Just saying we were completely and utterly robbed of a Mugen Train-style arc where the gang goes on a mission with Gyomei and they follow him around like ducklings

I've been doodling them for days haha T o T) This Genya comic came from a thought I had with the meaning of his name, but I ended up just making a Genya interpretation of "humanity", as is what he ends up losing in hopes of forgiveness... but for me, he's still very human. As the kanji is read, "Gen" means illusion (delusion), but this word in english can be translated as mirage or hope in my language. I find it very beautiful for him. He's one of my favorite characters (>.<) please don't repost these!

Gyomei: Gahhhhhh!!! There I got a pretty good look at you.
Maybe in a softer time...

i was watching ahsoka and noticed she has three head tails and i was like, "it's like mitsuri's three braids!" and then it... snowballed. a lot. 😂 so here are some of my kny faves in a star wars au!

Something about the Hashira and their bodies: Sanemi's body being covered in self-inflicted wounds, Mitsuri changing her body and appearance to fit in, Obanai thinking his blood is filthy and believing death is the only way to cleanse himself, Shinobu filling herself with poison, Muichiro's body remembering even when he didn't, Tengen going through inhuman training, Kyojuro sacrificing himself to save others, Giyū still fighting even after losing an arm, and Gyomei using his hands for violence for the first time ever and never being able to forget it.

So much of demon slayer might not have happened if not for Kaigaku-
Listen, listen, assuming other slayers don’t somehow fill these plot points-
If Kaigaku had never betrayed Gyomei, We might not have the Stone pillar because Gyomei may not have met Ubuyashiki
If Gyomei didn’t meet Ubuyashiki, the Kocho sisters might have died to the demon that killed their parents because Gyomei wouldn’t be there to save them
If the Kocho sisters never joined the Corp, Kanao wouldn’t have been adopted, not by them at least.
If the Butterfly sisters weren’t around, there’s no butteryfly mansion the way we know it, and the Douma fight would look quite different
So would the Kokushibo fight, since Gyomei wouldn’t be there
Zenitsu wouldn’t be fueled by anger at Kaigaku for their masters suicide.
And without Kanao, Tanjiro might not have become Human again.
Jfc, is Kaigaku actually secretly important?
