yes there are two beds but one has bad vibes so we have to share sry
Why the fuck does this dmv not have chairs (i know some dmvs do but in my experience they only gave them to seniors and people with children and those with visible disabilities and I don’t bring my mobility aids cause I’m worried probably for no reason of being some kind of denied or poorly treated or something idk ). I have been standing for an hour and I am in pain but I know if I sit on the ground I probably won’t be able to get up. gahhhh. also the accessible entrance is literally so far from the main entrance like wtf. Also also it’s hot in here cause if so many goddamn people
Why are spaces that are meant to accommodate so many different types of people so damn inaccessible

Say What's Real by Lunatic
Young DMV rapper, Lunatic is back with another release, Say What’s Real. Following up to the hugely popular, Moment 4 Life (Cover), Lunatic delivers more personal, intimate lyrics in this one, without losing the edgy, feel good sound. Themed mostly around failed relationships and pain, the track doesn’t shy away from revealing the many struggles the rapper’s suffered, or how driven he is for success—which is something his fans, particularly the ladies, will definitely appreciate. Stay tuned for the release of his highly anticipated debut mixtape, "Living In Reality"!

Lyrics:
Get high as a plane, but I'm living up in hell. I stay in b*tch*s' heads like a play with brain cells. And if you n*gg*s got them Macs, than I guess I'm pushing Dells. And if you n*gg*s think you sick, than I guess I'm pretty well. Wait, you probably wouldn't understand that. I always play harder, you automatic and I'm standard. And I heard you n*gg*s pussy, so I guess you transgender. And your girl gave me her ass, so we had a fender bender. When they hear me spit, they say I'm colder than December. And I'm hiking up this mountain, so I'm heading up to Denver. And I'm finna beat, but I ain't talking about Nathaniel. And I'm saying God's my judge, when I'm speaking about Daniel. You dudes are full of games; you take the role of the pretender. You's a victim in the game, and I'm just called as the offender. Ain't no way that you is winning, best of luck best to surrender. I stand straight on any surface, like I carry up suspenders.

Welcome to our 2012 list of the 11 HOTTEST music artists that rep the DC Metropolitan area.
We are not making a list of who we feel is the best, only who, in our opinion, had the best year. Hence, the emphasis on HOTTEST. Please note that there is no specific order this year.
The purpose of this list is to shine a light on the great talent coming out of the DMV and the amazing impact that they’ve made as “local” music artists over the the last year.
When we say local artist we just mean that they are from the area, not confined to it.
We decided to change it up this time and list music artists instead of just rappers so you will see a great diversity of singers and rappers, both signed and independent that have been making a name both within DC and beyond.
This list is based on who we felt had the made the most noise inside and outside the D.C. metropolitan area by way of buzzworthy shows, social media following, tours, videos, albums/mixtapes, singles, publicity, street buzz, industry co-signs and other music-related things that kept the artist’s name on the tip of everybody’s tongue in 2012.
Again, this is a list of artists who we feel had the hottest year so this is no slight to other artists who may have been named in the past or feel they should be on the list. The shift in format from just rappers to also include singers bumped many deserving rappers who had a more quiet year 2012 than they did in 2011.

The city selected a new operator for the troubled Lincoln Theatre back in April, and now, finally, we know who it is. I.M.P. Productions, the company that owns the 9:30 Club and books Merriweather Post Pavilion, will take over booking at the U Street NW venue beginning in September, the mayor's office announced this afternoon.
The Lincoln, a historic music venue and former movie house, is owned by the city, which took direct control of the theater's operations in 2012 following years of shaky finances and inconsistent booking by a nonprofit. While it's been run by the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, not much has gone on at the Lincoln, but the agency has been pursuing a for-profit operator for the venue since December.
I.M.P. has booked shows at the 1,225-seat theater before, including sold-out stands by Jeff Tweedy in 2010 and Jeff Mangum in 2012. I.M.P. chair Seth Hurwitz wasn't available to talk this afternoon—he's on an airplane, he says in an email—but says this in the press release:
