Max: Okay, I will just shortly go to the toilette.
Kim: Ok.
Max: I will be right down the floor.
Alix: We know.
Max: So don’t do anything stupid, understood?
Kim: Uhu.
Max: *leaves*
Kim: Alix, I dare you to climb to the roof with me from outside the school.
Alix: *climbing out the window* You’re so on, Meathead.

Have you noticed that some people listen to less music than others? That could have a significant effect on their health. I remember my Dad used to play classical music all the time. Now he never listens to music and is quite grumpy. Mom is much better as she goes Salsa and Tango dancing. The result is clear. She has more energy and a zest for life. According to a Harvard article music increases our cognitive functions. Music also improves your mood, reduces depression and helps healing. If you have a parent suffering from Alzheimer’s or cancer consider adding music as part of the treatment process. An energized and excited body is more likely to heal better. Even after listening to fast paced music the resting heart rates and blood pressure goes lower. And during this Covid-19 fiasco maybe we could all do with some music. Go and look for your music collection. Learning to play an instrument may enhance the brain's ability to master tasks involving language skills, memory, and attention. Lately I have been making music with the garage band app on an iPad. I must say I was on quite a high. Thinking of buying a Yamaha synthesizer now. Meanwhile I have rediscovered my mouth organ. Play music. Stay young.
