The Shehab Family’s Story
I’ve been speaking with Fahed (@danashehab) and he’s asked me to share his family’s story with you all.
Fahed is a husband and the father of 5 children ranging from 1.5 years old to 14. Fahed is also responsible for his mother. His family’s home was destroyed due to airstrikes and he and his 7 family members have been displaced within Gaza 10 times. They are currently in Rafah living in crowded, unhygienic conditions under constant threat of attack.

Hello, I am Mahmoud Jihad. I was an outstanding university student with excellent grades and I had a house. But now, because of the genocide, I have nothing and my family but a cloth tent to shelter me , I lost my house and laptop and my university are destroyed.
My old is 21, My life has been dramatically altered by the ongoing conflict in my homeland. I am currently living as a displaced person in Deir al-Balah after losing my home and everything I knew in Khan Yunis.
I was once a dedicated student studying Information Technology at Gaza University, filled with hope and dreams for my future. However, everything changed when my university was bombed, leading to the suspension of classes and depriving me of the education I valued. The airstrikes also destroyed my home and my personal computer, cutting me off from essential resources and connections.
Today, I find myself in a temporary tent in a displacement camp, living without basic necessities. For the past 10 months, we have been deprived of water, electricity, and access to nutritious food. My father is unwell, and my brother is in treatment, leaving me to bear the heavy responsibility of caring for my family amid these trying circumstances. I long to rebuild our life in Khan Yunis, but our current situation makes that seem almost impossible.
Despite these overwhelming challenges, I refuse to let go of my dreams. Education is my pathway to a better life and a chance to help my family and community heal. However, I need your help to leave Gaza and pursue further education in a safer environment where I can gain the skills necessary to support my family and contribute to rebuilding our home.

I am Ahmed, 31 years old, with my wife Asmaa and our children: Mohammed (9 years old), Kareem (6 years old), Namer (4 years old), and Sahad (1.5 years old). We have faced many challenges in this war, starting from the destruction of our home to the famine we continue to endure in northern Gaza.
My son Mohammed suffers from motor and

This is our home that was destroyed in this terrible war.

long story short, my friends Alaa (@alaajshaat) and Bilal lost their tent after the Khan Yunis massacre and had to sleep on the street for a while. they are now in an extremely unsafe location.
all places in Gaza are dangerous, but being forced to stay in an unsafe location because they have no other choice is especially dangerous. needless to say, i am worried sick about them especially because their fundraiser has been stagnant for a long time, with a few donations here and there coming through that help them survive yet another day. but it's not nearly enough.
as of today, 08/14/24 they have: $ 23.783 / $ 25.000
everything helps. even $1-2 genuinely help them out. please never underestimate the power of small sums.

My name is Sameer Al Khaldi. I am a Palestinian refugee living in Gaza with my family of 17 people in a tent facing the worst war in human history. During the current Gaza war, my house was completely destroyed resulting in the loss of my business and all our belongings. Me and my family have since been displaced in the streets with no shelter, lack of access to food, drinking water, and healthcare necessities. Despite we were camping in areas which were announced as safe, we faced an imminent danger of death by Israeli airstrikes in our camping neighborhoods several times which resulted in serious physical and psychological impacts on us as well as my little grandsons. I am writing this fundraiser hoping to get help with your generous donations to evacuate Gaza immediately to a safer country.
Before the war, we were having a normal life in Gaza having our own business and working hard with my sons and brothers to be able to survive under the Gaza siege. We were preparing for my daughter's wedding which was supposed to take place this summer but unfortunately she got all her wedding dresses and belongings gone with the destroyed house. She's now left with nothing hoping to be able to get married to her fiancé in a safer place one day. One of my sons was supposed to complete his high school education this year and was passionate about enrolling in a university to study business but the war deprived him from this success and left him hopeless while seeing other students in the west bank receiving their high school certificates while he's left behind.
