Wait why is Lucie looking at Cordelia instead of looking at Jesse?!?
How I saw no one talking about it and when I realized this problem, I couldn't stop thinking about it
the relationships in chain of gold and chain of thorns are a weird mix in the family tree and bordering on incest (it's not incest because they don't have the same blood)
I can give you an example :
- Lucie and Jesse who share an uncle and an aunt and three cousins in common
- Christopher and Grace who are cousins (adoptive)
for the last example it's not really James and Cordelia's fault but - James Herondale is married to his stepfather's cousin and his who is also the father of his half-sister
Well it's late and my brain is asking a question and now I can't sleep without having the answer so I need your opinion for you if Emma and Cordelia would have been at the same time for you Cortana would have chosen which one two to be its carrier?
I have a question as Kit was adopted by Jem and Jem is a Carstairs, does that mean that « Kit became a Carstairs » and can use Cortana ?
(I'm not talking about Kit as a Cortana carrier but that at one point he is in danger and Cortana appears to give him help because he is a « Carstairs »)

According to multiple quizzes im a Carstairs but my favourite Shadowhunter family is the Herondales.
And that kinda makes sense
