she’d yell and demand you to do the most impossible tasks.

And if you dare tried to get out of it or not do it at all it only made things worse.

You were seriously thinking about quitting altogether, but being a barista soothed you and you liked the people you worked with. Of course there were occasional rude customers but you liked how organized the job was and just liked getting out of the house without it being such a hassle.

But working was starting to effect you mentally (since slipping was a coping mechanism and stress reliever) and was starting to effect you at home with the boys.

You started not to slip at home even though they were your caregivers, you were scared of death of slipping. So in turn, you started distancing yourself from them whenever you happened to slip. And then distancing yourself period.

You’d stay in your room most of the day and when it was time for dinner you have short answers whenever they tired to make conversation.

Even though they themselves were busy, your detaching did not go unnoticed. Neither did the fact that you were never little. The longest you’ve able to stay big was a week, but now it was going on three.

Finally, one day when you were off they sat you down on the couch for a talk.

“Y/N, did we do something?” Namjoon was the first to speak and the heartbreak in his voice caught you off guard.

“What?” You asked confused. That’s when you noticed how hurt they all looked. They weren’t pouting, more like sulking.

“You’ve just been distant lately. Always at work and always tired when you come home..” Hobi stated with a cautious voice as you swallowed a lump of guilt.

You hadn’t told them anything. You didn’t want them dealing with your work problems when they had their own. They had always fixed your problems to begin with, you could handle a bully on your own.

“You must be confusing me with Yoongi.” You spoke in a flat voice. You were trying to play it off as a joke but it didn’t come out right. Still, it amused Jin who let out a chuckle.

“Okay well you also haven’t slipped.” Taehyung spoke in a matter-of-factly tone which quickly made the room quiet and tense.

“I haven’t noticed..” you mumbled it obviously being a lie as you looked down at the couch.

“Really? Or did you just think we wouldn’t notice?” Jungkook corrected you quickly with a bitter tone. The words caught you off guard as you made eye contact with him. He looked sad but worried for you.

“Y/N we aren’t just your caregivers, we’re friends. Tell us what’s wrong?” Yoongi’s usual rough voice turned soft which made you shiver and shift uncomfortably in your seat. You couldn’t slip, not now.

This also didn’t go unnoticed and they suddenly had a new plan using only their eyes to confirm.

“Nothing.” You denied again.

“What’s wrong, angel? Why are you lying to us?” Jimin asked with an intention pleading tone.

Your eyes widen in realization. They were trying to get you to slip. But it far to late now.

“I’m not~” you said again in a more whiny tone as you slouched back on the couch. The warm fuzziness in your stomach was too strong to ignore this time. Especially when Tae started to pull you into his lap and stroke your hair.

The more you tried to fight the urge the more your head started to hurt. Flashbacks on your job clouded your mind as you started to cry. That’s when you broke.

“It’s okay princess.” Jungkook soothed you, using his hand to wipe your tears. “Let’s get you into some fuzzy clothes and a pull up.” He proposed taking you off of Jimin’s lap and into his arms as he headed to your room.

Not wanting to crowd you, the rest of them stayed downstairs while Jungkook whispered sweet things to you as he changed you into a comfortable onesie.

When you were back downstairs Jin had already prepared some small snacks for you along with a juice box.

“Baby, something’s made you distant and sad.” Namjoon stated once he had finished the snack and were sipping on the juice box. “We want to help you, but you have to let us okay?”

You nodded, taking a minute to form your words before speaking. “At work. Boss lady mean.” You whispered which immediately made them frown.

“What does boss lady say?” Tae asked with a worried expression as he held your hand while you were bouncing on Hobi’s lap.

“She say littles are dumb.” Tears formed in your eyes as you thought back at her mean shouting. “She yell and tug when I make messes. She no like littles.”

You could feel Yoongi hold you tighten on your hand when you continued as the boys all shared the same looks at each other. The ‘someone is getting fired’ look.

“Am I dumb?” You asked them when they went silent as your lip quivered.

“Absolutely not!” Jungkook immediately answered. “Boss lady doesn’t know what she’s talking about. You are a gift.” He continued in a strong voice. He was trying not to get to angry in front of you but his blood boiled at the thought of someone saying these things to you.

“Why didn’t you tell us this was happening baby? We would of helped you before it got to bad.” Jimin asked with a frown while he tried to maintain eye contact with you.

“I wanted to fix it myshelf.” You state in a low voice, feeling disappointed.

“It’s okay. You can be independent. It’s just when things get to bad you have to tell us.” Hobi told you softly but in a firm tone to know he was serious and you nodded.

“We’re gonna make sure she never does it again.” Tae reassured you with a head pat but you just frowned. “I can’t work?” You asked.

“You can still work sweetie. We know how much you like earning money and how relaxed you are when you work.” Jin reassured you with a gentle smile.

“It’s however the fuck boss lady is that can’t work anymore.” Yoongi mumbled angrily but it only caused you to smile.

“Swear.” You giggled and pointing as the rest of them glared at Yoongi. You loved when Yoongi swore around you, simply because he wasn’t supposed to. You grinned whenever he got scolded or smacked by Jin. Yoongi just ignored the looks and lightly chuckled, your giggles making him slightly less mad.

Once everything was settled the boys immediately had someone on the phone with your manager and she was fired only three days later.

So you vowed to yourself to tell them if anything was bothering you again.

                                                                                                     Prologue

The sunlight coming through the white curtains lightning the room, and the sound of birds chirping outside on the tree, disturbed the much-needed sleep I was hoping to get. The soft breeze from the window caressing my sweaty face gave me some comfort. My mind was still hazy from last night's event.

As my mind started recalling the reason behind my raging headache, I jolted right up to look for my phone hoping to see a call or a text from him. The disappointment of seeing none in the sea of congratulations from my friends and family struck me like lightning. Yesterday was supposed to be a confirmation that we're soulmates. We were supposed to be happy, not heartbroken. I didn't just lose my love, I lost my best friend too. I didn't realize, I was crying until I saw my phone screen wet. Clenching my eyes shut, I tried not to cry, but all I could see or think about was him.

                                last night

My heart melted as my eyes landed on the beautiful necklace Eric bought me for my birthday. I looked up into his eyes which were awaiting my response,

"Eric," I said as my mouth broke into a huge grin.

"It's beautiful," I told him as my eyes landed on the beautiful stary necklace again.

Eric's voice made my eyes settle on his, " it took me some time though I finally found the perfect gift for my perfect girl." he said making my cheeks grow heated, butterflies erupting in my stomach even after all this time as I hung my head to hide the effect he still has on me. He loves doing it, making my cheeks flush.

The sound of the chair gliding against the floor stole my attention, I see him getting up from his chair and coming to stand behind me with the necklace in his hands and moving my hair to the side, settling the piece on my neck. The chain was golden and long enough for the stars to touch between my clavicles, which were shining bright, making my breath hitch with the beauty of the neckpiece.

A sudden stinging pain took place between my shoulder blades.

"Ah!" a groan left my lips as I closed my eyes and held the tablecloth between my closed fist .As fast as it came, the pain was gone and I was able to breathe again.

The realization of the reason behind the sudden ache had a glooming smile plastered on my face as I tried to touch the place where now my soul mark rests.

I turned around with excitement, jumped to my feet, and wrapped my arms around his tall and slender figure, his musky scent invading my senses reminding me of home and home he was. He was there when I took my first steps when I joined the elementary school, and when I got bullied in high school for my brown skin and ethnicity, he was always there, protecting me from the world. Though we only officially have been dating for the past six years, we always believed each other to be our soul mates. Even the people around us had no doubt.

When he still didn't move or hug me back, I stepped back and placed my palm on his left cheek: gently calling for him. His eyes found mine as I tried to decipher the emotions swimming behind his blue orbs. The joy of getting my soul mark made me assume his tears were of the same .I leaned in to connect my lips to his, wanting to taste his cupid lips, but he backed away, making my beaming smile turn into a frown.

"what's wrong Eric?" I asked.

" now we can officially call each other soulmates, Aren’t you happy?"

but the next words that came out of his mouth told me exactly the reason behind his turmoil.

" your soul mark.." he gulped and closed his eyes, a lone tear fell on his cheek as he opened them. "it's very beautiful, but i...I don't think we are soulmates" he chuckled bitterly. "cause I didn't get a soul mark when you touched me."

"We were wrong... I can't believe we were wrong for so long" he mumbled while stepping away from me.

My brain took a minute to process his words and I stumbled back as they finally hit me. NO, I thought. My eyes looked for his mark or lack thereof for confirmation and as he said there was nothing.

"NO", "no no no no..." I kept mumbling. " it can't be, we are meant to be together eric, we have always been together." I clutched his shirt wanting nothing more than the words coming out of my mouth to be true, for him to assure me that nothing will change.

"it's okay, it's okay, we don't need the marks to tell us we are meant to be. We can be happy without the stamp of approval of the marks," I said frantically while Eric was trying to get out of my hold shaking his head.

"No, Selene. There are other people, our actual soulmates, we need to think of, who will be affected by this if we try to ignore the soul bonds" he said softly, not wanting me to lose my mind further.

I turned away from him, "I need a drink" I said, chugging down the contents of my glass of wine, which was brought to celebrate my 22nd birthday, my special day. The day we both were eagerly waiting for, to finally show everyone that we indeed are soulmates but, NO the world likes to throw curveballs at my face every time I feel even a spurt of happiness and this is a fucking huge one.

I slowly slide down to my chair, clutching the necklace he just gave me, remembering our moments. Everything we went through together, every time the world got against us we stood together facing it but now? now he wants to let go of the hand he promised to hold forever. All the sweet words of promises he gave me vanish into nothing.

"We can still be friends, Selene. We don't need to throw everything away but, I just can't be with you like that anymore knowing you belong to someone else," he says shaking his head, and stopping my thoughts abruptly.

when Selene's 22nd  birthday doesn't go as she expected,  her world turns upside down, making her resent her soulmates. Will she ever come to accept them in her life or will she continue to run away holding onto her past love?

Stars To My Moon |chapter-8|

Bouncing his leg up and down, chewing on the pen, he couldn't help but wonder what was happening across the hall.

With a sigh, he slams his pen down on the table, getting up to pace around the room.

Taehyung was trying to concentrate on his music, wanting to take his mind off the fact that the other members were in Selene's new apartment, trying to help her settle in, but the thought of everyone with her: enjoying, and making new memories was unsettling to him.

Not because he didn't want to share her or was possessive over her, but because he wasn't there with them, he won't be included in those memories.

Setting his ego aside, he finally gives in to the urge to stalk across the hall. However, voices could be heard even outside her apartment since the door wasn't locked. And Taehyung could perfectly recognize those voices and what they were saying as he approached the place.

"Hey, is this you?" Jimin asks, most probably to Selene.

"What? Heyy! Give that back! You're not supposed to see that just yet!"

"Oh no, No. Others need to see this." Jimin says, just in time for Taehyung to watch the further occurrence from the doorway. The scene had his steps halted and jaw clenching.

Jimin was running around the messy sitting room while Selene chased him, swearing at him while they both laughed. They looked like a normal, happy couple there, and Taehyung was happy for his friend but what had him step back and turn around to go back to his own place was not the thought of giving them privacy but the fact that, he too, wanted to be included in her life but was afraid of the rejection.

This wasn't the first time he had caught Selene with his members and one of her other soulmates. Just this morning, Selene was happily cooking together with Jin; the way her aura glowed with serenity and happiness was a rare sight to see. One he had never had the luck to see before then. Not just that, but he had also seen her talking with Namjoon at the ungodly hour of the night. Both, getting to know each other and sharing their troubles. He hadn't meant to eavesdrop but overheard that her mother was the one who convinced her to give them a chance. He was so thankful for her mother but couldn't help being jealous of their relationship. Out of all of them, Namjoon would be the one who knows Selene even just a little.

Since tomorrow she had not but glanced at him one time when they held hands to not get sick. And now seeing her like this with Jimin- he understands that the problem is not about them being her soulmates anymore. It was HIM being her soulmate. Lord knows what he has done besides giving her the piece of mind that she desperately needed.

With an anxious mind and furious steps, he gets back to his room and falls into his twirling chair. Mind going over the possibilities of confronting her for the not-so-subtle ignorance of his existence. Because he had to, or he would lose his mind pondering over the why.

The only question remaining was HOW? He breathes out a sigh of annoyance. He didn't want to do anything that he would regret later.  Something that would cause an even bigger rift between the two.

Taehyung gets up from the chair, running his hand through his hair. The sound of footsteps coming towards his room with a huff interrupts his brainstorming. He peeks out of his room to find out who the sound belonged to, finding his hyung searching for something in a hurry.

"Hyung! What are you doing?" He asks, fully stepping out of his room.

"The company called; they need me in. And I just can't find my fucking will to go. All I wanted to do was sleep for a while." Yoongi says with a huff making Taehyung crack up.

Yoongi; after having woken up late in the morning, got the news of getting the day off to help Selene settle in from Jin, and needless to say, he was ecstatic. And no, not to help her. But for the bliss that he will get sleeping after having done so.

"Forget that. What are you doing here when everyone is there having fun, huh?" His Hyung asks with a pointed look.

He looks down and shakes his head. "What does it matter, hyung? If I am there or not?"

"You know it does. Everyone wants you there."

"Not her. She doesn't want me there."

"And why do you say that? Has she said something to you?" Yoongi raises an eyebrow.

He laughs, "She'll say something to me when she acknowledges my existence. That's the point, Hyung. She is acting like I don't exist. She has gone and made amends with every one of her soulmates except me. She doesn't want anything to do with me. She's got everything she would want in them anyways, the brain, the beauty, and the heart. Where would I even fit in? There is no place left."

"Don't say that. You need to give her some time. She might still be a little upset at you, or maybe she is afraid just like you. Don't go jumping to conclusions." Yoongi consoles him, putting a hand on his shoulder.  Taehyung nods, not believing him fully but letting the hope creep in.

"Now, let's go. Everyone is waiting." Yoongi takes his hand and leads him to her apartment.

Stopping at the door, "You go in. I'll join you guys for dinner after." Saying this, Yoongi disappears down the hall.

With a sigh, he musters up the courage to bear getting ignored by his soulmate again. Gulping down the hurt and anger, he tries to stay calm and impassive as he steps into the apartment, not letting his steps falter.

But, as he steps into the apartment a second time that day the picture playing in front of him is much worse than before. And he broke.

Selene tastes the food from the spoon and then forwards the spoon to Jungkook, who starts jumping with mad brows after tasting it. Making Selene nervous,

"What is it? You don't like it? is it too spicy?"

"Aani aani." He retaliates.

Namjoon laughs as he shakes his head. "He always does this when he likes the food. It's his way of expressing that the food is good."

She laughs, and others don't miss this opportunity to tease the maknae.

"AArghhhh... Jkayyy..."

Jungkook hides behind Jin, hands touching his ears softly; something he does when he's shy, with his bunny smile. They all have this belief that Jin's broad shoulders can save them from anything in the world. I know, Funny. But cute.

Back to the topic at hand, The reason Taehyung broke was not their smiles nor the family-like atmosphere but the fact that Selene is even friendly and smiley towards someone who is not her soulmate. That means the problem is him only. Maybe he went too far when he called her a bitch, but well, she was acting like it. And he won't let regret fill his heart. He did what he did for his best friend, and they are happy now. Trying. Because of that. He just needs to find a way to mend his relationship with her.

Taking a deep breath in, he approaches them. His heart, beating fast. The hope that maybe she will acknowledge him or just pass him a small smile was there. But well, what is the point of false hope, right? Because she didn't. As he approached, Jimin comes by his side, talking about what just took place, oblivious that he had already seen it and let it scratch at his heart.

Everyone takes a seat, curiously watching Selene cook with Jin and Jungkook helping her.

"She is making something from her culture. Gazpacho?" Jimin looks at Selene, confirming if he said it right.

"Gazpacho and Paella (Pa-yay-ah)" she teaches him and he repeats it back to Taehyung.

He nods. One thing he notices is not once during this exchange did Selene look at him directly. She corrected Jimin with a small polite smile and went back to doing her thing. He closes his fist, trying to drink down the hurt.

The cooking goes on, Selene doing most of the work, with Jin and Jungkook teasing and fighting each other in the back. These guys really do start anywhere, but what can one say? That's what makes their relationship exceptional.

Hoseok and Namjoon talk as the latter say something that makes Hobi laugh so hard; he starts clapping his hand.

"Care to share?" Selene raises an eyebrow at them. A small smile played on her lips.

Hoseok shakes his head, making the motion of sealing his lips. All the while trying to contain his laughter. Namjoon hangs his head, also trying to hide his dimpled smile.

Meanwhile, Taehyung had to chew on the hurt and anger he was feeling. He is going to ask her tonight why she is behaving like this to him. He can not be in the dark anymore. His patience has run out. He now just needs to find an appropriate time for it.

                                                    --------

Trying to ignore Taehyung has turned out to be a much harder task than I thought it would. His presence is big. Even when he quietly sits on the side, he attracts attention. But that is something I can't give in to.

The way I have seen it, Taehyung has had some problems with me since the start. why wouldn't he? the way I treated them, ignored our connections, no one deserves that kind of behavior. And I am not ready to broach that subject with him yet because I fear he might reject me. I suspect nothing major will happen to me if one or two of my soulmates out of seven refuses to be with me, but still, he holds a piece of my soul. The puzzle of my heart will not be completed if even one of them refuses to be with me.

The quiet, frowny look he wears whenever he is near me is painful to watch. How bad would you feel if your presence became the reason for the frown on your soulmate's face? I don't ever want to experience this again. But the connection between our souls has been pulling my gaze towards him and even with my resistance I had sneaked a handful of looks at him whenever he wasn't looking at me. Better yet, glaring at me.

That's what it has been like with him. He gives me glares, and I try my best to ignore them in order to avoid the hurt.

I sigh softly, making up an excuse to leave the kitchen while the dish simmers. Asking Jungkook and Jin to see it doesn't get burnt.

With their nod, I make my way toward my new bedroom. The decor is all beige and white. On the shelves above my bed sits my plants, giving the room a home-y calm vibe. I take a seat on the side of my bed, smoothening out its wrinkles. I wish someone could smooth out the wrinkles in my and Taehyung's relationship just like that.

I get up, looking for my phone. Maybe my mother could help me and give me some advice on how to approach him.

I look on and inside my bedside table but have no luck; I move onto the shelves, my closet, and under the pillow, but I don't find it anywhere. Where the fuck did I put my fucking phone!

A sigh of frustration leaves my mouth. I should ask one of the guys to call on it. I never put my mobile on silent, so it should be easy to find.

I look down at my feet, carrying me out of my bedroom.  God, I need to go to the salon. My toenails are in very poor shape. I huff out at my own ignorance. I never let my salon date pass.

Just as I look back up again, a hand clasps around my own, and I am suddenly being pulled into the dark hallway, opposite of where I intended of going, might I add.

The person slams me against the wall, one hand still holds my own, pressing it against the wall beside my head, and the other rests above my head.

"Wha-" my curse dies out on my tongue when I see who the culprit is.

Collecting myself, I ask, "What are you doing!?" trying to break my hand free from his grip.

"No." He interrupts me, refusing to let go of his hold on me. "What are YOU doing, huh?"

"What!?" I ask at his accusing tone, oblivious of what the fuck he is on about,

Gritting his teeth, he answers, "Why are you ignoring me?"

Hearing his question, I scoff, going into defensive mode. "Excuse me! I am ignoring YOU?"

"Yes."

Alright! If he wants to pretend that he wasn't the one acting all prideful and ignorant before, I'll play along. He's going to be the one regretting either way.

"Well, don't you think that might be because you deserve it? You don't think you did something that would lead to me ignoring you, Taehyung?" I ask him absurdly, still trying to get my hand out of his grip, which he still refuses to let go

"No. I don't think so. All I did was put some sense into you and pushed you in the right direction." He gets closer to me. So close, I can feel his breath on my face.

"Reallyyy!? Excuse me if my memory doesn't serve me right, but weren't you the one who called me a bitch?" I cock my head.

"Um, Weren't you the one acting like a bitch and planning to leave your soulmates?" He throws it back at me. Offending me, boy.

"You all were practically strangers to me! What the fuck had you expected!? I would bear out my heart to you, trust you and accept you all in a matter of an eyeblink!!? Just because you are my soulmates!? That is ABSURD!" I breathe heavily, my heart racing fast.

All my life, I have avoided confrontations. Talking about what I think is hard for me, showing any emotions is a no-go. It is something that I just can't do. Eric was there all the way. Still, it wasn't easy for me to completely be vulnerable in front of him. But this man! He just knows how to push my buttons. God, He is making me talk, and I do not like it. Still, I won't stop now. Not now, This has to be said.

"NO!" he slams the wall beside my head, getting more close to my face; I have to look sideways to avoid contact as he speaks, gritting his teeth. "IF you were acting all cold and ignorant because you wanted to take time to KNOW us before committing and diving into this, it would have been fine; it even would have been welcomed. But you did all that not to know us but to push us away to get back with your past lover! How had YOU expected us to react!? Did you think we would be okay with you stomping all over us to get back to your boyfriend? The same boyfriend who left You for his soulmate. Do you really think he was worthy of your love and sacrifice?"

"No! Don't you dare bring Eric into this. Whatever happened, he is still my friend, and he left me because he cared for all the lives that would have been affected by this, as in Yours! Also, I have never wanted ill for any of you. I would have sealed our bond, and we all could have been happy with the ones who we would choose."

"You really think we could have chosen someone else when we knew you were out there, that at last, we were going to be together because you're the one destiny wants us to be with." He asks, his eyes going soft. Looking into them, for a second, I forget that we were fighting; this is the first time he has let me see the vulnerability in his eyes, and something tells me being vulnerable isn't easy for him as well.

Looking away, I say, "Anyway, moving on. After talking with my mother, I have decided to give this a chance. so why are you bringing this up again when I have already apologized?"

"That's the thing Selene, You have apologized and mended your relationship with everyone. Everybody except me. How do you think I feel about that?" His eyes gave out an emotion I couldn't put my finger on.

"I don't know. I didn't think you'd care." Shrugging, I tell him honestly.

"Why did you think that?"

"Because you don't like me from day one, and you've been ignoring me like a plague, and you are always glaring at me. What else am I supposed to think? You don't act that way when you care, Taehyung." I sigh as I tell him.

The way he has been acting has hurt me, even if I don't have the right to say so. I know I hurt them first, but I get it now, and I want to know them now. And his unspoken rejection stung.

"You think I am ignoring you?" He asks, a bit surprised as he finally softens his grip on my hand, backing away just a little.

"Yes, obviously." Even when I know that I could free my hand now that his grip has loosened, I don't. I let him hold my hand. Craving the little connection our souls are getting from our little encounter.

"What makes you think that?" Pure confusion displayed in his eyes.

"I don't know? The fact that you never talk to me? Leave the room when I enter? Avoid making any eye contact?"

"I don't avoid eye contact; you do. And I don't talk to you because you are always preoccupied with someone. And I leave the room because-" he abruptly stops. His expressions tell me he said something he thought he shouldn't have. Still, I push.

"Because..? Because what Taehyung? Because you don't want to be near a bitch like me? Because you don't want me near your friends? Because you think my personality is so hideous that you can't look at it for-"

"Because it hurts, dammit!" Shouting, he interrupts me. "Because it hurts to see you all smiley and happy with the others and ignoring me. Even with Jungkook, you act like you guys are such good friends while you avoid any interaction with me, your own soulmate." He whispers, making me completely shut up.

When I don't say anything, he looks up with misty eyes. "I know you don't want me. Why would you, when you have everything you could ever want in those three? They're the brains, beauty, and heart. But you're the only soulmate I have. And I want to be with you, even if I have to be at the bottom of your list."

Hearing him breaks my heart; I didn't know he felt like that. I never intended for him to question himself. Freeing my hand from his grip, I touch his cheeks, making his eyes stay on mine. "No. You never were and never will be at the bottom of my list, Taehyung, because there is no list. I never approached you because I thought you didn't want me. I want all of you. All of you hold a piece of my soul; it won't be complete if I don't have you."

Taehyung doesn't say anything for a minute, only looking into my eyes. As if to ensure himself of the sincerity behind my words. When he finds what he is looking for, he shuts his eyes as he comes closer and rests his head against mine, hands covering my own that are still holding his face.

"Thank you," he whispers. "I really needed to hear that. You have no idea how much I had been thinking about it, but to see that you don't feel or think that way is a huge relief like a weight lifted off my shoulders."

"Well, it's true. And stop looking down at yourself. You are the brain, beauty, and heart, as well as much more. And I am sorry. I should have come to talk to you instead of making any assumptions. I would very much like to know you, Kim Taehyung. If you will let me." I whisper back. Completely baring my heart out in front of him. Because he had as well, and I want him to know that he will not be the only one making efforts in this relationship. We need to start on the right foot again, and that's what I want to make this into. A fresh start.

"I wouldn't want anything more. Thank you. And I'm sorry for calling you a bitch too." He apologizes in his deep, hoarse voice, sending my stomach a tingle.

"I forgive you. I kinda was being a bitch that day." I chuckle, and he follows.

"Yeah, kinda." he says with a teasing smile.

We keep staring into each other's eyes, forgetting that a world outside us exists.

After a couple of minutes pass of us drinking each other, I whisper, "We should get back. Everyone must be wondering."

"Uh-hmm, We should." he agrees but doesn't move.

"Taehyung!" I push at his chest slightly.

"Alright." He backs away but takes my hand, intertwining our fingers, as we move toward the kitchen.

It has been the most intimate and vulnerable moment I have had with any of my soulmates. And I am glad it was with him, since we both are afraid to be vulnerable.

I laugh, remembering how fast we went from screaming at each other to stripping off our defenses and exposing our thoughts.

"What?" he asks, curious to know the reason behind my amusement.

"Nothing. Come." I shake my head, leading him down the hall.

                              ----------------------------------------------------

"Can someone please call and ask Suga Hyung if he'll be here by dinner?" Jungkook asks, too eager to eat the food after having a taste.

"He said he'll be here; why do you want to disturb him?" Jin says, making the younger hit his chest and thus, starting a banter.

"I am hungryyy!! And when Suga hyung gets into work, the concept of time doesn't exist for him. Just ask!!" He whines, not having the patience to savor the delicious taste of the dish again.

"If you are too eager, call and ask him yourself. I am not going to make him annoyed again after last time."

At this, Jungkook pulls out his doe eyes, shining so brightly suddenly, as if on command.

Jin sighs in defeat, "You know, you take advantage of that too much."

He does his bunny smile, happy at his win.

"Alright, but I won't make the call. Let's make the only person he won't be annoyed by call him." Jungkook nods. And they both, at the same time, scream, "J-Hopeeeee!!!!"

The latter jumps at the sudden loud voice, "Yah! I am in the same room as you; Why are you shouting?"

"Hoba, call yoongi and ask him when he'll be home." Jin orders in a stern tone.

"Hyung? Did something happen?" Hoseok asks, a little worried since Jin doesn't use his hyung card much, but when he does, they all get serious.

"Yeah, I need to talk to him. Call him." Jin says and turns around, winking at Jungkook, who gives him a thumbs up for the acting.

He looks at his Hosoek hyung, fumbling to get his phone out in a hurry to make the call. He knows his Yoongi hyung wouldn't scold him either. It's just that he is too lazy to call.

Snickering at the thought of their conversation, he opens up a packet of chips Selene offered him to get his mind off dinner until it's served.

He scans the room, observing everyone as he sits on the hand of the couch beside Jin.

Jimin and Namjoon, talking among themselves as the latter says something to make the former surprised. Jimin's lips jut out, and his eyes go round.

Jin is talking to Selene and Hoseok, but the lady's mind isn't on what Jin is talking about but on something else. She nods, having no idea Jin is spewing about how he regrets the one time when Jimin asked him to bet if the Dolphins can breathe underwater.

He follows her line of sight, only to find that her attention wasn't occupied by something but rather someone.

On the sofa across her sits Taehyung. Both soulmates, not being able to keep their eyes off each other. Jungkook could practically see them radiating tension.

But that's when it hits him. Last he knew, they weren't really on good terms with each other, so how the sudden change? He hadn't seen them talking. And it's like a light turned on in his head; he recalls how both of them, so conveniently, disappeared at the same time.

A mischievous glint appears in his eyes, ready to tease his brother.

"V Hyung?" He calls but fails to catch the attention of his hyung as he only hums and never looks his way.

He grins as he clears his throat, ready to call him once again a little louder. "Taehyung Hyung!" And just as he wanted, not only Taehyung looks his way but the others as well. Curious as to what made the maknae raise his voice.

"Where did you run off to before?"

He watches as Taehyung gives him a look of confusion before opening his mouth, "What?"

"You ran off somewhere before. You don't remember?" He quirks an eyebrow: silently challenging him.

The latter furrows his brows, and then suddenly remembering, he goes, "Oh, Ahem! I went to the restroom. Why?"

"Nothing, you were just gone for quite a while. What were you doing for so long?" He questions further.

"He must have been taking a big shit," but instead of him, Jin answers, making the room burst out in laughter. Taehyung and Selene join in as well, albeit fake.

"Yeah, you caught me, Hyung." He chuckles nervously.

"There is no reason to be ashamed of that Taehyung-ah. We all take shits." Jin says, making everyone snicker again.

"Oh, and Selene! Where had you run off? You took your time as well." Jungkook stirs the bowl again.

"Oh uh, I uh, went to um call, my mom, yes! But I uh, couldn't find my phone, so I was just looking for it." Selene stammers, continuously looking between him and Taehyung, not keeping eye contact with him. As if, if she did, she'll be caught red-handed.

"Oh? But your phone was in the kitchen with you, no? So why would you go look for it in the bedroom?" He quirks an eyebrow at her.

"I didn't go to call my mother. I was in the bedroom when I thought to call and check on her, and thus my search began."

"And why did you go to your bedroom, exactly?" He questions with his hand on his face, fingers rubbing his chin in thought.

"Oh! Quit bothering them, Jungkook-ah. We know what you are trying to do, and we all know what happened." Namjoon speaks, not having the heart to see them more flustered.

At his statement, Selene looks down, while Taehyung stares at Selene with his boxy smile.

"Really? Is it that obvious?" Selene asks.

"No, not for the blind people. But unfortunately, we can see, and you guys have practically been leering at each other ever since you came back." Jimin says, chuckling as he elbows Taehyung.

"Who came back?" a voice calls out, making everyone's head snap in its direction.

"Argh! Finally. How long do you take!? I have been waiting for forever!" Jungkook says as he stands up, and instead of greeting Suga, he runs past him, patting him in the back and towards the kitchen. Grateful for not having to wait any longer.

"Yah! Jungkook! I'm the eldest; I will be having the first plate!" Jin calls out, running not far behind him.

"First try to keep up, old man!"
