My dad: you know, most people on Eid get stomach aches because they eat too much sweet food, so you should take it in stages
Me: yeah, step one: eat everything in the kitchen, step two: feel sick and regret it. Step three: forget about step two and proceed to eat everything in the kitchen. Step four: repeat steps two and three until next Ramadan

happy eid al fitr to my fellow muslims ♡
taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum, shiyamana wa shiyamakum. ja’alanallaahu minal ‘aidin wal faizin ✧
fasting for a whole month had never been this struggling for me, especially in pandemic era. if you feel the same way, i understand. it's like scraping every grain of rice at the bottom of the cooker; trying to get and grasp at whatever remains inside, mentally and financially, for me.
i wasn't doing very well in this ramadhan because my religious side of me is crumbling. here i am, still, against the biggest enemy that is my very own self. a fight that perhaps not gonna end anytime soon.
thank you for staying strong this whole month. for staying sane and tender-hearted; thank you. may every amazing moments we experienced during ramadhan happened to us too on every day ahead.
now it's time to count on how many days i have to fast in the future because of my period lmaoo ✨
