Words of affirmation

Bucky low key has a praise kink. It took a while for you to realize it. The first time you complimented his baking skills, a ruddy flush swept across his cheeks and down his neck, he stammered out the most endearing thank you.

You really began to suspect it the time you mentioned how amazing he was for taking care of you when you were sick the night before, by the time you finished speaking, Bucky resembled the three-tier red velvet cake he was frosting.

And then one night, while you two were making love, you told him how good he was making you feel and he became feral, wanting-needing-to hear those words again and again.

Bucky expresses his affection by writing you the sweetest love notes before he goes to the bakery in the morning. He texts you random things throughout the day. He noticed when you change your hair, or get something new and he compliments you every chance you get. Constantly encouraging you to try new things, building you up, always believing in you.

Quality time

Because of his long hours at the bakery, he cherishes every moment he gets to spend with you. Big fancy dates are fun but it's the nights with the two of you bundled up on the couch under a mountain of blankets, his head on your stomach, arms banded around you while a movie plays. His absolute favorite moments with you. The ones that get him through a long, exhausting day are when you wake up with him, keeping him company while he gets ready. Bucky loves to do things for you. Whether it's creating a signature dish for you or filling up your gas tank and washing your car so you never have to worry about it.

He gives massages, makes you playlists, and plans date nights that revolve around your interests.

If you need something done, Bucky will do it for you. No complaints, he doesn't bring it up later.

Bucky appreciates all the things you do for him. It means the world when you stop by the bakery with lunch or you get his favorite apron dry cleaned.

09:40 IS WHAT it read on bucky’s watch. his foot impatiently tapped against the gravel beneath him and his eyes kept on trailing from the window to the door. he knew that you would be out any minute in your dark jeans and black t-shirt, phone in your hands as your furrowed eyebrows focused on the bright screen. your hair was usually tied in a ponytail but sometimes you let it natural, and bucky loved the look on you a lot.

he readjusted the cap on his head and sighed to himself, realising he had been waiting outside your apartment for twenty minutes now. he wondered if you were even going to work today because you would usually leave at half part and it was now almost quarter to.

a small smile rose to his lips when he finally saw the door open up and your beautiful figure hurriedly rush out. you ran a hand through your hair and mentally cursed to yourself for sleeping in. your shift was in twenty minutes and it took at least fifteen minutes to get the small cafe by foot, so it would be decided upon luck how early you arrive.

bucky watched as you speed away from your apartment and down the lonely road, slowly following you but still a couple paces behind. he stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked against the wall, easily being able to hide if you turned around. his eyes wandered over your figure, the tight fighting jeans were doing wonders to your ass and the way you swayed your hips with every quick step made him bite his lip to prevent from lashing out.

a frown dawned upon your face as you felt somebody’s eyes upon you once again, for the past month you had felt as though somebody was staring at you but each time you waved it off as your own silly imagination. this time you turned around and as usual saw nothing out of the ordinary, nothing suspicious.

bucky’s eyes widened and he immediately shoved himself against the ledge of a building to be unseen by your wondering eyes. he took a few deep breaths before hearing your boots continue to click away and continued following you.

after fifteen long minutes you finally arrived at the small coffee shop and hurried inside to start your shift, while bucky stayed outside and sat at one of the small tables. since the shop was in a busy area, he knew he wouldn’t get caught out for sitting at a table for so long and would only merge in with the crowd.

his eyes wandered over your figure behind the counter, watching the smile on your lips and as you ran your tongue over them while focusing on making the drink for the customer. he watched as you made small talk with the old lady and admired your every move, starting to feel a small itching sensation in his pants.

bucky couldn’t resist it, he needed to be closer to you, he needed to talk to you.

whipping out a fiver from his pocket he stood up and stretched out his previously hunched limbs. he headed inside the building and stood in the small line, glancing over at you and hearing your cheerful voice.

you were a very happy girl, enjoying life and all that, but sometimes he had seen you crying through the window of your room and the sadness on your face made his heart clench. all he wanted to do was hold you in his arms and softly stroke your hair while he repeatedly told you everything was alright, that he was here and he would never le—

“hi there, how can i help you?” bucky shuddered at the sound of your voice so close to him, he inhaled sharply and forced a smile up on his face, glancing up at the menu board.

“h-hi, i’d like an americano please.” bucky requested and you nodded, asking for the right amount of money. as bucky slipped you the fiver he couldn’t help but let his eyes trail to your chest, noticing your slightly visible pecks meaning you hadn’t wore a bra. he glanced at your name tag, (y/n) it said. he liked your name, it was pretty and it suited you.

you told the man to stand at the other side of the counter and he oblidged. you got to making his drink and felt him staring at you, though you waved it off as though he was just waiting for the drink. soon enough you finished making it and handed him the paper cup with a smile, bucky felt your finger brush lightly as he took it from you and his breath hitched in his throat, eyes wondering all over your pretty face.

that was the moment he realised he wants you, that he was sick of just staring at you through windows and wants you to be with him, to be his.

so he formulated a plan, knowing that your shift would end at six and so he waited till then, but instead walking around buildings to occupy himself and not seem too suspicious for staying outside a coffee shop for so long.

finally six o’clock had rolled around and bucky watched as you said one goodbye to your co workers, clenching his jaw at the sight of a male giving you a hug and a small peck on the forehead. his hands became fists and he was now immediately angry at the man who kissed you, he wanted you more than ever.

you finally left the coffee shop, admiring the setting sun for a couple moments before heading on home. you popped in your earbuds and winded down through the music playing in your ears, feeling more released from the work filled day.

bucky quickly followed your every move and until you were halfway home he made his move. he quickly sneaked up behind you and snaked an arm round your waist, clamping a hand down on your mouth to stop you from screaming out.

your eyes widened, what the fuck? you struggled in their grip and your pleads were muffled by a glove covered hand clamping over your mouth. no way, this isn’t happening. you continued to slither about in their grasp before biting down on the hand on your face, a sharp pain entering your teeth as what you bit down on was hard, unlike the softness of a hand.

a dark chuckle erupts from behind you and you feel their chest in contact with your back, vibrations making you feel tense. they leant down to your ear and pulled out your earphones, whispering in a husky deep voice. “it’s okay doll, i won’t hurt you.”

you were frozen in place, feeling his coffee breath fan over your ear. he leant down a little more to place a kiss to the soft skin of your throat, a small protest leaving your lips. you realised you still had control over your arms and used your elbows to dig in through the thin material of his shirt, repeadly hitting him a few times to try and let you go.

a mocking chuckle left his lips and he quickly turned you around, directly facing you now. you realised it was the same man you served earlier, though his cap was long gone revealing his long brown hair. before you could run away, his hand grabbed your wrists in one fist and once again placed the gloved hand over your mouth.

you stated at his longing dark blue eyes while he stared back at your fearful (e/c) ones. a small smirk rose to his pink lips as he admired your features and you only turned your head away from his, eyes starting to become a little glossy. he clenched his jaw at your actions and dug his fingers into your wrists which earned a small cry from you.

removing the hand from your mouth he rummaged through his pocket for something, but before you could shout for help a white cloth was placed over your nose and mouth. you resisted against him, struggling and kicking about in his strong grasp until the chemical had eventually taken affect on you. everything began to fade away and you felt yourself beginning to skip between conscious, the last thing you heard were the words, “let’s take you home baby.”
