There's a bit of context I can give for the left one, I feel like Floyd isn't perfect and that sometimes he would go into a traumatic war flashback and Janice would have to call the boys to calm down Floyd. Plus I feel like Floyd and Janice have a vibe of a " not so perfect " couple. The best example of this is the Scene from the Muppets Series where
The Mayhem had a big argument on their way to Floyd's parent's house
Dr teeth knows how to calm Floyd the easiest since they've had the most time together out of the group. Plus before the rest of the mayhem joined the band, Teeth had to learn quickly how to calm Floyd down since it was just them two w/a baby animal

But where the two songs differ is how the chorus is used

the rest of the band mates surrounds Od looking at them with daggers like their the outlast or they don't belong
The start of the song Animal can be shown banging on a Steel trash can looking more ragged than normally does. Than when rest of the instruments goes in than the rest of the band can be seen on an stage
Dr teeth comes out ( in his MTM outfit )
Odyssey is trying to get their attention but they ignore her.
How it continues is that Teeth forces Odyssey to dance with him going through all the years they've known the Band in the background , but the longer they dance , the angrier Teeth gets, like he's holding back a punch.
Each musical Break Teeth let's Odyssey spin and club lights turns on and disorients her.
Floyd & Janice sing the part " Boogie all night long " while Lips & Zoot sings " never danced like this before?"
When the song ends the Stage fades to black , Odyssey is back in the outfit that She first met the Mayhem in , crying down is all their makeup 💄and as Teeth Sings the last part , all you can see is the shine of his golden tooth & all their eyes glowing

This is how Odyssey Views but their thinking but they don't actually mean that to her irl ( In real life ) but that's how they betray their feelings.

Dr. Teeth, born Gerald Teeth Jr , grew up in a strict and conventional household. The Teeths had been in the dentistry business for generations, and Mama Teeth was determined to see her only son follow in the family footsteps. She was a formidable woman-stern, with a voice that could command a room and an unwavering belief in the path she had laid out for her son. Music, in her eyes, was nothing but a distraction, a noisy hobby that had no place in the Teeth family's legacy.
Teeth discovered music in his early teens. He would look through the windows of concerts and gigs that people would have at bars downtown. He did though have a record player that he would hide under the bed, he would play the music when his parents were at work on late nights, trying to mimic the piano solos with the dusty upright his father had reluctantly allowed him to keep. Every time Mama Teeth caught him playing music, she'd drag him away from the family piano and back to his textbooks, her lectures always the same: "You're a Teeth, Junior'a . Teeths don't make noise, they make careers." Too frightened to challenge her, teeth would mutter, "Yes, Mama," and bury his love for music under piles of dentistry and chemistry books.
