Gege When I Fucking Catch You - Tumblr Posts

Happy Pride month to THEM ~✨️
WAIT I HAVE MORE THOUGHTS
Megumi looks different in the same way that Yuuji did since the end of the Shibuya incident - which comes as no surprise, it makes sense,
But Gojo's hair is different too, he also looks... Not exactly himself. Is it just me or does he look like the person who's been possessing his body? Even the top & shoe color....
Also, do these changes happen during substitution training on some level? Like, does Yuuji resemble Kusakabe since then?

At the end of ch. 80, Gege leaves this note.
I tried to look for symbolism related to tuna that fits Mahito but idk if there is anything, or if gege just thought it was funny or felt like drawing another fish. (it was clear that Mahito turned into the fish, maybe he wanted us to know it's a tuna?).
Mostly I saw that tuna used to be a last resort food, but recently gained a much higher reputation - is this a sign that Kenjaku wouldn't eat Mahito in his current state, unless that's all there is? That Mahito would become something that he really wanted to absorb?
Kenjaku did look forward to the possibility that Kokichi Muta (mechamaru) would push Mahito into that state during their fight.
That's all I got, so I'm letting this one go. Let me know if you think of anything else.
Also I updated my character analysis of Mahito, but it's worse and more disturbing and I hate it (fr I only recommend this if you're already rly uncomfortable w him but haven't placed why) but I rly don't see it being related to the tuna
This might be a reach but I'm trying to notice more things, right

Gojo showing up to the station in Shibuya, and getting dumped by Geto - there's a black dog in the background of each. (like a sign he's about to revisit that time, meet 'Geto').
Before I only noticed the black dog café sign, and thought it was foreshadowing Gojo meeting Megumi. Here, I think the black dog (that's basically a silhouette, a shadow) represents Megumi's shikigami.
In the station, there's an 8 over the black dog (the one that survived, btw) and 8 looks like an infinity symbol. It could also be in reference to Mahoraga, or specifically the halo thing over its head.
The next panel:

If I really want to reach, I'd say those 4 marks could represent Sukuna's eyes.
It probably does not matter (but I can never trust that it doesn't matter when it comes to gege) so
Is there a reason why Sukuna doesn't have nipples...?
Was he aware of the milk jokes and just. Omitted them from his own design (I still say that gege secretly started that rumor just bc he would. If it's anonymous then he can't get in trouble yk?)
Was sukuna born without nipples?
Were they removed later? He seems no stranger to body mods.
This reminds me how his right eyes seem to be coming out of tree bark, and Kenjaku said that you can think of Tengen like a tree, and it rly seems like Tengen was Sukuna's mother (or something... I'll make that into another post).
Anyway, idk what Sukuna's eyes were like when he was born. I don't know when he got all those tattoos.
But sukuna does a lot of binding vows so maybe he sold his nipples.
Is anyone else drawn without them? (sighs in things to look for in my 4th manga read).
I feel like I need to know more about Todo and Yuki’s relationship as mentor and mentee. Like they seem the same flavor of person which is very different from what gojo and megumi have going on.
But also Yuki is very adoptive “dad” coded in the way geto’s relationship to the twins is very adoptive “mom” coded.
In that Geto seems to take on primarily a caretaker role than a mentor while Yuki is more a trainer and life coach than she is a caretaker. Which is something you don’t really see given to female characters in anime.
Like Todo lives by her words and fights by her example. Everything he knows about jujutsu she taught him and Todo’s a very skilled and violent fighter and that reflects back perfectly on Yuki’s own fighting style. It’s so very anime mentor it’s insane she is just introduced to us as Todo (this absolute menace’s) teacher before anything else. I’ve never actually seen a female anime character be introduced this way.
in contrast to Geto who serves as the caring parent who was tragically taken from the girls violently and too soon and the girls wish to honor him and live how he would have wanted them too despite the ungodly situation they find themselves in. Which is such a stereotypical anime mom trope it’s almost funny. He even fits in with the still very much in love with and still speaks highly of the father that abandoned the family in hopes that the kid will one day understand and forgive them. He is essentially the mom from Full Metal Alchemist.
Gege that fucking deranged cat actually flipped the script on us and it’s so interesting which is why it’s so frustrating how little we actually end up getting off yuki when all her little scenes point to such an interestnn in character.
She is introduced as one half of a crazy dynamic that we never actually get to see put to screen and that’s such a shame. Because Yuki is such a welcome addition to the tropes of female characters we need more female “dads”
Merry crisis everyone.
I am in so much fucking pain.
