I am by no means an expert but it seems to me “your body does not belong to you” is a major theme of right wing authoritarianism and, interestingly, modern USAmerican thinking. This underpins so much from abortion to forcing kids to hug their relatives. Your body belongs to the state, or God, or your husband, or your boss, or your doctor. Everything from trans and gay liberation to forcing autistic people to look in your eyes to making cashiers stand for no reason. Your body does not belong to you, but taking care of your body is your responsibility and your responsibility alone, and if you fail in some way, you deserve the consequences.

Famous psychology experiments will show clearly how teaching people blind obedience to authority and placing them in a society which emphasizes hierarchy in all aspects of life makes people let awful things happen to other people or just do awful things themselves, and the popular takeaway in public consciousness is ‘humanity is evil and we should just let global warming kill everyone and never try to fix any problems’

Nestle needs to be shut down.

This is not a goofy, ball pit-flavored post. This is about child labor. We need to not buy anything from nestle until they shut down. Not until they stop child labour, but until they shut down. It would not make up for the child labor if they just stop and apologize. They need to suffer, and pay. And an apology is not enough. Any company that even used it once ever must be shut down for good. Reblog (or do not i don't care) to join this movement. We need to french revolution.
