who were your other favorites from this year's eurovision outside of conchita wurst?
But of course I had some other favorites from this year’s Eurovision! Obviously, Conchita Wurst is my top choice, but here are my other picks that I personally liked, despite these songs not breaking into the top ten. Iceland’s entry was just so fun and colorful and positive, I couldn’t help but smile as I watched their performance.
Finland got shut out from the top ten, but screw it, I loved this song and the band definitely brought some lively energy to the show.
Greece continues to surprise me this year with a swag-tastic performance that ended with some bonkers trampoline jumping.
Romania’s fantastic duet was just sublime! That piano ring! That sustained diva note! That sing-hug move! Yes to everything about this performance!
And while this song was not in competition, Emmelie De Forest once again blew me away with her encore of “Only Teardrops”and her stunning performance of “Rainmaker”.
So that’s about it! I’m looking forward to next year’s Eurovision lineup!
I can't be the only one who listens to Emmelie De Forest's "Only Teardrops" and immediately associates this song with Thorki?! I mean, COME THE FUCK ON with these accurate lyrics that describe their dysfunctional relationship so much:
