Some of my favorite asoiaf horror movie moments
-bran warging summer and eating human flesh and then waking up in his own body to find his friends eating suspicious “pork” that the creepy undead ranger with cold black hands mysteriously found in the woods
-bran’s weirwood visions culminating in him watching a man get sacrificed to the old gods and him being able to taste the blood
-honestly just bran adwd chapters in general
-aerea targaryen getting infected with parasitic fire wyrms that cooked her from the inside out and writhed under her skin before bursting out and dying
-ramsay in general is straight out of a slasher film like ok mr. winterfell chainsaw massacre. skinning people alive and hunting people through the woods
-shoutout to the impeccable horror vibes of adwd theon chapters in general even besides ramsay. like wyman manderly feeding people human flesh and trees speaking and people being murdered and the crypts and theon going to moat cailin and meeting ralf kenning who was rotting alive from a poison arrow and having to put him down…. chefs kiss
-qyburn being a creepy little mad scientist medical horror thotty…. saying that the people he was experimenting on were “used up” and saying that falyse stokeworth couldn’t feed herself?? Human centipede ass…..
-both dany and aeron’s shade of the evening trips…. specifically dany seeing a feast of corpses and a man with a wolfs head and aeron seeing urrigon with his arm rotting and full of maggots and then his face peels off and it’s euron instead
-brienne fighting with biter and he pins her down and starts chewing on her face and she thinks “he’s eating me!” and then he opens his mouth and she thinks he has a super long red tongue but it’s actually gendry stabbing his sword through the back of his head
-the tyrion adwd chapter where the shy maid is sailing through the stone men stretch of the river and the mood is so tense and everything’s foggy and it’s mostly quiet except for lemore praying and griff’s chain mail clinking and then tyrion makes the big aegon reveal and tension comes to a head but then the stone men attack and he gets dragged under the river by what are essentially stone zombies
-dunk winning his trial by battle and he’s thanking baelor breakspear but baelor’s voice sounds funny and he takes off his helmet and his BRAIN falls out cause it had been holding his shattered skull together
