Can we talk about the parallels between Kellogg and Nate..
They’re both over a hundred years old using technology, while still looking somewhat young.
Wives and babies killed, Shaun always dies.
Killing machines used by powerful forces, the Institute and US military.
Kellogg comments that Sarcastic Nate (which is arguably canon) reminds him of himself.
Nukaworld is basically Nate’s Kellogg arc. GOD BLESS THE U S OF A
What I find interesting about Colonel Autumn is that he's a parallel to the Lone Wanderer in the ways that matter.
Autumn was around 19-20 when most of the people around the Oil Rig died. The Lone Wanderer was 19 when James left the vault, leaving the Overseer to go mad and have security kill a number of Vault dwellers. Either way, both lost everything on those fateful days of their lives.
Both of them have deceased scientist fathers.
When you invert blue, you're left with orange, and in some cases, beige. LW wears a blue jumpsuit, and Autumn wears a beige longcoat.
Both are the de-facto driving forces behind their respective sides. While Owyn and Sarah do stuff with the BoS, more often than not, the LW is the one doing things like getting the G.E.C.K., destroying the mobile Enclave crawler, etc. Despite Eden being President and outranking Autumn, the Colonel is still de-facto leader of the Enclave, and has more control over it than one may initially think. Furthermore, you cross his path at various times in the story because he's actively looking for you. From Project Purity, Vault 87, Raven Rock, and Project Purity again. He is very much active in going against you.
Both of them are President Eden's only (living) confidants that know his secret.
Both get hit by the radiation spike in Project Purity and survive. (LW in Broken Steel)

Something I made a couple of years back. Man, I love Gob.
This is an AU of my Fallout 3 Lone Wanderer, Sal. In this AU, after Catherine died, James decided to leave Sal to be found by another instead of raising her himself. She ended up being found and taken in by the Enclave (and specifically Colonel Autumn because I'm a Colonel Autumn stan). Basically, she goes through the plot of FO3 from the opposite side. I love her and would die for her.

This is Aria. She's the Lone Wanderer in this AU. She is James' oldest child, so her and Sal are sisters (YES YES I KNOW HOW THE CANON GOES CATHERINE HAD TWO CHILDREN IN THIS AU DON'T QUESTION IT 😭). She initially blames Sal for indirectly causing her father's death (as we all know James sacrifices himself to try and beat the colonel) and constantly vows to kill Colonel Autumn herself. But she realizes, at the very end, that she shouldn't take away Sal's father. The only thing Sal has left. She's totally pining after Harkness.
Falloutober Prompt 1 - Okey Dokey
I wanted to represent the idea that's seen in the show that Lucy slowly loses her naivety, as seen in her "Okey dokeys", except using Sal. She starts off kind and caring and sweet and innocent, but as the plot progresses, especially when she thinks her father is dead (hence her wearing his coat), she becomes much colder to the wasteland and those who've taken everything from her.

Falloutober Day 2 - Little Fish
I took today's prompt to mean, say, a little fish in the big ocean. Sal is a 19 year old girl in this big wasteland. I also included the idea that she feels incredibly small in the shadow of one of the most feared men of the Capital Wasteland (hence the literal shadow!)

This is President Eden. This is the human form of him, anyway. He managed to contacted the Institute and have his own synth form created to make himself far more personable to his people. He's taken the form of a roughly 40 year old, 5'7" White man with brown hair and dusty blue eyes. He also, thanks to a bunch of things, can feel feelings more than he used to. He's incredibly confused by it.

So, today I went ironic. Hospitality means welcoming and treating guests with kindness. The Enclave does... the opposite of that. They invade and take over, and who else but Colonel Augustus Autumn to lead that "warm" welcome?

So! I'd like to thank @deerhillsniperservice for letting me use Arin, Alan, Arlen, and Aaron for this prompt. We've been discussing and now apparently Sal is part of the family, regardless of how silly her new brothers (Alan and Arlen might be...)
Col. Autumn is tired of their antics. I love them to bits.

Falloutober Day 8 - Rattle
This is shortly after the colonel found Sal. He had no idea what he was doing, and he didn't know how to soothe her... until he happened to find a key ring for a vertibird in his pocket. I think this is genuinely the cutest thing I've ever drawn.
