not for anything specific but here’s an ominous hilichurl mask I made with some spare foam!

Imagine it’s raining.

You don’t have an umbrella and you’re in Whispering woods, so the best you did was to seek shelter under a tree.

….With a nice view of Mondstadt too.

You’re chilling, and then you spot hilichurl trying to seek shelter from the rain. You stared for a while…then whistled to get its attention. The hilichurl stared at you. You gestured it to come over, so it did. You made space for it under the tree and the hilichurl muttered something in its language. You didn’t know what but understood that it meant ‘thanks’.

(Rumble…)

Ah…you didn’t eat lunch today…

The hilichurl stared at you for a second, then reached into a small pouch attached to its belt.

???

Oh, it’s offering you a sunsettia. You took it with a smile and mumbled ‘thanks’.

The hilichurl nodded and began eating its own. You began to eat yours as well, savouring the flavour and the atmosphere.

*hilichurl sounds*
