Hello and welcome to Yew-TreeClan, a Clangen blog! I’m Spooks/Rowan (They/He/It) and I’m super excited to be working on this! You may know me from OceanClan, and while it’s not cancelled or anything, this is what I’ll be working on for now. My main blog is @spooky--spookster

I am so sorry for not posting for ages 😭😭😭 I’ve been swamped with collage work as I had an animation assignment. I’ve been real tired, but I really enjoy drawing YewClan stuff. Just a simple moon for now, but there will be more 👀

I am a man of weak will……..

So I did a run of this clan, and really liked how it turned out. It’s definitely going to be a comic at some point, but I’m focused on my other ones for now. I also wanna get better at cat anatomy if I’m gonna be drawing cat things lol!

I’d also want to make this real high quality. Shading, backgrounds, the whole lot. So it would be very time consuming to make, on top of the fact I want to properly script everything and write out the story to be properly cohesive. But, these are the characters for now. My goobers. I’m sure nothing bad will happen to them.

The basic premise is that the clans saw a meteor crash at the top of the mountain, and send three cats from each clan to investigate. A harsh snowstorm settles in by the time they get there, so they hunker down in a cave to wait it out. Hiyoko and Pear are loners that joined, not clan cats.

Kitten trio has arrived in Wishclan! They're currently being looked after by Lakefrost! (And a concerned Mudpaw!) Oof! Quietstep will probably not be pleased to see them in their camp.

I think foxkit is the most concerned about just fitting in and not get on Quietstep's even worse side.

Moon 3 Part 1 of ????

Moon 3 is going to be a couple parts long? since a bit happened that has to be sort of adressed?

Despite the fact that the 'mystery trio"/kitten trio have their bio-mother back.. all their notices have to do with Lakefrost??? It really seems she's truly taken the role as mother in their eyes.

I swear... Mudpaw and Bramblehoney are both playing; "Who can piss off Quietstep the most!" They both seem to find, hang, visit or generally be friends with cats outside the clan/or invite someone in on patrol/or skip..

SOMEONE is sneaking out at night...

Bramblehoney invited Oats in upon a week/moon skip.

Lakefrost isn't too fond of Oats.. guess she doesnt want her to take her babies back from her?

*text between bramble and mud reads:* Mudpaw: You invited her? Bramblehoney: Erh... Welp...
