Detective Conan Au - Tumblr Posts

Not sure if this was already bought up as I am pretty new to the tumblr area of this fandom so sorry if this has already been said!

So I was going to suggest an au that whenever the APTX victims revert back to normal then their hair will grow along with them. I kind of found it weird that even though they are basically growing back to normal yet somehow their hair is never effected. Like think of all the shenanigans this can lead to such as why is their hair everywhere more than usual? Shinichi has 2ft long hair all of a sudden and someone help! Having to quickly cut off and hide said hair whilst trying to explain to them the bad haircut you have without sounding insane.

I soon realise a negative side effect being that the facial hair, armpit hair and public hair would have also been effected by this so they too would be very long as well. . . .

I now question wether I should have thought of this or not so have fun with that!

Ok so physicaly or metaphorically speakin? Cause if we are talking metaphorically (or both if you go that way) then a really dumb Shinichi who might not even be aware that he is being dumb whilst trying to keep ahold his stance and oh god WHAT IS THAT? Couple this with Ran who is really done by continuously making sure he doesn’t do anything even more stupid which then makes her the detective to save Shinichi’s fame.

If physically then umm. . Is this gonna effect the body in any way such as emotions and stuff, if so then this will be perfect for angst!

So I’m almost ready to post the next part of the story. However seeing as you guys have already been waiting so long. I decided to drop some doodles your way. A lot of these are practice sketches and ideas for the future of Kogoro Design and story down the road......that and I just kind of wanted to draw Kogoro in a ‘KID’ thief outfit. 

Again the last thing I need to finish is some writing to go with the comic.

               “Megure you got to be messing with me?” Asked Kogoro staring at his former police partner. Megure with Takagi standing next to him shrugged a bit.

               “Sorry Mouri, but I’m serious. The blood is yours and the only fingerprints on anything are yours and the bank members prints. On the outside of the box.” Megure said simple. Kogoro rubbed his chin slightly. Silently deep in thought. First a strange box with a blood note and now more questions then answers? Conan took the moment to change the subject a bit.

               “Officer Takagi? What are all the items in the box? We didn’t touch anything inside. So we really aren’t sure what’s inside of the box aside from the suitcase, the sealed music box, the strange box and envelopes?”

               “In truth we are still looking into that. The envelopes have money and closed notes. The music box has a protection seal so we haven’t opened it yet. The Strange box I’m having a friend look into it. The suitcase well…” Takagi shrugged and looked up for a moment. Megure sighed.

               “We don’t know.” Megure said.

               “Why not?” Ran asked.

               “We can’t get it opened.” Takagi said. Kogoro and Conan sighed a bit. However, Takagi smiled. “Don’t worry. My friend is good with this kind of stuff. She is a bit strange but she is very smart.” Without any warning someone coughed and cleared their throat behind him.

               “Me strange? Takagi have you met yourself?” Said a woman’s voice. Takagi spun around startled and rubbed his neck and chuckled a bit as everyone else raised an eyebrow.

               “Oh. Ha. Sorry.” Takagi said. The girl who couldn’t be that much older then Ran laughed a bit. She didn’t seem that upset at all.

               “No problem. Hi I’m Jessrin Lotus.” She said. As soon as Kogoro heard the gals name. His head felt like a nail had been driven through it.

               ‘I’ll never forget’. A whisper echoed in his head and he felt like his skull was about to exploded. He grabbed his forhead as his heart pounded a bit his head filled with a strange static. Then it stopped. As soon as it started it was over. Kogoro felt a hand on his shoulder and he looked up.

               “Mouri?” Megure asked worried for his friend. Kogoro shook his head shaking away the last of the headache.

               “I’m ok.” Said and gave a slight cough not noticing he was sweeting a bit. Other then that strange moment he felt fine. Jessrin watched for a moment. Curious about what was going on and if this was normal. Then she finally broke the silence and mild worry.

               “So…..I took a look at the item Takagi asked me to look at. And all I can say is wow!” Jessrin said smiling ear to ear. Like a child who find the best kind of candy.

               “Wow?” Conan asked a bit confused. Jessrin nodded a bit.

               “It’s called a ‘Pires Kit’ back when the US colonies were dealing with the ‘Salem witch trails’. These were often found at the homes of these so-called witches. They were believed to be used to help vampire and demon allies.” Jessrin said very excited. Everyone was kind of now both curious and even more confused now. Why on earth had this been in the security box? “It was said that when the witches or warlocks took a demon or vampire allies. They would keep this as a way to give them blood for when they were weak and-“

               “Wait!” Ran suddenly blurted. “Is the red stuff in the bottles blood?” She asked a bit suddenly panicked. Everyone except for the Jessrin girl was now wondering whose blood was in the bottles in the strange box.  

               “Good question. It would all depend on a few things.” Jessrin said. Conan looked up at the teenager.

“Like what? Also how do you know about stuff like this?” He tilted his head. After all. This was some strange info she had just told the group.

“Oh! I know about this kind of stuff, because I’m a part time cryptozoologist. As for the if it’s real blood. Hard to say. Yes, if it is real and has been used. No if it’s a prop of some kind…still worth a lot even if it is a prop. The main problem is that there are only two was to open it. A one of a kind key or the owner pricking their finger on the needle built into the lock. But that is all just guess work Kudo-chan.

“Kudo-chan?” Asked everyone as Conan (aka Shinichi Kudo) went white as a ghost.

‘What! How does she know?’ Conan thought to himself. Worried that his really identity would be known. Jessrin was deep in thought then opened her eyes. Noticing the strange looks from them.

“Oh, sorry um…” She paused and looked at him.

“Conan Edogawa.” He said simply.

“I’m sorry. You just remind me of a friend of mine. I haven’t seen since I lived here over 10 years ago.”

“It’s ok.” Conan said with a sigh of relief. Though he did think to himself. ‘We have met before?’. Kogoro gave a slight cough.

“Any was…All that really tells us. Is that whoever sent that stuff to me. Is really into weird stuff.” Kogoro said crossing his arms. Ran just stared at her dad for a long moment.

“Ran? What is wrong?” Inspector Megure asked. Ran turned and looked at him. Then at the ground.

“I’m just worried. Is someone after Otosan? Or is this a clue to something? I’m just worried.” She explained. Takagi gentle patted her shoulder.

“I’m sure everything will be fine. We’re her to help and this is your Otosan we are talking about.” He said with a smile. That seemed to help put everyone’s nervous at ease for the time being. After a bit of time everyone got what they needed and headed out. For the most part the rest of the day was ok.

 Some time later. Kogoro made sure the kids were asleep before he stepped out onto the stairs heading for the street. He knew he could smoke inside. He just needed a moment to listen to he sounds of cars outside. It was one of the things that helped him focus.

Everything with the strong box and that headache had him worried. Which was kind of rare for him. He lite a cigarette and gentle puffed it to de-stress. As he turned his head, he noticed two letters. One in the ask box and one in the mail box. He was kind of surprised to see one in the ask box already and the other was a thicker envelope. So, he picked the them up.

 The first was the ask. It was a simple question. Yet it made him smile a bit to himself. “What’s the thing I appreciate most about my daughter?” He didn’t find it odd as Ran was always with him on his cases. “She is a light in a dark place.” He said to himself before writing and replying to the note. As dark as some of his cases got. Ran never failed to ether help out or lift him up when he felt at his worst.

He dropped the reply into the ask box and opened up the second letter. The second letter was much large and he found inside several tickets mark VIP.

 Dear Sleeping Kogoro

 You are invited to the grand opening of ‘The Lazarus Club’. Enclosed are VIP tickets. In truth this invite is more of a chance for us to talk. I hope to leave my past behind me. So to do that. I need to speak to the last person; I feel I wronged. You.

                 Kogoro frowned a bit puffing his cigarette a bit more before heading inside.

Sorry it’s taking time....but!

It is taking some time. For making the next part. Hopefully not much longer. But you guys have been waiting for some time. So I could at least hint at something that will be coming up soon.

So here is the cover for File 2: The Demon in the smoke!

1) Detective Conan Fusion: Conan \ Kogoro = Doyle. Conan\Shinichi genius mind and Kogoro skill and charm all tied up into a Dorky looking Detective!

2) Was a random edit I did in MS Paint. Nothing amazing just more bored if nothing else. The idea for the look is Kogoro or Angel struggling with a vampiric change in him. 

3) Poor Kogoro dealing with me and trying to draw damage done on a body. Cuts, sores and bruises. Stuff I don’t normally draw often. 

               Kogoro let out a deep sigh as they got out of the rental car and headed for the address that was written on the VIP passes. He glanced at Ran and Conan before finally asking.

               “How did you talk me into letting you guys come?” Kogoro looked at his daughter with a slight none glare. She smiled at him.

               “You wanted back up! Just in case the ex-criminal is up to something.” Ran said. Kogoro stared at her for a long time. Waiting if she would say anything else before looking down and turning to Conan.

               “Real Reason?” He questioned.

“She said she would buy you that new Yoko mini figure.” Conan said honestly. Kogoro crossed his arms and let out a very deep sigh again.

“Oh…right!” He said and shook his head. It didn’t take long to get from the parking lot to the building. The three of them stopped to stare a bit.

“WOW is this the place?!” Ran asked her dad. Kogoro checked the ticket and nodded. The place was very showy. Some how both fancy yet new aged. So, the club had a little bit of everything for everyone.

 As Kogoro stared up at the building he scratched his head a bit. He hadn’t noticed it before on the ticket or in the leader. But now with the symbol on the side of the building. Kogoro was hit with and odd feeling at the sight of the club’s name.

“Lazarus? Where have I heard that before?” He said asking really no one. Conan was about to speak up. Shinichi of course was a bucket of info even as Conan. Someone bet him to it. A very big someone.

“Most likely you are thinking of Lazarus of Bethany or Saint Lazarus of Christian Bible. It was believed that he was brought back to life four days after his death by Jesus Christ. So, he is often seen as a sign of rebirth or second chances.” Said the figure towering a bit taller than Kogoro. Kogoro jump to the side in surprise. “Oh, I’m sorry. Being a librarian also oddly makes you a chatter box.” He laughed a bit. “I’m Prof. Oxenfree nice to meet you sir.” As the tall man spoke. A teenager peeked around the large man. He had a bit of a punk style to him. Yet seemed kind of nervous. “Oh, and this is my son Mumbles. We are here to meet some friends.” The boy as Oxenfree spoke suddenly got a look on realization. “Don’t mind him. His just kind of-“ Oxenfree kind of was caught off guard as Mumble ran out and started waving at Kogoro. “Shy?” Mumbles made a weird and shockingly realistic police siren sound as he waved his long-sleeved covered hand at him.

Kogoro stared at the boy. Wondering if there was something wrong with him or if he was excited to see someone famous.

 Then it hit him again. That static! That stomach twisting head slamming static like the day before. Yet this time was a bit different. It was more focused. Like it was forcing a memory to the front of his mind. The strange voice and the words on paper ringing in his mind. “Remember. Don’t you dare forget them!”

An image of him as a younger officer holding a small odd child with strange little marks around his lips. The thought and words danced in his mind for a moment. Before the world finally came back around.

“No way!” Kogoro said holding out his arm as the kid nearly tackled him in a hug. Kogoro was almost on the edge of tears. “Hey there kiddo!”. The kid smiled so brightly as the pair hugged each other so tight. Like the pair was afraid that if they let go, they would never see each other again. Conan, Ran and Oxenfree were left very confused.

Seeing as it is taking a lot of time to post new stuff. ( Because of work, being sick, having tech problems and art block)

I decided to post a image of practice art I had. This is a rough doodle of some of the more vampire testing stuff I had for the earlier ideas of the series. Some stuff will stay and some will go...not sure what yet. But over all her be a vampire Mouri. 

Prof. Oxenfree looked at Mumbles. “Mumbles my boy do you know this man?” The younger man started to make some odd sound effects. Sound effects that sound very real for what the mimicked. “OH! It’s the officer who saved you!” The man said with a nod of understanding. Ran looked a little confused at her father.

“Dad, I’m a little confused. Who’s Mumbles. He looks familiar?” Ran looked at the young man and they shared a wave. Mumbles clearly remembered her it seemed. Kogoro glanced at Mumbles who gave an approving nodded.

“When I was still an officer. Mumbles stayed with us. He was very little at the time. His family was abusive because he has an illness called ‘Mimicry Syndrome’. Mumbles can only speak in mimicking sounds or signing. Kogoro then paused for a long time. With an odd look of sadness. A rare thing for him. “Mumbles….I’m sorry I lost touch. After quieting police work….I….wasn’t in a good place.” Mumbles smiled and gave him a hug. Then stepped back making clock sounds.

“He is saying you two have all the time in the world to catch up.” Oxenfree nodded. Then before the group knew what was going on. Oxenfree with his large size wrapped his arms around Kogoro, Mumbles and Ran shoulders. Only missing Conan with his small size. “Come now! Let’s go enjoy the club together. We can even meet our friends inside!” Kogoro and Ran chuckled nervously. Not use to being guide by someone twice their size. Conan chuckled and could only think.

“This should be good.” Conan smirked a bit as he followed the giant of a man.

 Inside the group became even more excited. The club was amazing. A DJ was jamming away getting part of the club excited with music. A somewhat grumpy bartender was cleaning the counter waiting for someone to order. On top of all that. There was even a large oversized aquarium. A very pretty lady was watching the tank. As people talked and mingled.

A Study in NOIR, a DCMK zine

All the way back in May, the Detective Conan/Magic Kaito Fanfiction Server decided to put together a zine project. Many topics were suggested as themes to frame the zine around, but the film-noir aesthetic won out by a lot.

Then we realized about 2% of us actually understood what noir as a theme even means. It's been a long-haul and an interesting learning experience for the group overall and now we're ready to show the fandom the final product. A sampling of our many creatives are featured in the final zine, available to you for free! It is also formatted with enough leeway for print and binding if you so desire.

This is a collaborative fanzine project that refuses ownership over any of the characters or concepts originating from Gosho Aoyama's original works. We do not profit off of this and retain the right to our own art and writing. Thanks!

So, yeah turns out my depression, kidney stones and a mess of other problems. Were because I had a very large tumor (cyst honestly) about roughly 40lbs in size pushing all my organs.

So, I hope you guys can understand why I have been gone. (lol but not really). So, here are some sketches and designs of true monster vampire Kogoro. One edit of Angel. confused younger Kogoro....and a mermaid Takagi Wararu for good measure.

All good things must come to an end. (Meaning a page is on it's way soon. )

Is fate so cruel for a man to meet old friends. Only to have death to come and give their deadly kiss.

Danny Phantom but make it murder mystery + supernatural/horror elements

Basically an idea of an au of which Danny Phantom fuses with Detective Conan. Throw both in a pot. Let it simmer for a while. Add some mysteries to the mix, a pinch of family and comfort, a couple of case solvings, a big bowl full off horror and supernatural elements. Mix them together and let it boil for over to dry a bit before adding a whole gallon of angst.

Boy i just got this idea today and i wanna throw it up here because i do not want it to live free rent here in my head.

Alright, let's get this over with.

There will be a lot of changes like the settings and all.

Alright. Here we go. Jack and Maddie Fenton are still scientists BUT! Both of them are morally dubious and sometimes can be a little bit darker than the sunshine vibe and image that they give off. They do not work for anyone and work only for themselves. They are a renown scientists and people's opinions on them diverge from time to time. Some people are wary and afraid of them while others applauded their works as scientists and look up to them.

Their children are geniuses. The public prefers the eldest daughter to look up to but they adore the youngest son. The children are famous in their own field. Jazz is on her way to be the youngest kid in history to ever enter a prestigious university and making a name for it in the psychology course.

Danny is still a fan of the space. Technically, he gain more benefits from his inventors parents because to appease him and not have him bothered them back in the younger days, they created all sort of inventions that can help Danny understand the space. They give him everything that they could with their money and genius brain. However, they are not a good parents. They still love their children but sometimes they forgot their responsibilities and often ignored them in favor of their own job. They put too much pressure on the children it nearly drove them apart.

Jazz have a love hate relationship with her parents. She is the oldest and the toughest daughter. Yes she is hurt by her parents and their decisions to deal with them but she always could brush it off. But when it comes to her baby brother she will literally explode and rage. Danny is miserable. He was happy when his parents give him gifts like books and inventions related to space. He even have his own small ship. But after the presents, his parents would dismissed him and get lost in their own world ignoring everthing in favour of study and science. Danny is Maddie's favourite child but he is often at the end of her dissapointment and rage. Jack always divert it from Danny whenever he is there. Maddie did not cross the line. However, she nearly cross it when she slapped Danny so hard it bruises when he was 10 years old. That day forever scar in Danny's brain. It happened because of an incident with a precious research paper.

Maddie felt guilty and tried to apologize by giving him more gifts. Jazz doesn't trust her mother around Danny anymore. Jack, ... He ignored everything and decided that nothing ever happened.

Jazz is five years older than Danny. She was 19 years old when her brother Danny, 14 years old goes missing. Her parents went into hiding a week before his dissappearance. She thought that it might be connected. The moment their parents dissappeared, they could not even contact them at all. They were left with money and other things for them to survive.

Her brother was missing for six months with no trace after both of them went to a science expo. Then he suddenly showed all bloody and bruised. He looks haunted. She found him shivering near the Fenton Family main house.

But one major change is that he is now a child. A 5 years old child. She recognized her brother as that child. Of course she would know him. She is his sister. She was the one that mainly raised him in the Fenton Family.

He lied about himself. She thinks that Danny was just trying to protect her. She studied the psychology of humans. Her main subject. She knows the child she dubbed as her Danny did not in fact act much like how a child will. Not even a child that is wise beyond their years.

Danny is oblivious though but she will keep her mouth shut right now. She will wait until he is ready to tell her.

Jazz was afraid for Danny so she let Danny's file be written as a dead file. Cast away to be forgotten for an unknown period. He is officially dead in papers and media. No one knows of the real predicament.

Danny only introduces himself as Niel which is kind of stupid of him even though he was supposed to be a genius child. Really Danny? The name derived from your own real name?

One thing for sure that everything that she knows as something unbelievable and never existed are now flipped over.

Supernatural things are true.

And Danny is the proof of it.

Danny looks so afraid. Those... creatures always goes after her brother and nearly took him away from her. She was afraid for him. The creatures seems enchanted with his presence and will always find a way to whisk him away from her grasp.

She can't see the creatures. But she knows that they are there. Too much evidence in front of her eyes shows that in fact the supernatural exists.

She once saw one of those creatures. It was when Danny was being carried by her. It's kind of weird. Usually when she was carrying him around, she did not see them. But she only sees it for a brief moment.

So she studied more about the supernatural things. She needs to have all of the subjects about the the supernatural and the other side of reality covered because it is important.

Important to protect her brother against the unknown.

Danny, to simply say it, could contact the dead and have the ability that is ... supernatural. Like a medium or liminal. And it effects him greatly. It not only effects his health but his lifestyle. His life. She tried to keep him safe.

Then she met these teenagers who seems taken with Danny. Well, not really teenagers. Only 13 years old boy and girl. It seems Danny have them in his tiny grasps..good. He needs friends and all the supports he could get.

Tucker Foley and Sam Manson are average teenagers at best. They are not in fact, friends. Just acquaintance at best. They always clash with each other. Sam and Tucker's fight rivals the fight between Paulina and Sam.

They always argue with each other and only in an agreement rarely. Danny acts like some sort of glue. Sam wants to see who the child that was adopted by the famous Fenton daughter. She dragged Tucker because he knows the place and has seen the kid.

Niel (Danny) takes her interest because he is something different. A concept she can't grasp. Bonus is that he is involved in something supernatural. Tucker did not like how she is around Niel. He loves Niel but goodness he will be around often with Niel when Sam is around. She will drag the poor child into something dangerous if she keeps that kind of behaviour and thinking.

Jack Fenton came back from hiding but Maddie Fenton is still missing. Jack looks somber and sad. Almost depressed. He said that he needs time away from his wife. He said both of them need time away from each other.

Almost like both of them are thinking about divorce.

Jack believes Danny's and Jazz's lies and is even more sad to know that his son is missing and possibly dead. Having Niel around causing him grief and heartache but he is never the one to lash out. Jack is still a scientist at heart but he will never repeat his mistakes. He has a chance now.

It does not mean that Jack is not going to stop looking for his son.

Danny's first murder case was when Sam dragged him with her and her parents to a party. Jack and Jazz are invited too. They are famous and the rich people there want famous people.

There they met the Gray duo. They met Damon Gray and Valerie Gray. Valerie is in the same class as Sam and Tucker. Sam and Valerie do not get along at all. Even more so than Sam and Tucker. Tucker and Sam agree that Valerie cannot be anywhere near Danny.

Tucker does like Valerie but as in girls in particular. Tucker does have a standard. Damon Gray is in the Police Force. He is in the investigation team. The detective is Mr Weston. Wes's father. Wes is actually one of the junior detectives learning under his father's teaching. Wes is usually seen hanging around Tucker and sometimes Valerie.

Crime happened and there was a lot of blood. Danny was at the scene having witnessed the murder happened. He can't see the face of the culprit but he knows other things like the culprit voice, height, and body shape.

He is under witness protection. Danny wants to tell them that something is going to happen to the killer. That something is angry. And that more people will end up dead if they did not find the killer quick.

Danny helps Wes and his father find the killer. Wes is suspicious of the Niel kid but oh well. Wes is 13 years old. Wes does know that Niel is hiding something and he will uncover it but he did not want to face the wrath of one Jasmine Elena Fenton.

A spirit is involved in the story between the murderer and the victims. That is the first step Danny is involved in the world of crimes and supernatural mixed in.

Okay people. I know that Danny Phantom fandom part of this tumblr app is all over the top with DP X DC crossover and for me i think that is overrated. (Except for Danny adopting superboy which is my favourite part and i will die with it-)

Yes DCMK people. I am a menace and i would love my favourite gremlin supernatural show that has too many traumas packed in it to meet another anime that have both murders and traumas but like it really did happen.

Death x Death am i right? No? Okay.

Okay guys, let me go to the point.

Conan Edogawa aka Shinichi Kudo posing as Danny Fenton, Sam Manson and Tucker Foley lovechild.

Imagine it people because i thought that this would be hilarious.

Like hey, why is this clearly asian child is your child?

He looks like the combination of the trio. Danny's eyes and hair. Sam's sharp features. Tucker's and Danny's intelligence. He has their mannerisms. Everything about him screams the trio except this child is an asian.

They can say he is adopted. Or they can be very vague about how he is brought to the world. Maybe danny has asian blood? It would be hilarious if the trio do have asian blood in their bloodline and no one can argue about it.

Conan meeting the trio and the family? Yeah. I like the total chaos because his secret will not last with them.

I like the idea of a happy family Fenton so no. This au i am thinking of will not have Fenton parents dissecting their son or making experiments and all. This au will have them both redemption to their children.

Jack and Maddie will absolutely spoil their grandchild. Better. Get Danielle in there. Conan has a big sister now.

Hilarious thing is, if a Fenton child stumbled in a murder scene and police all over it, the child would be let in.

Because they know even though this family is freaky, their intelligence in this department rival their most promising detectives in solving murders and all.

This family reputation is all over the world. I mean, this family has too many permits that it is even humanely impossible and is able to scare the government to back down from their back.

A Shinigami child meets a half dead human being.

No secrets can be kept in this household and because Conan is a menace.

Combine him with Danielle.

Yeah.

Big fat chaos.

Anyone want to hurt him?

Don't worry they won't be able to make a move.

Yeah, no one knows the person exists.
