Last year I made a playlist to write fic to. It is 3.5 hours long (whoops), made with fellow Dark Urge players in mind, and inspired in part by Neil Newbon's own Astarion playlist.

Meet My Durges: Kieran Bhaalspawn/Baines
The main thing you need to know about Kieran is that he is my Durge for Idris' universe, Idris even adopting Kir as their brother because found family
Created from the dead flesh of Bhaal, Kieran was “born” in Menzoberranzan amongst other Drow and was taken in by a couple.
When he came of age and his Urges began to manifest he succumbed to them quickly, killing off not only his foster parents but his entire house.
He fled not only Menzoberranzan but the Underdark entirely, finding his way to Baldur's Gate and taking shelter in the sewers.
Drawn by his dreams and Urges, Kieran stumbles on the Temple of Bhaal and swears his fealty to his father
He grows up there alongside Orin who he actually become incredibly close to, though they are distanced when Kieran comes to lead the Cult of Bhaal.
Kieran, spurred on by dreams from Bhaal, unites with Gortash and Ketheric to steal the Crown of Karsus and dominate the Elder Brain.
But, in the process of planning everything and the heist and their stint at Moonrise, Kieran falls in love with Gortash and neglects Orin further, pushing her away more and fueling her jealousy.
Orin betrays him, he gets tadpoled, experimented on, and then shipped off on the Nautiloid.

Act 1-2
Meet my Dark Urge. I have so many thoughts about him and Astarion during my playthrough that it got me writing and drawing again!
His name is Jaezak. It doesn’t mean anything, just a cool name I came up with.
Chaotic Neutral. He kills if he feel like it.
About 30.
He/him with a vagina. Not nb or transgender, but a secret third thing (intersex).
Half-Drow. Well, he looks like it.
Storm Sorcerer as god intended.
On his path to redemption with its ups and downs, accompanied by the bunch of people who are not the best influence. They are all trying (except for Minthara, she’s a lesson that not everyone can — or should — be redeemed; they kept her as a mascot).
Daddy’s Murder Prince with hyper-sexuality, no identity of his own and self-destructive coping mechanisms.
He bonds so fast that he was ready to fight god for his friends by the middle of Act 1. Half of them didn’t even counted Jaezak as a friend at the time (ie Astarion lol).
He’s a stupid bitch acting before thinking so, uh, he kind of accidentally (but not really) raided the Grove.
Act 3
I’m working on a fic set after raiding the Emerald Grove. Also I’m trying to remember how to draw again.
Prob Jaezak is one of my most interesting OCs and I’m really exited to share his story!
I’m obsessed with the idea that Durge and Astarion knew something about each other before nautiloid. They’ve walked the same streets, lurked the same dark alleys, spent their nights at the same taverns.
Maybe they were in the same room, too busy with their targets. Maybe they’ve heard vague rumours about each other that sounded more like city legends. “Bhaalspawn? Yeah, and I’m an archduke, my ass” sort of thing. Maybe they’ve even saw each other across the ballroom, hiding their faces behind the masks at Cazador’s party. “Don’t touch that one, Astarion. No need to make enemies with the cultists”.
How tragic that they’ve never really met. Even more tragic, if they would have met, it wouldn’t change anything in their lives at the time.
I’m cackling every time I think about my half-drow Durge Jaezak right after nautiloid crash bc post-lobotomy he looked like a floor mop with greasy hair full of knots and a fuck-ass beard.
Astarion thought he’s an ugly stinky mf and he didn’t believed his eyes when he first saw Jaezak clean and shaved. It was the ‘Oh’ moment.
Understandable though, his face card declines only if you lobotomise him.
Do you think Durge and Astarion sometimes so high on adrenaline after the battle that they just licking blood off each others mouths as they making out with ugly sloppy wet sounds

“Oh great Master, what do we call you?” the Kuo-toa interrupted Astarion’s thoughts.
“It would seem they are going to worship Astarion now,” Gale said to Tav, joining her among the Kuo-toa before the altar.
“Oh, Hells,” Tav sighed. She sheathed her sword and crossed her arms, watching Astarion cradling Rosary on the altar. Astarion glanced over the gathered crowd. If the Kuo-toa worshiped him, it would give him a little extra power, and he needed every bit of power to kill Cazador and keep Rosary. Astarion seized the opportunity.
“My dutiful subjects, how keen of you to recognize my might!” Astarion announced to the Kuo-toa. “I am the god Astarion!”

Thanks for tagging me, @xxnashiraxx! This is from the same fic that I shared from earlier this week, a flashback to pre-BG3 events to not spoil too much of the plot. Post-coronation angst for ya:
Henri was shaking, one of her hands anxiously swirling a glass of wine that had yet to touch her lips, the other anxiously tapping away at her kneecap. Astarion covered her frantic tapping hand with both of his own, picking it up and cradling it much like he had the night he confessed he had feelings for her. “Sensed my dislike of this Gortash figure, did you?” Astarion softly teased, slowly rubbing her hand between his two, trying to summon warmth from his dead flesh to gift to her living that desperately needed it in the chilled evening air. “For all his talk about missing you he certainly didn’t look for you all that hard.” “I was down the hallway being sliced apart and put back together by that necromancer. Whatever it was that Gortash and I had...it wasn’t enough. I wasn’t...” Henri didn’t finish the sentence, her gaze intensely focused on the deep purple of her drink spiraling inside her glass as Astaron wrapped an arm around her, drawing her in closer, “With hair like that, Gortash did not strike me as a man who makes wise decisions.” That earned him a small snort of laughter from her. “Did you see his shoes?” “Good gods, those shoes. I suppose the circus he got them from is close by.”
