DCxDP Fanfic idea: Rude Kryptonian
Danny Fenton is prepared for a lot of things when Vlad calls his parents and asks to take his godson for a summer. Things would have gone differently if Danny's hero business hadn't made him a "troubled" kid. He was failing a lot of his classes, sleeping or ditching most classes and not to mention all the random injuries.
They were worried he was becoming some kind of gang member. (It hurt a little they assumed the worst of him and not worried that something bad was happening).
His dad was convinced that Vlad could somehow set him on the correct path.
Now Vlad had moved on from trying to be his stepdad and forced Danny to be his son, but that didn't mean Danny liked him. Or that he could forget what he put him through.
So he was less than happy to pack his bags and be driven to the airport to board Vlad's private jet. His parents lectured him the whole time, warning him to not be a bother to his uncle Vlad, and to behave. Jazz just looked anxious, practically begging her parents to change their mind.
They did not listen, and Danny was thrown onto the jet after getting past security. He was not surprised the plane went off course due to "mysterious" wealther a hour into the trip.
It was like they purposely flew into a thunderstorm, complete with harsh winds and rain. His plane crashed landed in the middle of nowhere thirty minutes later.
He was less surprised he was the only human on board - Vlad had tricked him once before with a ghost pilot. Why not again?- But at least no one, but Danny was hurt.
Jeez, couldn't Vlad think of anything more original? Then again, the definition of insanity is doing something over and over again, expecting different results.
Danny sat in his chair, having escaped the crash with only a few scrapes thanks to his powers, fuming at his parents and Vlad. He was so distracted he did not notice the hurried rescue team that surrounded the broken metal.
He did however notice the man who ripped off the top part of the jet, floating in the air in the most ridiculous outfit he's ever seen.
"Are you alright, son?"
"Are you?"
"What do you mean?"
"Look at you. Look at what you're wearing." Danny gestures to the stranger. He ignores how the stranger's blue eyes start to glow. "You can't honestly tell me you're alright in the head looking like that. "
The man frowns "You're not human"
"How dare you! I have rights!"
The stranger fumbles, looking suprised "no. No, I meant you're like me- a alien"
"I'm not illegal! I have papers!"
"Not that kind of alien-! I'm Kryptonian!" The man floats down to Stanford beside Danny's seat. He reaches out to carefully ripe away the metal trapping him. "I think you may be as well, based on your biology"
Danny squints "How do you know my biology?"
"I used my x-ray vision to-!" Danny gasps, reaching out to slap the man across the face before covering his body with his hands. The man seems more startled by the fact that he was able to push his face to the side and then the actual slap.
"Stanger danger! Creep! Fruit loop!" Danny cries, turning intangible and flying out of the wreckage. "Stay away from me!"
He flies at his top speed, ignoring the call from the man. He can feel him following, and yes, he may be faster than Danny, but he's also solid and visible. Danny uses his powers to his advantage, losing him after a twenty minute chase.
It's only after three days of trying to get home that Danny realizes he's futher away from home than he originally planned. As in an entirely different world? It feels like it since Amity Park doesn't exist, much less, his friends and family.
Thankfully, he finds a nice little city that reminds him of the ghost zone for him to rest in. His new neighbor is filled with colorful characters, and there always seems to ve something happening keeping him on his toes.
Maybe this summer won't be so bad after all.
Meanwhile, Clark is panicking that a new Kryptonian had fallen from the sky, crashing landing near Ma and Pa's place only to have the boy disrespect him and escape. Now it's a race against time to find him before it's too late.
Also he was a little mean.
But where would he go?
Gotham. Danny is in Gotham, and he's yelling at people who keep trying to spray chemicals at him. He's having the time of his life.
Hey check this blog out, it's cool
When you’re traveling it is important to ensure you don’t take anything from its original realm and introduce it elsewhere, it could become an invasive species and ruin the lands. Always dust any plant matter from your coat, check your pack for insects. Double check nothing has crawled into your pockets.
If you find you have made such a mistake, regulatory authorities will not be happy.
Luckily, they didn’t notice the platypus, but then again, neither did I until it was too late.
Prompt 123
In place of August Eleventh, Promptapalooza 4/ If you ask Jaskier, dimensional spells were a bitch. That sorcerer was a twat! Blasting him and Geralt with his stupid cursed amulet boosting his stupid powers stupid man making his witcher all frustrated and sad! "Damn it!" Geralt snarls as they appear in a... Very small room. It's pitch black. "Don't fret, Geralt, there'll be a way out, I'm sure-" "Just- Shut up for a moment, Jaskier." "Right! Shutting up right away! Just as soon as I-" "Jaskier!" Jaskier huffs, and begins blindly feeling for some way out of the room. He feels a stick and gasps with excitement. "Oh, Geralt!" He swings the object around blindly until he hears the unmistakable sound of the bristles of a broom smacking directly into the side of Geralt's head. "Jaskier." "Sorry! Didn't mean to! Though you must admit, it's kind of humorous in it's own way-" *growling* "Alright maybe it isn't! Gods." Suddenly brightness blinds them as someone yanks the door open. "Can you damn kids stop trying to fuck in my supply closet!?" A man in weird clothing yells at them. Jaskier stammers a bit trying to think of like, any response, before Geralt just drags him out by the arm. They're in a bright building, with white walls that don't... appear to be stone or wood? And there's SO many people around. And they're all dressed... similarly to them. "Dude! Nice contacts!" A man in black with white hair says to Geralt. "I love your Jaskier outfit, did you make it yourself?" "Um no, I bought it." Jaskier says, to a man who looks remarkably like himself. "..Um, where are we?" Jaskier asks the man, and the man stares for a moment before letting out a soft chuckle. "Ohh! Yeah, it's easy to get lost. You're by the signing booths. What are you looking for? Merch? Photo-ops? Cosplay contest?" "A contest?" Jaskier asks, with excitement. "Yeah! Over who did the best cosplay of The Witcher! Are you going to enter as a Dandelion/Jaskier?" "Yes, I am!~" Geralt is desperately trying to find a way back to his own dimension, waiting for Yennefer to open a portal to find them, but it gets confusing when there's at least forty women AND MEN here dressed exactly like her. Jaskier meanwhile is busy throwing a tantrum over getting second in some contest, but Geralt is more worried for their lives, thank you very much. "SECOND PLACE! In a contest over who looks like me, I got SECOND place, Geralt!"
No one knew him.
His father was still alive.
His Sharingan acted like it had always been his.
Kakashi was twenty-two years in the past of a different world.
John Constantine beat the system of life and death until it fully refused to touch him anymore, and when it did, it never went well. It was a fact that the League had come to terms with, or those that knew, anyways. None of Constantine’s past could explain the kid in fuzzy pajamas that was curled up on a chair in the Justice League’s control room asking for the elusive brit.
Danny had barely made it to high school graduation only to be thrust into dealing with the millennia of bullshit waiting ever so patiently for the King of the Infinite Realms to look at. The fact that there was a weird amount of paperwork filed regarding some dude named John Constantine that looked like the weirdest form of tax fraud he’d ever seen was puzzling, and his parents committed that regularly. He has no idea what the hell he’s looking at.
Alternately: Danny is the inter-dimensional personification of the IRS for Death and the Unliving, and he just has a couple questions.
First of all your writing is amazing 🤩🤩!!!
You give so much life to your writings.
So I've been seeing a lot of snippets that have Danny claiming Dani as his child and also somehow carrying the cores to her clone siblings. And I was wondering how you would depict that. Maybe with a Dan maybe not. He could be living with Vlad or maybe he had to flee Amity and gets found on the streets by one of the bats if he's in Gotham or Alfred is the one who brings home the stray. Maybe he's Bruce's kid maybe not. He doesn't even need to be in Gotham. Maybe it lines up with Lian and he somehow saves her (I forget what happens to her).
Danny had only been in the new dimension for about thirty minutes when a terrorist attacked. He had originally traveled there with them since Clockwork promised if he relocated in a timeline so far away from Dan. He would allow Dani- de-age to five though her mental state stayed the same- and the cluster of her clone siblings' cores to live.
Clockwork claimed that Dani and the clones were destined to be corrupted, causing more devastation and death than Dan. They would expand their mercenaries' attack across dimensions and timelines, wiping out millions and millions, and so the clock ghost had enlisted Danny to destroy them.
He had gone under the condition that they would leave Dani alone, but when Danny saw the clones' cores, something in him had not been able to kill them off. Seven of them rested in a nest-like ectoplasm cave, and even though they were locked within their cores, Danny could hear their little heartbeats.
Could sense the being within, resting like a child in a mother's stomach.
It sounded a lot like an ultrasound, but he quickly found out only he could hear them, for Tucker, Sam, Jazz, and Dani had only seen glowing egg-shaped targets. He had thrown himself over them, begging them to not harm the children.
Danny didn't know where the connection came from, but there was no denying that there was one. He had bonded with the cores, and he wanted nothing more than to care for and nurture the children that were forming within.
Clockwork's deal hung heavily over his head, but after speaking to his friends and family, he decided to move far away for the children. He would be a single father to Dani and her seven siblings, worlds away from everything he knew and loved.
It is Difficult, but other parents have left their home countries to try and give their kids a better future before. He could do it, too.
Danny would even share his natural ectoplasm with the cores to help them grow like a ghost incubator. Yes, it would weaken him, but no more than any other person who was pregnant, and he would not have to deal with mood swings or food cravings!
He bid his family fair well, taking with him funds from Sam and Vlad, and had hopped over. Dani held his hand, and his core children were safely tucked into his backpack in warm towels. They had five suitcases with them, taking their essentials - such as government documents Clockwork swore would be what that world used, clothes, food, and the few techs they could carry- and had stepped through the spinning portal.
He had stopped between the two worlds, turning back only once to wave goodbye and ignore the tears rolling down his face.
His mother had called out, "Don't look back, sweetie. If you do, you'll never be able to see your children in front of you!"
Danny had turned and not looked back again. He and Dani were dropped in what looked like a large city. The first thing he wanted to do for them was find shelter, so he wiped away his tears, helped a sobbing Dani clean her face, and then marched them away, hoping to find an apparent complex with a vacant room that would be open.
They had just been passing by a sweet of houses when the bombs went off. Dani screamed, throwing herself against Dani's leg as houses started to crumble around them.
For one heart-stopping moment, he imagined the cores shattered like eggs, shimmering against the red of Dano's squished body. Danny had dropped their bags, gathering Dani in his arms and flying to the closest shelter.
He invaded a house, pressing his daughter and her siblings against his chest as more and more bombs went around the city. With a cry, he threw the strongest shield he could muster around them, encasing his ectoplasm in ice, but still, the blasts rocked the house and tore apart the building. Trust Clockwork to throw them into a war zone!
"Danny!" Dani screamed as large bits of the ceiling fell onto the shield. It caused cracks on his shield, and the ghost boy gritted his teeth to strengthen them. He had just feed a lot of his power to the core not even twenty minutes ago. He's basically tapped out. "Danny, I think there is someone in the house!"
I don't care, Danny thinks ruthlessly. You and your siblings come first.
"Danny! I think it's a kid!"
Danny's tunnel vision of keeping his kids safe suddenly shatters as he registers the screaming. It's high pitch and frightened, someone young. It's coming from upstairs, just slightly above the rocking and booms of the city.
"Danny! I can't go ghost; you need to help them!"
But his kids-
"Danny, please!" Dani screams, looking up at him with her tiny five-year-old face and the burning protective core in her eyes.
He can't say no to that. With a flick of his wrists, Danny freezes the inside of the shield, encasing it a second time until only a small hole is left. He throws the backpack carrying his other children into his eldest's arms with a command: "Protect your brothers and sisters!"
He had to force himself and reach deep within to grab hold of what little Ectoplasim he had left, but twin rings of lights formed around him, shifting him from human to ghost. He could tell that the transformation wouldn't last. His limit is likely fifty seconds, but that's all the time he needs.
He flies through the hole, going intangible to the rumble and blaze, flying through the crumbling building until he spots a little girl humbled up and crying as the ground breaks underneath her. It feels as if everything slows down as she starts to fall, descending into the flames that burst around her- a bomb had been flung to the house, and it detonated upon impact- and Danny knew that if she hit the ground, she would die.
Danny knew what he had to do.
He would be cutting his transformation time, but it was a sacrifice well made. Phantom pushed everything he had into flying as fast as he could, reaching her just before her feet hit the flames. He curled his arms around her, pressing her to his chest and encasing her small body as best he could with his ice like a hastily made baby carrier. Then, he flung himself backward towards the first floor, where his children were waiting.
His vision started going blurry, and his flying was uneven. Intangibility failed him as rocks and fire slammed into his back. The little girl he rescued was protected from most hits, but he still curved around her, ensuring that if anything went to her, it would need to go through Danny.
They slammed into the shield, his ice retreating long enough for them to phase before the entire building collapsed. Danny hit the ground hard on his side, absorbing most of the impact as best he could for the girl, who was covered in inguires.
"Danny!"
Dani's horrified scream was the last thing he heard when the world faded to black.

No. No. No. No. no
Roy ran as fast as he could through the destroyed city, racing towards where his safe house and his daughter once stood. When the reports of Prometheus first arrived, he had known that Star City was among the target places, but when they showed him the map of the areas, his heart fell through his body.
He hadn't stayed for the briefing, had ignored the outraged cries of the heroes, and he knows he just hurt his chances of being in Justice League, but none of that mattered.
Lian needed him!
He heard Dick and Jason not far behind him, likely noticing the same thing on the map, but he could barely think as he leaped over destroyed buildings and rescue crews. He almost had no idea where he was; nothing looked the same, and dust and devastation were everywhere.
Only when he spotted a lump of crumbling wood and rocks he realize this was supposed to be his street. The broken building before him was his house, and it had been wiped from the face of the earth.
"Lian!" The scream that was ripped from him was inhuman, grief-stricken even as he crumbled to his knees, trying to push the wood out of the way to reach his daughter. "Lian! Daddy's coming. Danny's here! Hold on!"
He threw everything out of his way, desperately clawing at the heavier bits, but even as he spoke, his sight was blurry from his tears. Dick and Jason quickly helped him, letting pieces and moving stones with steady but sadness clouded their faces.
He's seen those particular expressions on the Bats before. It was during their search and recovery missions.
They were looking for a corpse.
No. no. no. no. no Please not my little girl
"What is that?!" Jason called out, pointing to a large caved-in roof with a faint green glow. Roy looked up, half numb from everything, to watch Dick and Jason push the roofing off with a grunt of effort.
A dome of glowing ice appeared, and he could make out the three figures inside it. The ice cracked, shattering as Roy stumbled towards it, eyes unfocused.
Then his gaze sharpened when his daughter's tear-covered face turned to him. She held out her hands with a sob, " Daddy!"
"Lian!"
He raced towards her, stumbling over a few steps, but he had his daughter in his arms, warm and safe and, most importantly, alive.
"Daddy, the alien saved me!" Lian said, "He's hurt!"
Roy can bring himself to leave his head from his daughter's hair, but he hears Dick take control, racing over to the alien that was crumbling on the ground.
"Stay away!" a young voice said- which- was the alien a child? He peaked one of his eyes up, only glazing at the sight of a body and a little girl hunched over them in a defensive posture.
"Hey, we mean you no harm. We just want to check on your friend there," Dick tells it.
"He isn't my friend, He' s my dad!"
"That's great. Does he need medical attention?" Jason said, stepping closer only to back away as the girl bared her sharp teeth. "We just want to help."
"You promise you won't hurt him?"
"We promised. He saved someone really important to us."
"You won't hurt my siblings either?"
"If we find them, we won't-
"They're right here with Dad. They just aren't born yet." The girl cuts him off, patting her father's back and the little bag.
Shit. The alien was pregnant? And he risked not only his own health but his unborn children for Lian? Roy doesn't care which side this alien is on, how they got to Earth, or what they planned to do.
He would protect them with their lives.

DCxDP fic idea: The Summoned Demon
Danny is sitting in class, trying to make sense of Mr. Lancer's explanation of the light getting through Scrooge's nightcap in A Christmas Carol. The light symbolizes him trying to suppress memories, but he cannot, so it passes the cloth he clings to when a portal appears around his desk.
He doesn't even notice it is forming until Flash screams. He turns his head to see what the bully plans to do to him- because he always intends to bother him somehow- only to find the blond pointing down to the ground.
Or, more specifically, the glowing circle of runes leaking ectoplasm in a slow swirling mess, filling until it reached the middle—right under Danny.
His other classmates also scream when they notice it, but before they or anyone else can do anything, the portal fully forms. Danny makes horrified eye contact with Sam and Tucker before he falls. His scream is louder than the rest, but it's quickly cut off as the portal slams shut.
Danny was not expecting to be thrown through a portal in the middle of the day without his Ghost Scense even being triggered, so instead of thinking rationally and shifting into Phantom, Danny fell. He fell through green swirls of green and black, his nose picking up a disgusting smell of copper, and he flew in the air.
The free fall finally stops when a second portal appears at the end of the slightly downward tunnel. He slams into the hard ground, an echoing splash accompanying his shout of pain, and his tailbone is probably broken when he lands on it. He groans, rolling to his side and hissing in pain.
A few swears escaped him, nothing too bad, but if his mother had heard him, Danny would have to pay half of his allowance in the swear jar, cursing his darn luck.
Some liquid is around him, quickly splashing onto his clothing and on the right side of his face as he presses it to the ground, trying to ease the ache from his fall.
Danny can barely think through the pain- ever grateful that his healing factor was kicking in. If only it stopped him from feeling pain in the first place.
After a moment, he has the strength to pop open an eye and take in his surroundings. He is left staring at a large dark room lit only by candle lights, a fair amount of figures in dark red robes stand a little further down from the stage he sits on, and the horrified faces of three naked teenage girls tied to pillars on stage with him.
Danny sits up, water dripping down the right side of his face onto the ground- He seemed to have landed in some kind of shallow pool, likely would only reach his ankle were he to stand- and gawks.
At once, the room reacts.
When the figures realize Danny is looking at them, they all fall to their knees, bowing so low that their foreheads touch the ground. The candles all start flicking from yellow to dark green flames, making the atmosphere more unsettling.
The three girls start to struggle against their binds, yanking on the ropes that are pulling their limbs in four different directions, but it's to no avail. They are stuck, and they cry against the gags tied to their mouths.
Their cries are what snap him from his confusion.
Danny quickly turns his gaze away, pressing a hand to the side of his face so they do not appear in his peripheral vision. He is not sure what is happening in the world, but he knows to at least respect the women.
One of the figures, wearing a giant head crown around his hood so likely the leader, left its head. It sounds male- old, maybe late to middle sixties- but Danny can't understand a word he's saying.
It doesn't sound like any language he's ever heard before. He just knows that the tone is excited and awed. When he is done speaking, the rest of the bowing crowd starts to chant in that strange, fast-paced language.
"What? What are you saying?" Danny tries, but their chants are louder, and he is still looking at the dark-colored water-covered ground. The chanting grows in volume, and a new circle of runes appears around Danny.
His eyes widen, and he lowers his hand. He turns his back on the girls splashing through the water and lowers his head to try to make out what the symbols are saying.
If they are under the control of whoever those hooded people are, then he is not entirely sure he likes them. He squints, straining his eyes to try and see them clearly, but the green flames are blending the light, and he can't make it out.
"What is this? What are you doing?!" he demanded of the people, forcing himself to stand and turn again to the crowd. He quickly turned his head to the side when he spotted the pillars.
Right, he does not like that they are tied up like that. He needs to get them out. Worried that they will try to stop him, Danny presses his feet firmly into the ground and sprints towards them, pushing some of Phantom's strength into his hands.
It's not a full transformation but it should be enough to give him a little help in setting them free.
The girls' cries grow louder, and they cower away from him. Danny feels bad, but he has no time to reassure them as he reaches towards the metal chains of the one closest to him. He wastes no time in ripping it apart—surprised to find it fall apart like paper.
They had seemed pretty thick, but maybe it was all for show? Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, Danny quickly releases her from her bonds. She screams, kicking at him and throwing punches in a desperate attempt to get away.
He hardly feels it though, pushing her gently away, so he can reach the others. He hears the hooded people cheer, chant, and praise in crazed tones, but Danny has no time for them. He is busy ripping away the chains of the other two.
He then leaps downwards towards the hooded people. They all startle, likely not expecting Danny to come for them- though why they would assume he wouldn't is a mystery- he reaches for the one closest to him.
He grabs hold of the hood, turns it transparent, and pulls it off a teenage boy who is gaping up at him. The teen is shirtless but thankfully wearing pants. Danny turns to the two others next to the boy, doing the same, and is a little surprised to find that they are all teenage boys as well.
The one with the headpiece says something in an "A-ha!" voice, and the three boys pale. They start to beg, their voices raising in panic in that strange language, but Danny ignores them. He rushes back up the stage to find the girls cowering in the center.
They tremble as he throws the stolen hoods at them.
"Here, use that to cover yourselves." He tells them, determinedly turning his gaze to the side. Danny is pretty sure they can't understand him but he hopes his message is clear enough for them to get it.
A cry is heard from the crowd of people in red robes. He twists around, fist raised in case they try to do something to the girls, only to blink in surprise that they are dragging the three boys towards him.
The male teenagers are kicking and screaming; one is crying, and another manages to break away from the hold but is quickly tackled by another. They are thrown at Danny's feet, the rest of the figures chanting.
The last teenage boy weeps, clinging to Danny's leg and begging.
"Dude! Dude!" Danny yelps, stumbling back a bit, but the stranger clings to him hard, not letting him go. "I can't understand you- get off of me!"
One of the red robes, rushes foward and starts to tug at the boy's pants- attempting to get them off against the guy's will!
Danny feels hot rage fill his entire being as he reels back a fist, smashing it against the person's head. "What the hell are you doing!? Leave him alone!"
Now Danny only meant to daze the other person, maybe knock him out if he was lucky. What happens instead is that they are flying clear across the room, smashing against a far wall and slumping to the ground.
The room goes dead silent.
"Wha-?"
That's when the window above them is smashed in, and a man dressed like a bat falls on top of Danny. He yelps, smashing against the ground. Danny flings him, but only barely.
Three other figures follow the weirdo in the bat suit, attacking the people in robes. Their actions blow out the candles, plunging the room into darkness. There is nothing but chaos and screams, so Danny blindly reaches around him, finding the six teenagers and pushing them behind him.
He stands protectively over them as the sounds of battle echo. Eventually, it all goes quiet, and a flashlight is shone on the group of trembling teenagers.
Danny raises his fists, ready for a fight, when one of the teenage boys calls out, sounding to be pleading with the attacking furries. The four figures pause outside the light- their white pupils, eyes narrowing at Danny.
He has never seen ghosts like them before, and he yanks the boy back lest they attack. Danny shifts until he stands before the group again- protecting them. One of the girls- now wearing the stolen robe- managed to remove her gag. She cranes around Danny, speaking in near sobs.
Whatever she says seems to satisfy the strangers, who carefully step out of the shadows. Danny eyes a man in blue, another in a red helmet, a teenager clutching a staff, and a small boy wielding a sword.
He also notices the light is reflecting the dark liquid.
It's red. A nasty horrible dark red that smells like copper.
"Blood," Danny whispers, horrified, looking down at himself covered in it. "This is a kiddie pool of blood."
He knows the strangers are speaking to the teenagers; he can't understand a word they are saying, but there is a rising in his ears. His breathing is coming in fast pants, and he can't look away from the blood that is literally covering his entire right side.
His hands are dripping in it.
The man in the bat suit clutches his arm, speaking slowly, claiming tones. The man takes slow breaths, tightening his grip on Danny's shoulder and repeating the actions. Danny realizes that he's attempting to get him to copy his breathing. He's having a panic attack.
It's been a while since he last had one. It was during a terrible ghost fight that Jazz's suit malfunctioned and she was rushed to the hospital, cloaked in red and clinging to her life.
Danny had never been so afraid in his life.
He is honestly grateful the man seems to be aware he's not going to calm down on his own, and he quickly stabs him with a needle. The world turns dark and blissfully silent in an instant.

"We saw him protecting you." Red Robin tells her gently. "We aren't going to hurt him."
"Do you promise?" Jack asks, his voice still trembling slightly. He is on the ground, holding out his leg so Nightwing can diffuse the bomb strap to his ankle.
The cultists had kidnapped anyone from the age of fourteen to seventeen who was unfortunate enough to be at the park the day before. To prevent them from running away and ruining the sacrificial summons, they placed bombs on all of their bodies.
The girls had been the ones who were tied to the altar, but the boys were plan B in case the demon preferred males. The bombs would explode if they got too far from the stage.
For a second, Jack had thought they were all done for when something had fallen through the manic cultists' portal. It had spoken in harsh, rapid hissing noises, rolling around in the blood before sitting upright in near statue-like stillness.
Jack had been relieved when it had approached the girls in the dark corner of his heart. If it took the virgin girls, he would live and leave unharmed. Then, it rejected the sacrifices for him and his two friends.
Jack had been sure that there was no escaping his fate, but if he could offer himself to the creature- no matter how human-looking it was- then at least his friends would be spared. He clung to its legs, begging it to choose him as a meal or a bed warmer instead of Liam or Alex
He made offer after offer, praying it would choose him and not his best friends, as his friends beg Jack to stop. They went ignored because the demon wasn't looking convinced; if anything, it looked disgusted.
He had only a few seconds of terror when one of the cultists ordered him to strip for the demon when it had defended him instead. Three tugs on his pants were all it took to send the monster flying- and he didn't mean the demon that was summoned.
He hates to think that after all it did for them, the Bats would punish it instead.
"You have my word," Batman growls, holding the demon over his shoulder and vanishing into the darkness. The rest of the Bats vanish with him.
Jack sighed in relief as the doors were kicked open, and the police rushed to the scene. He gets to live another day, and his boys are safe, too. That's all he could ask from this hellish nightmare.
