I genuinely didn't expect this, it made me really happy, so I think this calls for a bit of a celebration!!

I'm hosting a Dtiys!

Rules:

•You may change the perspective of the drawing, but please don't change the pose too much!

• feel free to give Void's design your own twist! It would be interesting to see you guys make them a bit more your own:]

•Please use the tag #GreenstarDtiys or tag me so I can easily find your art!

• Do not use ai, gacha life, gacha club, gacha life 2 or any other character creator!

Prizes:

1st place: A full body drawing with shading of up to three characters

2nd place: A full body drawing with shading of one character

3rd place: A full body without shading of one character

4th place: A half body without shading of one character

5th place: A half body sketch, coloured and without shading of one character

Honorable Mentions: an uncoloured sketch of one character

I doubt that there will actually be 5 or more entries, but I figured I'd create prizes for them anyway, just for fun!

After the deadline, I'll make another post mentioning whose won and further details on your prizes!:D

Shoutout to the person who gave me the idea to do a different turtle for each milestone. I wanted to use a similar outfit as Leo's but with a specific Donnie flare, idk if I captured that buuut. yeah, 1.5k / 2.2k followers dtiys ! That's fuckin crazy man. Thank y'all :) (1k dtiys can be found here)

Rules + ramblings + alt versions under the cut:

Rules :

- 1.) you can use whatever iteration of Donnie you like with whatever au or version you want (including human vers.) as long as the outfit / color scheme remains in tact . Use ur sona, ur own design, an au, future Donnie. Go wild ^_^

— you can edit the outfit as long as it’s still recognizable and pink (jacket + skirt + leg warmers are the main things)

- 2.) similar to the first; pose / background doesn’t matter as long as it’s a similar color scheme. Also preferred that you have “cherry pop” somewhere in the drawing but whatever vibes with you

- 3.) @ me in it and tag it with #slipp2kdtiys !! <- most important one

- 4.) no deadline ! + not a competition , just for fun

Help I did this sketch back in May but kept procrastinating on it and redoing it, then I finally cleaned it up recently

Honestly I have this problem with art where I try drawing something but I just end up... improving too fast? To finish it. That's what happened with this drawing. I ended up redoing it maybe 5 times, because every-time I sat down to work on it I just kept noticing mistakes I made with the last version. So I'd scrap it and completely redo it, hoping to get it right this time. But it just never turned out.

I didn't have a good idea of my style or technique; I first drew the sketch during an in-between period with my art. Where I had drawn other things I knew were what I wanted, but had no idea how to recreate what I wanted.

Thankfully, I've gotten to a point where the message of "it's better to be bad and finished than not finished at all" has finally drilled itself into my head. And I think the fact that I've finally gotten used to my own art style also helped. I finished coloring over Donnie sometime a couple days ago, when I accepted that I had to work with the sketch rather than against it. That it was better to get it done (even if I had to reuse some assets from my last one,) than to leave it permanently unfinished.

tbfh the thing that got me to finish it was realizing I could do some cool lettering lol but I think that's enough

Rules:

You cannot make major changes to major details in pictures (like the tablecloth, the chairs, both characters' faces and poses, and the tea set and teacups they each have)

You can change the not-so important details like the background and the food on the table

Barely or maybe I missed the deadline for just a few hours, I have reasons tho lol 😂

💎I was on a vacation, came back last week. I got sick right as I came back, diarrhea and vomiting were as surprise comeback present lol!! I also had periods while I was sick,so it was MESSY. And today while I was trying to finish this drawing, the power cut out for like 6 hours. So as you can see luck hasn’t been on my side lately, all of this happening while I have exams by the end of this month, is just TOO messy lol 😭😭😭

💎Enough about me, for the drawing I came up with my own idea of what the dtiys theme correlates with Juno’s “canon” story. And I included some special guests, to be more exact their hands lmao 😂😂 I wonder if you can figure out who they are. 👀👀

💎To be honest, besides the unlucky situations, I was struggling sketching this concept, I had to scratch my first draft, cause I wasn’t into it. I’m happy that I did that, besides the fact that deadline was coming close. I hope I did Juno’s looks justice, I had fun especially figuring out her hair and her booba lol 😂 I wonder if my theory somewhat is related to her canon story, can’t wait to figure it out someday!

P.S. 🔥🔥🔥I HATED DRAWING THE CHAINS!! 🔥🔥🔥They were too time consuming and I couldn’t make sense of how physics work on them lmao 😂😂

Yet another DTIYS from Instagram. I really like ibu_chuan's OC Pairy. She's so cute with her starry theme and the colour scheme 🥺

I don't think I portrayed Pairy's cuteness much justice in my style but I still like how this turned out.

There also was meant to be a speedpaint on my YouTube but my video editor said ✨no✨ while it was exporting. I'll try to get it up but that won't be for another few hours
