Made me Do (Queen of Mean)
I decided to do a quick follow up fic to the Queen of Mean AU. I’m leaning towards a ship. Can you guess what it is by the end?
Marinette smiled amicably at passing staff as her makeup was done. The sun was bright and shinning. The park with its slopping hills and the beautiful green grass was picturesque. Half of it was cut off from the public. The shoot would last a majority of the morning and a bit into the after.
The head makeup artist cooed over her bluebell eyes and raved about her beautiful “exotic” features; which nearly made Marinette sneer. Oh the things she put up with.
But she had to. Time for childish naivety was over. She needed her name out there. She an “in”.
And while she never wanted to be model, never desired the spotlight, never wanted more than to be a fashion designer and for clothes to leave the world in awe, never wanted more than to be nice and good and to live her dreams just as she dreamed them… Marinette understood…
The world wasn’t kind. It was a tilted stage. Everyone played their own little games to get ahead. So Marinette was forced to play a role she never wanted.

first of all, here's a doodle of what i imagine lady clarity to look like, her akumatized item is a magnifying glass that fires energy beams. if you're hit, your phantom heart pops up and starts spewing your thoughts and emotions
second of all, Nathaniel is absolutely thriving off the drama that is felix and marinette pining for each other like a fucking forest of pine trees. he hopes they dont confess for like another six months because this is great writing material

Loving the Lady Clarity doodles! What if the akuma occured b/c of Lila (the whole revealing your true thoughts/feelings powers targetting her for being a fake) and that's how Lila's lies become exposed? Would Feralnette not care at that point or be kinda salty towards the class? Like, what if after getting hit Lila's phantom heart spoke about all the vile things she's done to Feralnette & LB & who HM really is? I can see Gabriel going "Oh sh-" before Mari arrives to kick his ass.
I imagine by that point, Feralnette is off being Ladybug trying to stop Lady Clarity from forcing anyone else to confess their receipts. Adrien by this point hasn't been hit, he's checking up on his friends and making sure everyone's ok!

bonus: Felix trying to make good on that promise with an extremely hesitant Adrien attempting to be the voice of reason
i’ve done the horrible deed of not showing that Felix is also feral. Their favorite hobby other than fashion is stealing fashion related items from people they deem undeserving of them - his newest victim is his ‘Uncle’ Gabriel, obviously.
Luckily, they have a chance to flaunt their skills with the stamp of approval from their favorite person :)
Felix really gets into the thievery thing the minute Marinette gives them a longer ethical leash on the matter

Wait a minute…papa Tom doesn’t seem too hostile towards Nathalie. Or at least she doesn’t seem nervous/blackmailed. Does Tom not know her past allegiances or…is there an alliance in play?
Viceroy employs many in his arsenal, and as far as Nathalie is concerned, Tom is a coworker. :)

It was a ladyblog salt fic i think, i can only really remember one scene, where marinette just got to school, and is walking thru the halls and everyone is like glancing at and whispering about her and how it was marinette who got alya the interview with ladybug in the first place?
Ive been trying to find it for like 6 months now, i just think that particular take is so intersting.

The reason the blog was getting into hot water was like alya posted something and then ladybug came forward and said "thats nit true" basically. But i cant remember if it was the one where ladybug made a blog (im pretty aure its not LadyBugOut) or OH WAIT I REMEBER ANOTHER BIT
Aurora the stormy weather girl also had a blog!! It was like a meme blog, called bugcatz or bugsancatz or something And i think ladybug gave HER an interview? Like the day before the hallway scene

listen adrien has 4 girls after him, two of which are absolutely mean and nasty people.
it is only fair marinette gets an asshole in her harem too. give me felix meeting marinette for the first time and falling absolutely head over heels in love with her. he ends up transferring from his private school to collège françoise dupont just to be near her. lila and chloe never get another chance to harass marinette because felix always swoops in and gives them the evil eye.
and god forbid if anyone ever makes marinette cry because this little shit knows how to ruin lives.
