This was originally posted on 16th May this year. It's 19th July today, over 2 months later... & weather conditions in India have become worse. Today, the maximum temperature is 33°C & minimum is 28°C. (according to Google) The heatwaves are getting worse everyday. Monsoon spans from June-September in India. But guess what❓ .... rainfall has been extremely scanty for the past few weeks. It's horrible here.

the petals unfold slowly, gently coaxed by dripping drops
it delights in the grayscale world
thrives under the shade of umbrellas
how strange! people mumble
a flower that blooms in gloom

thunder rumbles and the mumbles patter away
looking for shelter
but the flower stays there
springs up after being trampled
and continues to sway to the beat
of heaven’s drum.

the flower will become still
as each drop dries the petals will close
until it becomes a bud again
with sunrays shining on its closed face

The foggy sky reaches down to embrace the peaks of the Black Mountains. My absolute favorite scene to see on a hike.
I can't describe how happy 'gloomy weather' makes me. That quiet grey and the comfort in the sound of rain. The tinge of cold in the air which tickles your ears and nose. When the storm reels in, thunder and lighting make love, isn't that the most beautiful musical you've seen? I dance to it.
Grey makes me happy and rain comforts me.
Every time it rains, I picture you between my sheets. A cup of hot chocolate and us talking and laughing while listening to the rain outside of the window ⏳
Rainy weather is so dark and gloomy and sad and wet and you can't go out and ughhhh.
