Chelia grinned in response. Not only had she gotten cookie ingredients all up her arms and front but she had somehow gotten it on her nose as well. If Carla had been here she would've had a heart attack, luckily the Exceed was out running an errand.
"We gotta get down and dirty, Wendy!" She gestured to her flour covered self. "Yukino's float cookies aren't gonna make themselves!"
The dragon slayer simply huffed and went back to whisking the cookie batter. Chelia was right. They needed to make these float cookies or Wendy and the other dragons slayers would be horking up their lunch.

"Don't let them corrupt your mind. Loke's a player and Gray has plenty of kinky skeletons in his closet." Lucy told her fellow spirit mage. The blonde sat perched on a stool, legs crossed classily and eyes playful as she stirred her drink with a thin straw.
She was attracting the stares of quite a few men but none approached them because of Gray and Loke. Probably assuming they were the girl's boyfriends and not each other's.

Jellal stared at the computer screen with bleary eyes, repeatedly blinking as he fought to stay awake. He went through file after file, his head dropping lower with each click.
"Ay, blue." Someone whistled at him, like he was a dog that needed to come inside. "You still awake?"
Jellal turned his chair, so that he could put a face to the voice.
One look and he knew who it was. Cobra. A member of the Oracion Seis gang, known for his adept skill in poison and blackmail. Two things identified this man as the Oracion Seis' snake charmer.
First was the scar that sealed shut his left eye, to fine a cut to be anything but deliberate. Some rumors said the gang's leader, Brain had cut out his eye as a punishment, others said that Cobra cut it out himself. Jellal didn't know which one he believed. Both options were to horrid to even think about.
Second was the tattoo, the one that had given him his name. A long purple snake tattoo circled his right arm, from wrist to shoulder, traveling up the tanned skin. It was so well drawn it almost seemed real. The snake's slitted acid green eyes seemed to watch him, as it would uncoil and strike if he harmed its host.
"Wow." Cobra looked him up and down, twice. "You look like you need to catch up on a week’s worth of sleep."

Natsu and Gajeel did not have dragon lacrimas. That's why Acnologia had defeated them. Sting and Rogue would never be defeated by a dragon, for they had dragon lacrimas. They had obtained those magic lacrimas from the the dragons they had slain, Weisslogia and Skiadrum. The weight of that sin heavy on their shoulders.
"They were your parents." Natsu had snarled at them.
Parents or not they were dragons, and it was a dragon slayers job to kill dragons. It was their strength. Even if those lacrimas, that strength, had come with a terrible price.

The Renaissance Festival is a special event that comes around town once a year, and it brings wonderful things with it, a glimpse into the medieval past that attracts all sorts of people. Including two young woman with a thirst for fantasy.
"This is so much fun. We should do stuff like this more often." Mirajane sighed, leaning into Erza's arm, their elbows already linked, like two fine ladies.
Never mind the fact that Erza was dressed in a full suit of armor, the metal shining silver and clanking with every movement. Mirajane was clothed in a sheen of a dress that accented each and every one of her curves, top to bottom. She also wore a flower crown atop her head, two curled horns poking out the top, it gave off a very forest fairy vibe. They looked a treat, dressed up splendidly for the Autumnal Renaissance Fair.
The walking path was lined with medieval themed stalks on both sides, vendors selling all kinds of things; crystal necklaces, witches brooms, blown glass, and sweet smelling incenses.
However, Mirajane's armored escort was more attracted to the things in the edible variety. Erza's eyes were always on the signs advertising turkey legs, funnel cakes, and all kinds of snacks on sticks that had no real reason to be on a stick aside from the aesthetic of it.
Lots of men, women, and children were dressed up for the occasion, wearing crowns, dresses, and dragon scales. The events weren't what people came to the Renaissance Festival for, they came for the medieval atmosphere. Here you could be a round table knight, a wizard, a dragon, or even a princess.
One princess in particular was awestruck by the knight on Mirajane's arm, her flowing red hair and metal apparel making her seem like she'd jumped straight out of a fairy tale.

Gray rolled his eyes, looking back towards the road. He wasn't gonna let Natsu's whining distract him, the last thing he wanted was for them to get in a wreck on the highway.
"Poor guy." Erza sympathized from the shotgun seat. There were Ray Bans over her eyes and bare feet up on the dash, a bag of beaver nuggets in her lap.
"Yeah," Lucy agreed. "Getting car sick is the worst thing on a road trip."
"Why did I even come on a road trip? I'm a fucking dumbass." Natsu gritted out, then careened over, banging his head against the car door. "Stupid, stupid, stupid."
Before Gray could agree, saying 'yeah, you are'. Lucy cut in, pulling Natsu away from the door and preventing him from causing himself further brain damage. "You're here because you wanna go to Universal and see the Jurassic World attractions, remember?"
