soft & sweet sentence starters
The woman was surprised, to say the least, that such a statement would be made. She knew it had to have been in jest, because let's face it; there were too many a time where Mai had heard words similar to that of this man's own and have no real hidden meaning behind it. A soft huff leaves the woman as she then closes her eyes, lips curling slightly into a small grin. "Nah. But I think I'm the one who is jealous of how pretty the moon is."
"I wouldn't be me if I was so easily censored."
"So what's your name, sweetheart?"
Inner beauty, huh?
That was an entirely new thing to be told. Sure, she'd always told herself that but hearing it from someone else? That wasn't quite common. Hm. "I suppose you've a point." Mai answers softly, her head tilting while she closes her eyes thinking it over. "You really have no filter on what you say, do you?"
"You know it."
"So, Mai. Do you believe in Vampires?"
Wait a minute...
Wasn't that a play on the name Dracula?
"Alucard - interesting name."
"You're speaking with the real deal. A REAL fucking Vampire."
"Alucard, at your service."
Vampires?
"I've heard a few stories. Never met one myself."
"Well, good thing I'm your first, because you are quite the looker."
"So is this maiden taken?"

"....How interesting. Certainly a first."
"That's good information to know for later~ Assuming my boss doesn't decide she wants to fuck me over with my social life."
"Plus she does it over the phone. It's always over the phone. Also mainly because I don't like arguing with her in person. I get a hard on, it's super awkward."
"Anyway. So, Mai. Got a last name?"

That, she'd heard of before as well. Her lips curl slightly at this.
"Maiden? No. She is not taken."
Well that's got a silence out of the Vampire King.
"And you're not at all related to Luke and Jan Valentine? You know, the ones working for the Nazi's and decided to raid my boss's place and try to kill me?"
As he just casually pulls out his handgun.
There was a simple pause, silence answering him immediately and then--
"It's Valentine."
She was preparing for the jokes now.
"Oh don't worry. I plan on taking my absolute time with you~"
Alucard removed his red tinted glasses and stared right back into the eyes of the beautiful girl in front of him. As she sat on top of him, he was holding back his hard on, as she was indeed that charming.
"Your eyes are gorgeous. They're almost as beautiful as mine."

There was just something about the guy that Mai couldn't seem to grasp just yet. Not that she was bothered by it at all, she just understood that the vampire was a damned mystery to her. While they'd only spoken for a short time she felt something drawing her towards him. What that was she hadn't known, and yet here she was; straddling his lap with her hands rested up on his shoulders. She probably could get used to sitting here, if it meant she got to look the man in the features properly. "Don't enjoy this too much, Alucard." The woman said, features shifting into a mischievous expression, red lips curling slowly.
"Ah, good. Because that's a story in of itself."
"So, Mai Valentine. Has a nice ring to it~ What do you do for a living?"
Who now?
A single brow rose at this. "Who and what now? No. I have no relation to whoever you've just mentioned."

It's things like this that make me glad I made the choice to have Alucard as a separate sideblog, because of all the love and support you guys give whenever I ask for feedback. Glad that I'm portraying the abridged menace well enough to make you guys smile whenever I appear on your dashboards!
