I’m not 100% sure if I’ll be doing character asks yet, but I feel like it’s better if I answer this anyways..
But it’s just a fur marking! I’m not too fond of super realistic designs, so I wasn’t to bothered about making them look normal. Think about when ppl give firestar a little heart on his chest or something like that! But I figured I’d clear this up now, as I did see some confusion about it haha.
Also, the lil berries on his chest are supposed to look like yew berries 👀

salty-paws are the clans' equivalent of a leatherworker- they skin prey before its consumed and tan the hides. they have lots of tools, but i only featured the glove here! they use the glove for the Big incisions.

Anyways, I hope to get next update out soon-ish, but I’m a bit swamped with collage work (as well as other hyper fixations I want to make art of), and on top of that I’m sorta procrastinating on it cause I’m, like, half writing this all as I go and I’m not sure how I wanna plan out the next issue, so idk how long it’s gonna be 😔 but I promise to update soon :D

Felt like the old refs were very stale and I wasn’t a big fan of them. Also wanted to change a couple things about their designs, pretend they were always like that lol, I’m retconning it. Plus artfight is soon and I’m gonna put these boys up there teehee. The kits refs are fine atm, but I’ll probably change them once they become apprenticed/warriors
